Wife Please Be Obedient - Chapter 22

The harder he tried not to think about it, the more he noticed it. He felt alright when He Fang was asleep. But now, it was literally torture.

Qin Guanglin dared not lower his head to look at He Fang and dared not even move about. He could only raise his head and stare at the ceiling in an attempt to think about something interesting to shift his focus. In the end, all that flashed through his mind were thoughts of He Fang’s mouth, her perky butt, her fingers covered with saliva… His face turned redder and redder, and he instinctively swallowed.

“You’re not behaving yourself,” He Fang suddenly said.

“No way. I’m behaving so well.” Qin Guanglin felt a little guilty.

“Then, why are you still like this?” He Fang fidgeted. “It’s been so long. You must be thinking about nonsense.”

“Tsk… Don’t move about!” Qin Guanglin immediately hugged her tight to stop her from moving again.

“Hmph!” He Fang turned her head and bit his arm. She then used her arms to push herself up. “I won’t let you hug me anymore. I’m going to the kitchen to look at the radish.”

“Go on,” Qin Guanglin said gloomily before he sprawled out on the bed.

It was too embarrassing. How could he behave like this when He Fang had not even graduated?!

He had to occupy himself with something. Otherwise, he would continue to think about nonsense. He looked around and randomly grabbed his cell phone from beside him. He started browsing and tapped into Sun Wen’s WeChat Moments, for he wanted to see if there were any photos of him working to see what the studio was like.

Before long, He Fang came back. She lay beside Qin Guanglin and looked at him with a smile on her face.

Qin Guanglin felt tingly under her stare. He moved back uneasily. “Why’re you looking at me like that?”

He Fang continued looking at him without speaking.

“It’s very natural. You can’t blame me!” Qin Guanglin’s embarrassment was turning into anger.

“I didn’t say anything.” He Fang smiled and inched closer to him. “Anyway, I’m not the one feeling uncomfortable.”

“How dare you!” Qin Guanglin turned his back to her and ignored her.

“Alright. I won’t say anymore.” He Fang moved closer. She wrapped her arm around his waist and hugged him from behind. “This is fine, right?”

Qin Guanglin still felt a little embarrassed. He looked at his cell phone gloomily without speaking. He Fang deliberately moved her hand about his waist, but he instinctively grabbed her hand and gently played with it.

“Are you graduating at the end of June?” After thinking for some time, Qin Guanglin changed the subject and showed concern for her current predicament.

“Yes. Why?”

“The summer holidays are starting in July… Didn’t you say that you want to be a teacher? It’s difficult to find a job during that period.” He still remembered how anxious his roommate had looked back then because he could not find a job.

“I won’t look for a job then.” He Fang did not feel pressure at all. “I’ll take a break for two months.”

“I see.” Qin Guanglin nodded. He then became conscious of a severe problem. “If you rest for two months, are you going home?”

He City was not far from Luo City. But they were two cities, after all. Meeting and all would be way too inconvenient!

“Do you want me to go back?” He Fang retorted with a question.

“Of course not…” Qin Guanglin lowered his voice. He felt that he was a bit selfish. Going back home was a very normal thing. What would she even do if she stayed here? She could not stay in the dormitory after graduating, and there was no way she could stay here.

He could only hope for her to successfully find a job in Luo City.

“Why?” He Fang continued questioning him.

“Because we won’t be able to meet often if you go back,” he replied honestly. Although it was something that would happen more than a month from now, he felt unhappy just thinking about it.

“Student Qin, please reorganize your words.” Fang moved upwards gently and said into Qin Guanglin’s ears, “I may choose not to go back home.”

Qin Guanglin froze. Reorganize his words… What did she want to hear?

“Because I want to see you often?” He spoke tentatively.

“Say it again.”

“Because I… I can’t bear for you to leave.” Qin Guanglin felt that this was probably it.

“I can’t bear to leave you either.” He Fang happily pecked him on the cheek. “I really, really can’t bear to leave you.”

Her hair brushed Qin Guanglin’s face, making him itch. Qin Guanglin was blushing faintly. He still felt a bit unaccustomed to saying such romantic words in front of her.

“Then, you…”

“I’ll go back once. But I won’t stay there for too long, because…” He Fang did not finish the rest of her sentence and simply hugged him hard.

Qin Guanglin was a little worried. “But what if you can’t find a job? You can’t stay in the dorms anymore.”

“Should I sleep at your place?” He Fang was teasing him again.

“Don’t joke around. I’m considering it very carefully.” Displeased, Qin Guanglin held her hand and looked at it before looking down and biting her finger.

“Your saliva smells terrible.” He Fang wiped her finger on him.

“Of course it doesn’t,” Qin Guanglin grumbled softly. He then said skeptically, “Do you have plans already?”

He suddenly remembered that He Fang was someone who planned in advance. She could have deliberately led him to speak cheesy words by telling him to reorganize his words. But in reality, she had already decided to stay in Luo City a long time ago. This was highly possible.

“Of course. I’m Teacher He. Everything is under control.” He Fang’s words confirmed his speculation. “Classmate Qin, you don’t have to worry.”

“Alright.” Qin Guanglin thought about it. He then added, “Let me know if you have any problems. I’ll see if I can help.”

“Sure. I definitely will.”

The two of them did not continue speaking. Their clasped hands gently stroked each other as they basked in this quiet moment.

After a long time, Qin Guanglin glanced at his watch. “It’s already eight-thirty. I’ll send you back. It won’t be good if it gets too late.”

“Let me hug you for five more minutes,” He Fang said lazily. She fidgeted and hugged him a bit tighter.

Qin Guanglin accepted her. He wanted to be affectionate for a while more too.

After five minutes, another five minutes passed before He Fang sat up. “Let’s go, Student Qin.”

“Sure.”

Qin Guanglin accompanied her out of the house. He felt that the wind was a bit chilly. “Give me a moment.”

He turned around, went back in to take a thin coat, and passed it to He Fang. “Take this. You can take it off when you reach the school later.”

“You’ve improved a lot. You deserve praise.” He Fang took the coat from him and stroked his face. Then, she pulled the coat over her body and pulled him in the bus stop direction.

The moonlight was very bright, and there were very few people on the street. Their shadows stretched behind their bodies. As they moved closer to the streetlight, their shadows gradually shortened before projecting in front of them. Their clasped hands swayed as they walked.

He Fang was humming softly again. She was humming the same tune she had been humming while cooking in the kitchen. Qin Guanglin found it quite pleasant. “What song is that?”

“What?” He Fang was jolted back to her senses.

“The tune you just hummed was very nice. I’ll give it a listen when I go back.” It was not just because it sounded nice, but he also wanted to understand better the things she liked.

“I randomly hummed it.” He Fang shook her head. She then looked up and glanced at the sign in front of them. “Let’s go. The bus is here.”

There were only a few people on the bus close to nine. After putting in the coins, he pulled He Fang with him and casually found two seats. She leaned her head on his shoulder very naturally.

Although he was not used to being so affectionate in public places, Qin Guanglin still felt delighted inside. Being in love was so wonderful.
