Jian Sangyu admitted that the moment ice-cream entered her mouth, she felt as if she were surrounded by happiness.
But when she was about to pay with her cell-phone and got reminded that because of too many mistakes in entering her passwords, her phone had been locked and that she had to visit the bank to unlock the account, Jian Sangyu felt despair coming down on her.
She did not have to ask to know that Gu Chen must have locked her account purposefully, and if she tried entering the passwords too many times, the paying function would be locked.
Jian Sangyu had to admit that when Gu Chen wanted to stop her from doing anything, he could do anything to stop her.
She was not as smart as Gu Chen, who was cunning and tricky!
When Jian Sangyu cried out that she was going to divorce Gu Chen, the cashier girl got startled and Gu Chen’s face sank instantly.
“Well, sorry, the Civil Affairs Office is not available on Saturday.” The cashier girl added softly and then said, “Two cups of vanilla ice cream, 30 yuan in total, cash or card?”
Jian Sangyu did not speak as she stared at Gu Chen. Her wallet had been taken away by Gu Chen and she still had no access to that. And her accounts on her phone were locked too whilst she still asked if they were paying with cash or card?
She was about to burst out and asked if they could pay by being shameless!
In that way, Gu Chen did have something to pay her!
“How did you and General get here?” Gu Chen asked.
“Didi tax from Wechat wallet!” Jian Sangyu rolled her eyes and snarled. “Haven’t paid that either!”
If she had paid the bill directly after she got out of the car, she would not have been embarrassed by him at this moment.
“What did I tell you this morning?” Gu Chen sounded cold.
Jian Sangyu pursed and answered, “Don’t remember.”
Gu Chen raised her eyebrows and nodded. “Alright, then stay here and think until you remember what I told you. Then you can call me and ask me to pay the bill.”
Gu Chen was about to turn around after saying that word, and Jian Sangyu suddenly gave up.
“No, no, please don’t! I remember what you told me! I swear that this is really the last time for me to eat ice cream when I am on my period! I swear! If I ever break my promise again, I will lose 5 kilos within one month!” Gu Chen had her hands tightly clenched to Gu Chen, showing a face of pity to him. “And I just took two bites, just two! I left the rest to General!”
General barked and wagged his tail when he heard his name being mentioned by Jian Sangyu.
Jian Sangyu added, “Did you hear that? General agrees with me too! He barked!” General must be feeling very confused at this moment…
“Do you know what mistake you have committed?” Gu Chen softened his voice when he saw the face clinging against his arm. “One more time, then there will be consequences.”
“I get it!” Jian Sangyu answered as she was thinking that even if she had no idea what the consequence was, she had to reply positively.
“And, do not mention divorcing me all the time.” Having said the words, Gu Chen added, “Release your hands.”
Jian Sangyu looked up at him and refused to move, looking just like a rat who was afraid that her food would be taken away. Gu Chen felt his eyebrows and said with a tone of helplessness, “How would I get the wallet if you hold me so tightly?”
Jian Sangyu laughed and released Gu Chen, showing a face to him as if she were Gu Chen’s servant.
