Venomancer Of Gaming - Chapter 56

The Dark Mage panicked due to the sudden appearance of Crayon Knife. The Dark Origin could no longer be used on the Thief. Instead, he threw it at Crayon Knife.

When he suffered this attack, Crayon Knife’s health dropped quite a bit. However, he remembered Fatty’s instructions to focus on attacking the Dark Mage and ignore everything else. Therefore, he ignored his health decrease, chasing and attacking the Dark Mage instead.

Fatty finally saw a window of opportunity then. The Thief suffered from speed reduction and was left with little health. Hence, Fatty took damage from the corrosion arrow the Dark Hunter released and chased the Thief who had retreated. Once he was in attacking range, he threw out a Miasma attack!

He did not care about what was going to happen next as he ran toward the Two-Claw Mermen.

The Dark Hunter in Wind Drifting’s party was probably angered by Fatty’s action. After being successfully duped by Fatty, his team became the active attacking party. This made the Dark Hunter player feel like he was being toyed with. Hence, he started to chase the mastermind, who was Fatty.

Actually, the Ranged Class Dark Hunter had an advantage when facing the Magic Class Venomancer. The former’s shooting distance was slighter longer than the latter’s, which was also why the Dark Hunter had dared to chase Fatty in the first place.

However, the benefit of adding points to one’s Constitution was revealed. With an abundant amount of health, Fatty did not need to worry about being shot to death by the Dark Hunter. In other words, Fatty could withstand the attacks while casting the Miasma Skill against the Thief.

After running into the throng of Two-Claw Mermen, the mermen, who were attacking the Healing Ward placed by Luo Luo, turned and surrounded Fatty instead.

The Healing Ward of the Prophet Class could not instantly recover a substantial amount of health points, unlike the Dark Origin of the Dark Mage. However, the truth was that the Healing Ward was better than the Dark Origin, for that skill’s duration was longer than the duration of skills that could heal more health points. Most importantly, the Healing Ward healed everyone within a fixed circumference, an effect that would last so long as one stayed within that circumference.

Luo Luo’s Level 1 Healing Ward could at most speed up the regeneration of Warlocks by 3 health points per second. This amount was actually sufficient for Fatty.

The Dark Hunter finally caught up. He was shocked and pleased upon seeing Fatty dash into the monster crowd. Had Fatty gone crazy? Or was Fatty adamant about committing suicide?

In truth, Fatty had his own plans. There were a total of five Two-Claw Mermen there. Upon seeing them speedily crawling toward him, Fatty suddenly made a U-turn.

With the five Two-Claw Mermen chasing behind him, Fatty started to run in circles within the Healing Ward’s healing circumference.

The mermen could have caught up with him given his movement speed. However, when Fatty’s Poison Sting hit the Two-Claw Merman in the lead, its movement speed reduction caused the mermen behind to slow down as well.

As a result, Fatty was no longer in danger and was able to maintain a safe distance between him and the mermen.

By the time the Dark Hunter caught up, he could sense that something was amiss but could not put his finger on the problem. Therefore, he shook his head, thinking that he was overthinking. He pulled his bow taut, intending to attack Fatty.

Unfortunately, Fatty saw him approaching. He ran a little forward and escaped the Hunter’s attack range.

Since the attack range was insufficient, the Dark Hunter had no choice but to advance by a few steps. However, Fatty was already running ahead so the Dark Hunter needed to continue running as well.

Soon, Fatty led the five mermen away from the Healing Ward’s range. On the other hand, the Dark Hunter entered the range.

The Dark Hunter wondered what Fatty was trying to do by placing a group of Healing Wards there and not staying within the range to be healed. Then, he saw Fatty bringing the five Two-Claw Mermen with a U-turn and running toward him!

Oh no! The Dark Hunter was aware of Fatty’s intention. Thus, he hastily lifted the bow in his hand and aimed at Fatty.

One arrow, two arrows… Each attack of the Dark Hunter caused more than 50 points of damage to Fatty. However, to his surprise, Fatty was not anxious at all. He acted as though this amount of health loss was nothing.

He gritted his teeth and wanted to continue shooting. He wished he could stand before Fatty and kill him. Then, the system announced, “Party member Pineapple has died!”

Pineapple was the Thief player who had tried to attack Luo Luo and failed. Instead, his path had been blocked by Fated Sky. The final straw was when Fatty had cast the Poison Sting and Miasma against him. He had not been left with much health to begin with, and the toxin effect took his last few health points away. Unfortunately, their Dark Mage was too occupied to help him. Luo Moling had used Incinerate and easily killed him!

The first player to die was actually from his party! Wind Drifting and his party members were all taken aback!

Making use of the distraction, Fatty suddenly used the last Speed Scroll in his backpack and sprinted past the Dark Hunter. At the same time, he cunningly threw a Poison Sting at the other player.

The Dark Hunter player was alarmed when he was hit by the Poison Sting.

