After following Clifford back to his house, Locke went on a study spree. Within three days, Locke had learned all the elementary, intermediate, and advanced support magic spells. Locke, who had not slept well the entire day, buried himself in the sea of books.
“Ah! I don’t want to learn anymore. I don’t want to learn anymore. How many spells have I learned already!”
In the middle of his venting, Locke’s captain badge vibrated.
“Green? Is there a mission?”
“There’s one in Hessler, southwest of the Dunmei Kingdom. Recently, there have been continuous attacks from the hydra. Set off immediately! The situation is extremely urgent!”
After receiving the order, Locke immediately woke Clifford up. The two of them activated the steel dragon at the gate and flew towards the southwest.
“What happened?”
“Hessler is beseiged by sea monsters. Green asked me to investigate the situation!”

While he was speaking, Locke took out the bedsheets he’d taken from Clifford’s house, laid them on the dragon’s back and fell fast asleep. Seeing Locke sleeping soundly, Clifford immediately sat to the side and began to meditate.
At noon the next day, Locke woke up and found that he could already see Hessler not far away from him on the steel dragon.

Locke pointed at the sea monster in the distance and said to Green, “If I encounter such a monster, can I ask for a volunteer to help out?”
Seeing the three-headed water dragon in the distance, Green could not help but frown. “How did this thing get here?”
“You should stall for time! I’ll send someone to investigate right now.”
Then, Adolf Green decisively cut the connection.
