“Exactly! I am going to be a superstar!” Jian Sangyu took a step ahead of Mina and pushed the office door open, then threw herself down onto the office chair and crossed her legs. Then, she tapped the desk made of solid wood. “I am going to be a superstar who is known by every household in this world.”
Mina inhaled, then rushed to Jian Sangyu as she felt Jian Sangyu’s head. “You are not having a fever, are you?”
“I am not joking and I am not having a fever.” Jian Sangyu brushed away Mina’s hand impatiently. “Do you think I am so unknown that I can’t be a superstar?”
Mina felt the tip of her nose and shook her head. “As a pianist? I do think that making you famous is quite easy, based on your condition. You can participate in some international contests, or show up at some grand galas. Then you can hire some media groups to create some breaking news, then you will be extremely well-known. You already gained your fame when you were little, except that you disappeared in your field two years ago. The genius of piano… it has been your title since you were little!”
Mina was not just making a compliment just to please her good friend. Jian Sangyu was good looking, had a beautiful figure and was a graduate from a very prestigious university. Most importantly, she was quite knowledgeable and skilled; she had been getting many grand prizes from playing piano since she was little and Jian Sangyu herself couldn’t have possibly remembered how many trophies she had gained in total.
Mina had been admiring Jian Sangyu since she was little. In the large room of Jian Sangyu’s, there was a shelf that was filled with all the trophies and certificates she had received.
Nowadays, even a slightly good looking athlete could become a superstar, and Jian Sangyu could become a superstar without much effort considering her own qualities, Mina thought.
Jian Sangyu shook her head and said in a very serious tone. “I have made up my mind that I will be an actress! Being a pianist is just too limited and difficult. Only people who care about piano would care about me. What I want is to become an actress who is known by everyone.”
Mian was again shocked. She thought that Jian Sangyu in front of her looked exactly like a new person, who was completely different from the girl she had known for the past decade.
“I never knew that you could be so ambitious. Are you aiming at becoming a movie queen?” Mina massaged Jian Sangyu’s face. “Look at your face, you are good looking enough just to be a trophy actress.”
“A movie queen? Can I make my name known to everyone if I become a movie queen? If that is the case, I will be a movie queen!” Jian Sangyu replied in such a serious tone that she didn’t sound like she was joking at all.
The way she behaved made Mina serious too. She sized up Jian Sangyu and asked her an even more important and serious question. “Does Brother Gu Chen know about this? Does your family know?”
Mina didn’t think that the Jian Family would approve of this idea, let alone Gu Chen.
“Gu Chen said that I should do whatever I want last night, and that is exactly what I want to do. Well, he has approved my proposal anyway.” Jian Sangyu smiled slyly. But when she thought of the Jian Family, she let out a deep sigh. “I am going to be an actress even if the Jian Family doesn’t approve of my idea. No one is going to stop me.”
Mina truly wanted to praise Jian Sangyu for being bold, yet when she thought of those family affairs happening to the Jian Family, Mina also thought that it might be a wonderful thing if Jian Sangyu could fight for a dream she had.
After all, Jian Jiayue was a TV hostess and she was throwing herself out into public too. So being publicized should not be an issue anyways.
That Jian Jiayue became a hostess was a result of money. Family Jian spent a lot of money and used many contacts to get her this position, otherwise Jian Jiayue would only be a minor person in the Logistics Division.
