To Be With You Forever - Chapter 53

Honestly speaking, Jian Sangyu was not very sure how the General had offended Chief Gu.

Could it have been that this man spotted them sharing the chips this morning and he got annoyed?

Otherwise, was he trying to force General to die with him when he decided to walk the dog under such hot weather?

“What is wrong?” Gu Chen grabbed an outfit from the wardrobe and tossed it back to her. “Get changed, let’s go and walk General.”

“…” Seeing the outfit Gu Chen had tossed to her, Jian Sangyu suspected that not only General, but also she had offended him.

It was an outfit of a short-sleeve t-shirt, long pants for an afternoon in the capital. He was definitely trying to kill her.

Could it have been because she sneaked an ice cream for her sweet teeth?

Could it have been because she had sneaked the candy?

So that he came up with such a vicious idea to punish her?

“Hurry up.” Gu Chen urged her as he watched Jian Sangyu staring at him with clothes in his hands.

“I am not going.” Jian Sangyu tossed the clothes aside. She herself did not even have any idea of when she left the outfit here. So considerate of Gu Chen to have kept this outfit for her!

Jian Sangyu was about to lie back down on the bed after she turned him down, but what she had not expected was that Gu Chen suddenly threw himself down upon her, stripped her dress off and violently forced the other outfit upon her.

When she was finally changed, she was carried off the bed by Gu Chen, flushing with anger and embarrassment.

“Gu Chen, you are bullying me!” Jian Sangyu scolded at Gu Chen with a finger pointing at him. Her finger was shivering with her fury.

“Yes, I am.” Gu Chen admitted Jian Sangyu’s accusation without hesitation and asked, “Are you going downstairs yourself or should I carry you?”

Jian Sangyu was about to protest when Gu Chen bent down and tried to scoop her up. Frightened, she said instantly, “I will walk myself!”

She would be totally humiliated if she was carried downstairs and seen by the older people of the family.

Gu Chen nodded with satisfaction when he heard that Jian Sangyu would walk by herself. He took hold of Jian Sangyu’s wrist and led her downstairs.

“General.” Gu Chen called out to the General who was asleep in the corner on his stomach, refusing to let go of Jian Sangyu’s wrist.

Hearing that Gu Chen was calling out to him, General wagged his tail lazily, not intending to get up at all.

“We are going out!” Gu Chen waved the rope in his hands to General.

The first reaction General had was to stand up out of excitement. But after two steps, he ran back to his corner after he saw the weather outside the window. Apparently, he had no interest in going out with Gu Chen.

“General is not going!” Jian Sangyu chuckled, “Then we do not have to…”

Before she could say anything more, Jian Sangyu saw Gu Chen walking towards General with her in his hands, put the rope over General who was totally frightened, and then with her in one hand and rope in the other, he dragged both of them out of the door with his incomparable might.

Jian Sangyu and General were both distressed. They looked at each other and followed Gu Chen obediently behind. What Jian Sangyu could hear was the conversation the other family members had in the living room.

“Young people nowadays are full of energy.” Gu Yang glanced at the sun outside the window as he had his son in arms. “What does the dog think when they have to take a walk on such a hot day?”

“Is Uncle going to take Aunt for the training?”The boy asked with confusion.

“My pretty and tender grand daughter-in-law has to suffer.” Grandpa Gu felt his heart and head aching at this moment. He was not going to admit to anyone that he brought up Gu Chen.
