Third Master Jiang’s Absolute Darling - Chapter 32

He just wanted her to leave after having breakfast. Why did she run here to pack up!

“Didn’t you tell me not to come back?” Gu Xiang grumbled. “Of course I am taking my things with me, I can’t leave them here, right!”

Jiang Chi realized that Gu Xiang had a bad temper.

He looked at her and had to lower his tone. “I just said a few words about you and you are moving out already? Then what about my Grandpa?”

He was used to flaring up at others. He had never met someone who dared to flare up at him!

Gu Xiang answered, “He is your Grandpa, not mine. How is it my problem?”

Speaking of this, Gu Xiang thought of Grandpa Jiang and felt rather guilty. Although she had not known him for long, Grandpa was very kind. Gu Xiang’s grandpa had passed away early and Grandpa Jiang gave her a warm feeling that she had not felt in a long time.

Jiang Chi said, “Then what about your family? I heard from Old Du that the Meng family is in a bad state now. Are you going to ignore your family as well?”

He did not know that Gu Xiang was unhappy at the moment because of her family.

Hearing Jiang Chi’s words, Gu Xiang did not utter a word. She glared at him and put everything into her luggage, then dragged it out.

Jiang Chi called out, “Gu Xiang.”

“Don’t stop me!” Gu Xiang said.

Seeing that she was so determined like a bull, Jiang Chi was very helpless. “Fine, I’m in the wrong! I shouldn’t have told you to eat! You just don’t understand my kindness! It’s fine if you don’t want to eat! Hope you don’t die of hunger.”

Gu Xiang stopped and looked at Jiang Chi. Jiang Chi stared at her as if he were stunned by her. He did not look as fierce as before. Someone like Gu Xiang could only be persuaded nicely. If you spoke nicely to her, she would speak nicely to you as well! If you were harsh, she could flip the whole house around.

Seeing that Jiang Chi was no longer as forceful as he was before, her attitude improved quite a bit. “Didn’t you say that you wanted to control me? Didn’t you say that there is no one that you cannot control?”

Jiang Chi felt a headache and replied, “Look at yourself, who can control you! I can’t be bothered to! In the future, if you refuse to eat, it has nothing to do with me. Okay?”

After Jiang Chi said that, he was impressed with himself as well. He must be crazy to care about her affairs. Getting her to stay in his house was already enough trouble.

Gu Xiang did not utter a word. Jiang Chi stretched out his arm and dragged her luggage back. He put her things back and told Gu Xian, “Go on. You can leave now. Get on with your work. As long as you remember to come back at night.”

Having said that, he felt wrong again and changed his words. “If you are not happy, you don’t have to come back. But we are married and this is your home. I hope you understand that.”

He pushed her out of the room and wanted her to leave. Gu Xiang was in a bad mood but after being coaxed like that, her mood improved a bit.

She said, “I’m hungry now. I want to eat before I go.”

He let her leave and yet she no longer wanted to do so.

Jiang Chi said, “Sure, whatever.”

F*cking hell, he felt like he had married an ancestor!

Gu Xiang sat in the chair by the dining table and ate the breakfast that the helper had prepared for her. Jiang Chi had already finished his meal and he went to his room to put on a jacket before coming out. Then, he picked up his phone to make a phone call.

The call was from home. He picked up. “I’m not free tonight.”

Old Du said, “Your Mom is back to see Madam. Otherwise, you can let Madam come in your place tonight.”

Old Du knew that Jiang Chi was busy with work. Usually, he would not care about matters at home unless it was a big issue. But Jiang Chi and Gu Xiang were married and these things could not be avoided. Jiang Chi’s mother had heard about it and specially took a trip down to take a look at her daughter-in-law.
