As he spoke, he appeared very regretful. He was close to kneeling in front of Bai Wei.
Gu Xiang had gone to the hospital yesterday and heard people discussing Xia Wenxuan’s affair. She had learned that he had been punished by the hospital and his future seemed bleak. If she had not known this, she would have believed that his love for Bai Wei was sincere.

Now Xia Wenxuan suspected that Gu Xiang had instigated their break up. After all, Bai Wei was not such a decisive person.

“I did it on impulse,” Xia Wenxuan said. “Furthermore, that woman was the one who seduced me. Other men would have done the same. I merely made a mistake that every other man would make.”
“Bullsh*t,” Gu Xiang said. “Scumbags will always be scumbags. Don’t try to drag other men down with you. If you need someone to intercede with Bai Wei for you, you found the wrong person! Even if Bai Wei wants to get back together with you, I would advise her to think twice.”
Xia Wenxuan said, “We have known each other for such a long time. Why must you do this?”
Gu Xiang said, “You should take responsibility.”
Xia Wenxuan said, “A woman like you lacks empathy. No wonder you are still single.”
Speechless, he took a look at Gu Xiang before leaving.
Gu Xiang was quiet. What was so f*cking wrong with being single! You must have looked for me because you wanted to insult me, right?
Just as she was cursing him internally, she saw Jiang Chi getting out of his car parked at the side of the road. When she looked at him alone, she did not find him very handsome. However, he looked especially attractive in a crowd.
