To You Who I Yearn For - Chapter 20

When Wan Jiabao came over and started haranguing them, Tao Yaoyao instinctively looked at Feng Zhuo, who was sitting on the opposite side of the table. His eyes were calm, and there was no sign of astonishment. Feng Zhuo’s calm mannerisms made Tao Yaoyao suspect that Feng Zhuo had deliberately come here to eat in order to encounter Wan Jiabao.

However, that seemed unlikely. He was simply good at keeping calm.

That was a good character trait, and one she should learn from him. She glanced at Wan Jiabao very coldly. “Who are you?”

Wan Jiabao rubbed his eyes and verified that he wasn’t seeing things, and she was indeed Tao Yaoyao. His facial expression became even more ugly. “Tao Yaoyao, I’m your future husband.”

Tao Yaoyao said very politely, yet in an unfriendly tone, “I’m sorry, but I’m already married. My husband is sitting here across from me.”

When she said that, she winked at Feng Zhuo several times in an extremely flirtatious way. Feng Zhuo uncharacteristically actually smiled back at her, but like a bud that was waiting to be released. He didn’t actually break out in a big smile, but his faint smile was more gorgeous and beautiful than a blooming flower.

“You…” Wan Jiabao was angry, but just as he was about to say something, he saw someone coming into the restaurant.

He could no longer be bothered arguing with Tao Yaoyao. He left after saying, “I’ll settle my accounts with you later.” He then turned around to greet the man who’d just entered the restaurant. “Young Master Huang.”

Tao Yaoyao couldn’t help but feel disdainful at his obsequious mannerisms.

That man who was referred to as Huang Gongzi was called Huang Yule. When he looked at Wan Jiabao, he also noticed the table that Wan Jiabao had been standing next to. When he saw the man at the table, his pupils dilated slightly, and a strange expression flashed through his eyes.

He stared at Feng Zhuo, opened his mouth as if he wanted to call out to him, but then noticed that Feng Zhuo gave him a very cold look.

That look was very piercing, and it also carried a warning.

Shocked, he shut up immediately, cast his gaze aside, and walked forward with an impassive expression despite Wan Jiabao’s greetings.

When he’d passed by Tao Yaoyao’s table, his ears perked up. He heard Feng Zhuo, facing the woman sitting across from him, say calmly, “I’m finished eating. I’m going to the bathroom.”

“Finished eating? You just said that you were very hungry and that was why you ordered so many dishes. Don’t you know that wasting food is shameful?” the girl whispered, complaining to Feng Zhuo.

Huang Yule glanced at them discreetly and saw that Feng Zhuo had actually moved all the food he’d ordered to the girl’s side of the table.

He was shocked.

Huang Yule followed Wan Jiabao to the reserved box. He suddenly stopped and said, “You go in first. I’ll be right there after I visit the bathroom.”

Without looking at him for acknowledgment, he turned around and left.

Nodding and bowing, Wan Jiabao followed behind him. “Second Young Master Huang, I will take you there.”

Huang Yule stopped and glanced at him coldly. “Don’t follow me.”

Wan Jiabao’s face stiffened, and he felt a little upset, but he didn’t show it at all. He obediently said, “Okay, then I will go to the private room to make preparations.”

When Huang Yule arrived in the bathroom, Feng Zhuo was at the marble counter bending over washing his hands.

After Feng Zhuo washed his hands, Huang Yule hurriedly pulled out two pieces of paper towel and handed them to Feng Zhuo. “Mr. Chuck.”

Glancing at him, Feng Zhuo took the paper towels and wiped his hands slowly. Narrowing his eyes at Huang Yule in the mirror, he said, “I didn’t expect to encounter you here. I had a different impression of you.”

These words made Huang Yule breathe a sigh of relief. They also made him a little excited.

He really hadn’t expected to see Mr. Chuck here. And he was happy that Mr. Chuck had actually remembered him.
