Jian Sangyu led General out of the cold-drink store with Gu Chen after the payment was done. Seeing that her look was wandering about the stores in the mall, Gu Chen asked, “Should we go home or go around the mall?”
“Going home?” Jian Sangyu tried to make sure that she did not hear Gu Chen wrong, “We are not going to walk the dog?”
General wagged his tail and barked automatically.
Gu Chen threw a look at Jian Sangyu and answered briefly. She apparently had no willingness to walk about and if he forced her to walk the dog in the compound, Gu Chen felt that she would hate him for the rest of her life.
“Then let’s go home. We can take a nap.” Jian Sangyu made the decision happily and then led General towards the gate of the mall.
Since Gu Chen got out of the car in a hurry, the car was parked on the ground outside the mall. Jian Sangyu urged Gu Chen to turn on the air-conditioner the moment she got into the car. She had been feeling extremely hot after walking the short distance between the gate and the car. Jian Sangyu truly missed the country house of her grandparents whenever summer came. It was located not so far away from the city, but it was much colder there.
Gu Chen started the car yet did not start to drive instantly. Seeing Jian Sangyu leaning so closely to the air-conditioner, he stretched out his hand to pull Jian Sangyu away from the air-conditioner and fastened her to the chair.
“Sit well. You will get sunstroke leaning so close to the cool air.” Gu Chen scolded Jian Sangyu and then said to her, “Give me your phone.”
Jian Sangyu heard the words and instantly pressed it under her bottom. Then she shook her head to Gu Chen seriously and said attentively, “I have already admitted my mistake and you must not think about punishing me for eating ice cream.”
“That is not it.” Gu Chen moved his fingers. “Give it to me, or I will get it myself.”
“What do you want my phone for? Five minutes, and then you must give it back to me.” She would not be strong enough to beat him if he really went to fetch it himself. He had locked the door and she had nowhere to run. Also, she truly had no bargaining chip when her accounts were locked.
But Jian Sangyu was thinking that after she went home, she would make a fingerprint lock and password on the phone. The reason why Gu Chen managed to get her this time was only because she had been too lazy to make a security password before.
“Five minutes.” Gu Chen nodded and promised an exact time to Jian Sangyu.
Gu Chen was a trustworthy person in Jian Sangyu’s eyes, so she pulled the phone away from her bottom and gave it to Gu Chen.
Gu Chen had always been true to his words.
After Jian Sangyu took over the phone, Gu Chen felt the phone in his hands and glanced at Jian Sangyu. Then he opened the contact list and typed in Gu. Unexpected, the first thing that popped out was a contact named Bastard Gu.
Gu Chen dialed this number and a few seconds later, Gu Chen’s phone rang and Jian Sangyu immediately covered her face with it.
“Are you childish or not, Jian Sangyu?” Gu Chen snorted and hung up the phone. Then he clicked the ‘editing button’, deleted Bastard, and typed in his name Chen before deleting it again and replacing it with another word. Then he clicked the ‘save button’, quit out of Contacts and returned the phone to Jian Sangyu.
