Chu Yi Chen’s ignorance of her made Jin Jing feel bad. Staring at Chu Yi Chen as he walked away from her made her bite her bottom lip. Refusing to give up, she spoke out again.

On his way to the parking lot, Chu Yi Chen looked at Xu Ming and the others who followed him out. He then asked, “You are all going home?”
“Yes, but not to our own homes.” Feng Zi Heng inched in closer to Chu Yi Chen, “I have an early flight tomorrow. It’s easier to go to the airport from your place.”
“My place has no space for you.” Chu Yi Chen declined crisply. Without Feng Zi Heng saying anything, Chu Yi Chen knew what he was planning. “Plus, she doesn’t live with me. So give it up.”
As Chu Yi Chen spoke, he had opened his car door and pulled Feng Zi Heng, who was trying to sit inside, out.
Feng Zi Heng stared at him eerily, getting more and more curious about the girl who showed up at Emperor City the other day.
Chu Yi Chen drove the car out of everyone’s sight really quickly. After he was gone, Xu Ming obviously became the “target” for the other two.
“Don’t look at me. I don’t know anything.” Xu Ming retreated a few steps, “He said he will introduce you guys to her. So just wait patiently.”
By the time Chu Yi Chen got to his condo, he coincidentally ran into Gu Xiao Xiao and Chu Xiao Xi.
“Bro, how come you are getting back so late?” Chu Xiao Xi asked out of curiosity.
“I had an event. What about you two? Why are you strolling around?” Chu Yi Chen said in a low voice and his gaze landed on Gu Xiao Xiao.
“We ate too much so we are taking a walk.” Chu Xiao Xi sighed, “Grandma is way too good at cooking. Before I knew it, I had eaten three bowls of rice. Before I realized it, I was already way too bloated.”
“It’s cold down here. Let’s go up.”
The three entered the building and into the elevator. Chu Xiao Xi stood in front and Gu Xiao Xiao and Chu Yi Chen stood shoulder to shoulder behind her.
Gu Xiao Xiao’s head hung low as she stared at her feet. Noticing the faint scent of alcohol on Chu Yi Chen’s body, her mind drifted away.
“Oh right. Next week I have to go to France and I probably can’t return until a month later.” They exited out of the elevator. Chu Xiao Xi turned to look at Chu Yi Chen, “Mom called today and asked me to go for a visit on the way. Do you want to come?”
“One’s France one’s the United States. How’s that even on the way?” Chu Yi Chen said coldly, “I’m not going.”
“That’s fine. You have to go back for new year’s anyway.”
After Chu Xiao Xi was done speaking, she walked into her own unit hugging onto Gu Xiao Xiao, giving Chu Yi Chen no opportunity to sneak peeks at Gu Xiao Xiao.
