A few hundred meters were covered with Leila Fox’s nagging. Zhou Qingfeng drove the car straight into Columbia University’s campus.
“Wait for me in the car, trust me. Thinking about how to deal with the situation before you now will increase your chances of survival.” Zhou Qingfeng lifted the FN SCAR in his hands and exited the vehicle.
Leila Fox nodded obediently but then very quickly asked, “You really don’t need my help? I could help you deal with that dog easily.”
“No need.” Zhou Qingfeng got out of the mobile command vehicle, gun in hand. When he emerged from the car, he saw many university students surrounding him. Someone yelled loudly, “Look, look, there’s another police officer here!”
Obviously, news of the police vanishing had spread. In New York, where public order was extremely complicated, if the authorities were not present to uphold it, it would spell huge trouble.
The uniform Zhou Qingfeng was wearing looked like that of a police officer’s. Additionally, he had special equipment policemen normally carried on him. Above all, covering his face was a policeman’s headgear. His appearance gave the students and teachers at the university great comfort.
Zhou Qingfeng actually felt drawn by them. He brought a red horn down from the police car and shouted as he told them, “Everyone, I think you all are partially aware of the situation. Due to unknown reasons, a large portion of the police in the city has vanished. I, who have lost my comrades, also feel very afraid.
“Still, I have decided to carry out my duties. I came to the university here in hopes of protecting the most elite people of our community. I wish I could unite all of you and guarantee the wellbeing of our community. However, I have too little power alone. I need you all to work hard with me.
“I need you all to listen to my orders now. First, boys, group up to collect food, drinks, medicine, and weapons. Then, lock down the entire campus, build a barricade, and stop any unidentified people from entering the school.
“Next, girls, contact all the students and teachers you know right away. Tell them that the current situation is dire. Society could go out of control at any time. I need all of them to be here. Only if everyone gathers together as a group will you all be able to survive.
“Finally, don’t give up hope. Although there’s no more government or police, we are still alive and we will stay that way. Let us pray. God bless America!”

The sound of the horn gave all the students and teachers great comfort, especially since everything Zhou Qingfeng had said was to protect them first. Zhou Qingfeng’s last line, ‘God bless America’, lit the entire place up, inciting a round of cheers.
‘Hahaha… this group of hotblooded idiots will very quickly be taught by reality how to act during the end of the world. These youngsters will be a good labor force in the near future!’ Seeing the jubilation before his eyes, Zhou Qingfeng really wanted to shout, “All the world’s heroes have fallen into my trap!”
This was Columbia University! The students and professors who qualified to be at the university were some of the smartest people in the world. Zhou Qingfeng hoped he would be able to find a few medical and biology professors to help him research ways to build the NTZ-49.
After coaxing a group of students to get to work, Zhou Qingfeng slipped away and headed toward the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. The campus security guards had disappeared along with other military personel. Nevertheless, there were still a few college administrators left.
Zhou Qingfeng stopped someone and asked, “Where’s the Babylonian Intelligent Lab?”
The person who was stopped jumped up before answering honestly, “The seventh floor.”
Zhou Qingfeng took the elevator straight to the seventh floor. When he exited the elevator, he saw a large sign that read, ‘Babylonian Intelligent Lab’, as well as a glass workroom was behind it.
Most of the rooms were a little messy. One glance told him the tables had been tidied by the computer-playing engineering students. On the other hand, some of the rooms had their cabinets arranged neatly and uniformly. There were specialized safety doors in the lab. Under normal circumstances, professional security personnel would be present to guard them.
However, at the present moment, in front of Zhou Qingfeng were a few muscular security guards tied to chairs. The latter group was struggling nonstop. They even had tape over their mouths. Zhou Qingfeng walked up and ripped off the tape on one of their mouths. He asked, “What happened?”
The guard shouted, “Tony Parker is a spy. He brought two women to infiltrate the lab. He locked up all the workers in the lab and even attempted to steal confidential research papers. Quick, call for back up. We need back up.”
It was not right. Tony Parker was an extremely lucky person, but he was a bumbling idiot. He managed to take down so many guards with just two women?
Zhou Qingfeng had no intention of releasing the security guards. He continued to walk toward the lab with his gun held up. Very soon, he saw a few tempered glass doors that had been shattered. Clear footprints could be seen on the floor.
Looking at the scene, it seemed a fight happened there. The security guards had been dealt with at that location. However, the glass door seemed like one that could stop even bullets. Zhou Qingfeng felt that even with his current increased strength, he would not have been able to kick the door down.
Such a thing could have only been done by one person.
Zhou Qingfeng immediately guessed who the two women that the security guard had mentioned were. One of them was responsible for cracking the security codes—Angelina Lawrence, while the other was responsible for infiltrating the place—Catarina Mason.
Just as Zhou Qingfeng was thinking of the long-legged, fierce girl, she came walking out of the corner of the lab. As their eyes locked, they sprang into action at once. Zhou Qingfeng swiftly aimed the muzzle of his gun, trying to suppress his opponent’s movements.
Catarina, that crazy woman, had never spoken with reason. She was always more than willing to let her actions express her thoughts. When a bastard dressed like a police officer appeared in front of her, her first reaction was to dash toward him immediately.
This girl used only two steps to cross the distance of ten or so meters. It was even faster than her shooting her gun! As expected, bioelectricity-driven titanium legs were super tough. In the blink of an eye, she was in front of Zhou Qingfeng.
Zhou Qingfeng, eyes wide, watched as the icy-faced, tough girl threw a punch at his head. If her punch hit its target, even the mightiest of bulls would faint on the spot. Zhou Qingfeng now understood why some of the security guards who were tied up were so fearful. Nobody could have remained brave in the face of an insane woman like her!
Her fist whistled and flew through the air!
Zhou Qingfeng had never suffered a sneak attack, ambush, or surprise attack before. Such attacks did not work on him! ‘Machines are quicker than people. Guns always shoot first!’ Before the fist could smash his face, Zhou Qingfeng pulled back and dodged it.
Zhong Qingfeng bent his waist and lowered his body. Having dodged Catarina’s heavy fist, he directed his fist crashed into the woman’s stomach.
The next second, both parties clashed violently. Although Zhou Fengqing had avoided Catarina’s fist, he felt a wave of severe pain come from his own fist all the way to his elbow. It was as if a train had crashed into him, and he flew backward.
The crazy woman had relied on the superstrength of her legs to wear a full set of heavy body armor! Zhou Fengqing had just punched a ceramic bulletproof board. ‘My hand! It really hurts!’
Catarina suffered even more pain. The attack she had proclaimed by herself to never miss had been seen through by Zhou Qingfeng. The ghost-like figure of Zhou Qingfeng at the end had her startled so badly that her entire body was covered in goosebumps.
Moreover, when Zhou Qingfeng’s fist hit her lower abdomen, even though he felt so much pain until he screamed, the muscles and bones in his entire body had been strengthened with NTZ-49. Catarina herself only had her two legs strengthened. Hence, there was no way she could take such a violent strike head-on.
As Zhou Qingfeng hugged his arm and rolled around on the floor, the tough chick’s face began to turn pale. She struggled to crawl up from the shattered glass door. Withstanding the severe pain in her entire body, she asked, “Who are you?”
