To You Who I Yearn For - Chapter 22

By the time Feng Zhuo returned to the table, Tao Yaoyao had already taken care of all the food.

At this moment, she was leaning back in her chair playing on her phone. Upon seeing Feng Zhuo come back, she sat upright again.

She rolled her eyes, leaned on the table, and shook her phone. She frowned and asked, “Hey, aren’t you a model? Why is there no news about you on the internet? How could this be possible? There’s no news about you at all. I think you’re a liar, and you aren’t actually a model at all.”

After saying that, she looked at him with her eyes full of suspicion, “You’re not a male prostitute, are you?”

Feng Zhuo glanced at her languidly. “Don’t you know that some models and celebrities use stage names? Feng Zhuo is my real name, not my stage name.”

Tao Yaoyao choked, and she seemed extremely shocked. “Do you actually have a stage name? Tell me, what is your stage name?”

Feng Zhuo looked very cold as he said, “Why should I tell you?”

Tao Yaoyao sulked. “Hmph, why be so pretentiously mysterious. If I want to find out, I will find out sooner or later…” Then she rolled her eyes and started trying to be sly with him. “Okay, what’s your Weibo account? I’ll follow you. Let’s interact when we have time or just do it to get some more followers.”

If she followed him on Weibo, she’d be able to find out his stage name.

But Feng Zhuo refused to reveal it. Just as Tao Yaoyao was about to get angry, she saw the man who Wan Jiabao was going to meet walk out quickly, while Wan Jiabao was nervously following behind him.

Tao Yaoyao was very nosy. She poked her head around the corner to see what was going on.

She saw that Wan Jiabao was anxious, and his forehead was sweating. The blue veins on his forehead bulged slightly. He was following Huang Yule out in confusion and panic. He was trying to explain, “Young Master Huang, please listen to me… this was a misunderstanding, really just a misunderstanding.”

Huang Yule answered him in a cold voice, “Whether or not it was a misunderstanding isn’t the point for me. The point is that the Wan family’s motives regarding the collaboration between the two corporations weren’t sincere, and the Wan family just wants to use the Huang family as a springboard. So, how can we possibly collaborate with you guys?”

With that said, Huang Yule walked away fast. When passing by Feng Zhuo’s table, he caught a glimpse of Tao Yaoyao, who appeared curious about what was going on. Seemingly in a world of his own and completely undisturbed, Feng Zhuo sipped his water.

Wan Jiabao couldn’t be bothered with Tao Yaoyao at the moment.

The Wan family attached great importance to the cooperation between these two companies, so he couldn’t mess it up.

He kept chasing Huang Yule and pleading, “Young Master Huang, please give us another chance. Just this once. I’m begging you. I assure you that this situation will never happen again…”

Huang Yule ignored him completely and left the restaurant.

Wan Jiabao wanted to follow him some more, but he hadn’t paid his bill yet and was stopped by the waiter at the door.

“D*mn you, as if I’d dine and dash?” Wan Jiabao vented all his anger onto the waiter.

Passively allowing him to scold him, the waiter remained polite and smiling as he took his credit card. Then he went to the cashier to check out.

As Tao Yaoyao watched him, she couldn’t help but laugh.

She looked at Feng Zhuo, who was sitting across from her. His black eyes narrowed slightly and he smiled.

Tao Yaoyao felt glee over Wan Jiabao’s misfortune and smirked unkindly. “Serves that scumbag right. Good job dissing him. How gratifying.”

Wan Jiabao had already had to suppress his rage, so he had cursed at the waiter. However, that didn’t relieve his anger at all. Upon seeing that Tao Yaoyao was daring to laugh at him, he immediately became furious.
