Wife Please Be Obedient - Chapter 21

Qin Guanglin slowly lifted his body. The atmosphere differed from that on the boat. Everything felt very natural to him. He did not feel as anxious as he was back then. He only felt his heart palpitating.

As he looked at He Fang’s clean little face, he closed his eyes and moved closer as well. He did not feel the same tingling feeling of electricity he felt the first time. He only found it aromatic and soft.

Qin Guanglin paused for two seconds before he moved backward. He opened his eyes and looked at this little angel in front of him.

He had finally met someone as beautiful as a rainbow and experienced it for himself.

So this was what being in love felt like. It was so wonderful. He thought that he was willing to do anything for her.

He Fang slowly opened her eyes and blinked at him.

“That’s it?”

“Huh?” Qin Guanglin went blank. “Not enough?”

“…” He Fang was flabbergasted, too. “So, this is not something that all men know by nature?”

???

Qin Guanglin was a little confused. “Know what?”

She suddenly got a little angry. She sat up and stared straight at him. “You’re lying to me.”

“Why would I lie to you?” It surprised Qin Guanglin.

“…”

He Fang looked up and thought about it. She then suddenly smiled, “Hm. You wouldn’t lie to me.”

After speaking, she lay back down. “You just haven’t learned yet. You’re too young.”

“You’re two years younger than I am.” Qin Guanglin was displeased. “What do I have to learn?”

“Let me teach you this time.” He Fang found it funnier the more she thought about it. She then covered her mouth with her hand and massaged it. “Oh, no. I’ve been smiling all day. My mouth hurts from smiling.”

Qin Guanglin was speechless. “Don’t smile then. What’s there to smile about?”

“Because you’re my boyfriend. I’m happy just to see you.” He Fang still covered her mouth with her hand, which made her voice sound muffled.

His heart skipped a beat when he heard He Fang’s words, for it seemed to be the case when he thought about it. He, too, felt pleased when he saw He Fang. “Hold it in, and don’t smile then.”

“I can’t. I just want to smile.” He Fang rolled twice on the bed. “Don’t be so silly and make me smile all the time.”

“I’m not silly.” Qin Guanglin frowned. He pondered for a bit before taking the glass of water from the study desk. “Drink some warm water and calm yourself down.”

He Fang sat up, took the glass from him, and drank two mouthfuls. “I’ll give you remedial lessons another day. Don’t make me laugh anymore today.”

“You’re the one who shouldn’t smile dumbly anymore.” He took the glass from her and put it back on the study desk. He sat closer and looked at her. “You’re the silly one.”

“Hug me.” He Fang opened her arms wide.

“Isn’t that inappropriate?” Qin Guanglin hesitated. She was lying down right now. If they were going to hug, he would have to press down on her body. It was not very appropriate.

“Quick. Lie down.” She stretched her arm out and tugged him twice.

Qin Guanglin lay down with hesitation. He Fang immediately squeezed herself into his embrace, and she then fidgeted around to find a comfortable position. She then closed her eyes and said, “Let me rest for a bit. If I fall asleep, remember to wake me up at around eight.”

“Sure.” He slowly lowered the hand that was raised midair and tentatively put it on He Fang’s back. His stiff body slowly relaxed.

He Fang arched her back like a cat. “Stay like this. Don’t move about anymore.”

Qin Guanglin looked down at her, and his heart gradually turned calm. A faint scent lingered at his nose. He did not know if it was the smell of shampoo or shower gel. But in any case, it was incredibly fragrant.

Her soft and fragrant body felt nice in his arms, and he had the urge to hug her tight. He subconsciously wrapped his arms tighter, bringing the two of them even closer.

He Fang hummed in dissatisfaction and then used her head to rub against Qin Guanglin. Qin Guanglin dared not move again. Inside the quiet bedroom, the sweet atmosphere of love silently arose.

‘This was what they call the flesh and fragrance of a beauty…’ he thought to himself quietly. Suddenly, he felt that his body was reacting. Slightly awkward, he forced himself to focus elsewhere and think about something else.

