Gu Xiang glanced at Xia Wenxuan. He had said that he wanted to leave yet he kept looking at them. Then, she asked, “Why did you come here to look for me?”
She felt that Jiang Chi was quite an interesting person. Previously, he said that he disliked trouble. Now it didn’t seem like he did!
She was just having her lunch and yet he came to see her unannounced.
Jiang Chi was calm. He stretched out his arm and placed it on her forehead. Gu Xiang was stunned. His hand was rather cool but his palm was faintly warm. It made her feel at ease.
After checking her body temperature, he said helplessly, “I told you to wait for me at home but you just can’t stay put. Why must you insist on going out?”
Gu Xiang’s hand trembled a little. He had clearly touched her forehead but she felt like he had touched her heart.
She answered, “I left something in the car so I came here to pick it up.”
“Why did Xia Wenxuan come to look for you?” His voice was deep and low. “Are you both on very good terms?”
Gu Xiang said, “He is Bai Wei’s boyfriend. He wants to patch up his relationship with Bai Wei so he came to look for me.”
Jiang Chi said, “Let’s go.”
“Where to?” Gu Xiang was confused.
Jiang Chi answered, “Why? Don’t you want to go home yet?”

“Something else?” Bai Wei couldn’t imagine what reason Xia Wenxuan would still have to come looking for her.
She replied, “Speak up!”
Xia Wenxuan said, “I saw Gu Xiang and Jiang Chi together. What is her relationship with Jiang Chi?”