When Fatty had made a U-turn just now, he had not cast a Poison Sting at the Two-Claw Mermen to reduce their movement speed. As a result, the mermen quickly caught up with the Dark Hunter, who suffered from speed reduction.

Consequently, the Dark Hunter became the prey of the mermen instead!

Fatty was extremely cunning. He had used his last Speed Scroll to set a trap for the Dark Hunter. Luo Luo’s Healing Wards were there to help Fatty withstand the Dark Hunter’s attacks. It was laughable that the Dark Hunter had never guessed that Fatty had added points to his Constitution and was thus completely different from any other Venomancer. With more than 800 HP, attempting to kill Fatty would not be an easy feat.

Fatty had managed to turn the tide exactly because he had bought some time.

Since the Dark Hunter was now in danger, there was no way Fatty would let go of this opportunity.

The Dark Hunter was in trouble but was still trying to move about. He had discarded the notion of continuing to attack Fatty and instead focused on trying to shake off the five Two-Claw Mermen behind him. He failed to do so, as Fatty had no intention of letting his speed reduction effect stop.

There was no need for Fatty to use another Poison Sting. After struggling for more than five seconds, the Dark Hunter was submerged by the crowd of Two-Claw Mermen.

Two people! Two people from Wind Drifting’s party had been killed!

Then, something unexpected happened on Fatty’s side. Fated Sky was in danger, for he had previously ignored Wind Drifting’s attack and attacked the Thief player instead. As a result, his health was much weaker than Wind Drifting’s health. Luo Luo’s Healing Wards were stuck between the mermen crowd, and their Skill Cooldown time was quite long. Therefore, they were unable to help Fated Sky, which resulted in the possibility of Fated Sky dying…

The Pyromancer suppressed by Luo Moling could finally summon his imp. Luo Moling and the Pyromancer were busy fighting with each other and could not help Fated Sky either.

On the other side, Crayon Knife had yet to eliminate the Dark Mage, mainly because the Dark Mage kept casting the Dark Origin on himself in a continuous self-healing attempt.

The Dark Origin Skill did not recover many health points, but its Cooldown time was very short. It was only 3 seconds. The Dark Mage’s Dark Origin might be at Level 2 or 3, so he could heal 45 health points each time. This number was slightly lower than Crayon Knife’s attacks. Therefore, Crayon Knife needed more time before he could kill the Dark Mage.

Upon seeing the situation, Fatty resolutely shouted at Fated Sky, “Run!”

Fated Sky did not hesitate to turn away and start running. Luo Luo was smart, for she immediately ran with Fated Sky upon hearing Fatty’s shout.

Wind Drifting was engrossed in fighting, as he was about to finally kill Fated Sky. There was no way Wind Drifting would let Fated Sky flee, so he followed him closely.

However, Fatty caught up to them in time. Just as he brushed past Fated Sky, he cast a Poison Sting and then a Miasma Skill against Wind Drifting. Both skills landed on the man. Then, Fatty turned and ran in the same direction as Fated Sky.

“Should we turn back and kill him?” Fated Sky asked Fatty on the party channel as he ran.

“No! Poison him to death!” Fatty replied sinisterly. “Let him end up in a sorry state, both dead and alive! We shall deal with that Pyromancer instead!”

“Holy cow!” Fated Sky was rendered speechless. “You’re cunning!”

The Pyromancer was fighting with Luo Moling and did not expect Fatty, Fated Sky, and Luo Luo to suddenly come running from the side. He panicked as a result and was hit by Fated Sky’s Blood Strike.

From then on, the Pyromancer started basically being tortured. He was hit by Fatty’s Poison Sting and Miasma, Fated Sky’s attacks, and the flaming arrow attack of Luo Moling’s Flaming Imp. Even Luo Luo waved her Staff and started hitting the player with it.

The Pyromancer was killed within three seconds. However, behind them, Wind Drifting, who had been hit by the Poison Sting’s speed reduction effect, had caught up with them…

Fatty turned around and threw a Poison Sting and Miasma attack at him. After reducing his movement speed, Fatty ran toward the Dark Mage.

When the Dark Mage was killed by Fatty’s party, they all turned and looked at Wind Drifting with sinister smiles.

Wind Drifting considered this a tragedy. In under one and a half minutes, all his party members had died. This situation seemed to be reminiscent of the Bandit Camp Dungeon. The outcome was obvious given that a Death Knight, who lacked the means to execute long-range attacks, had faced a Venomancer player who possessed speed reduction skills.

Fatty had accomplished what he’d said by continuously poisoning Wind Drifting until his health had dropped to zero. Then, he ran back and used the Staff to physically attack Wind Drifting!

In the end, he really beat Wind Drifting to death by using the Staff!

The spectators were dumbfounded when they witnessed this. They had originally thought that it was only a rumor that a Magic Class had used a Staff to physically attack and kill a player. Unexpectedly, this scene unfolded before their eyes…

It was such an impactful scene…