Hm… He Fang was a literature major and even wrote her novels. One could not tell what people like her who dabbled in creating things were thinking on the surface. But the emotions in the depths of their hearts were delicate, complex, and intense.

His paintings were creative works as well, although they leaned towards the aesthetic side. His personality differed slightly from ordinary people, and his most noticeable trait was being solitary. He did not like noisy environments and did not like dealing with people. He simply enjoyed being alone and thinking quietly or creating, making it hard for people to understand him. One would even say he was lonely.

Their unique traits created fantastic chemistry together. That was probably why their relationship progressed so rapidly… With this, Qin Guanglin felt that he had guessed the truth, for this explanation was extremely reasonable. Otherwise, it made no sense why their relationship was moving so fast. If it were merely mutual liking, they definitely would not reach the stage they were at now. At dinner, he even mistook He Fang as part of the family.

He Fang’s breathing gradually became steady, and she looked as if she had already fallen asleep. Today had been a tiring day.

Qin Guanglin caressed her back lightly, thinking about how the two should progress in the future.

Judging by their current pace, both would move to the next stage in no time. He had to plan appropriately. It was also necessary for him to look for a stable job.

Qin Guanglin thought about his plans for the future. He did not know how much time had passed when his cell phone suddenly rang, interrupting his thoughts. He stretched his arm out, took his cell phone, and set it on silent mode. He then opened his phone to check the message he had received. It was a message from his university roommate, Sun Wen.

Sun Wen: Old Lin, are you looking for a job now?

Dense Forest: I’m looking for a stable job. Are you looking to introduce one to me?

Sun Wen: What a coincidence. The studio I’m working for right now is hiring. I saw the post you uploaded on WeChat Moments. Do you want to give it a shot?

Dense Forest: Which studio?

Sun Wen: They produce comics. It’s not a large studio, but it’s productions are all exquisite. I think it’s developing quite well. You can consider it.

Dense Forest: I’m not very familiar with comics. Is it about outlining and doing sketches?

Sun Wen: I do the coloring at a later stage. You can consider doing the illustrations and sketching. I’ll take pictures for you when I’m at work tomorrow.

Dense Forest: Sure. Thanks in advance. Where’s your studio? I’ll go over and look tomorrow. We can have a meal at the same time.

Sun Wen: That’s good too. I’ll send the address to you later.

After that exchange, Qin Guanglin put down his cell phone. He pulled He Fang into his arms again, thinking about his schedule for tomorrow.

“What time is it?” He Fang softly asked with her eyes still closed, but she had already woken up.

He glanced at his watch. “It’s only seven-thirty. Sleep a while more.”

“How nice.” Her arms tightened around Qin Guanglin’s waist. “I can hug you for a bit longer.”

“Exactly. How nice.” Qin Guanglin caressed her back, agreeing wholeheartedly.

“Does hugging me feel comfortable?” He Fang’s eyes remained closed. She curled up in his embrace like a cat, without moving at all.

“… It’s comfortable. I really like it.” Qin Guanglin hugged her a little tighter.

“I really like you hugging me, too.”

She felt Qin Guanglin’s movement. She adjusted her body gently so that both would fit even better together, and for Qin Guanglin to hug her tighter.

“Stop moving.” Qin Guanglin was a little embarrassed. His body was reacting inappropriately to her fidgeting.

“Why?” He Fang seemed to have sensed something. She fidgeted again with slight discomfort.

“You…” Qin Guanglin was extremely flustered. They were dressed in very thin clothing this season. He could not cover himself even if he wanted to.

He Fang looked up at him and seemed to realize after a moment. She smiled sneakily and buried her head back down, but she listened to him and stopped moving.

Qin Guanglin looked elsewhere with his face slightly flushed. Even if the tiny figure in his arms did not move, the warm and soft sensation remained. He could not force his reaction to go away.

“Don’t think about nonsense.” He Fang’s voice was a little muffled as she buried her head in Qin Guanglin’s chest.

“I didn’t!” Qin Guanglin felt a little aggrieved. This was not something he could control if he wanted to.

“I’ll bite you to death if you dare think about it,” she threatened softly.

“…”
