The Illusion Ring was just a mission item and had no conditions attached to it. It also had great attributes, but what was most unbelievable was its special effects. As long as there had been any contact with any NPC, one could change their physical appearance into said NPC.
Chen Bing’s mission was to help save the lady chief of the Treasure Box Clan. However, Lu Ke and his gang knew that it was someone from Black Crow Island who snatched their clan leader away. As for who, they had no idea.
Lu Ke had once sent people to Black Crow Island, however, they were chased out before they even had the chance to get in the city. Some of them were even beaten up badly.
After killing 29 Master level monsters and getting the mission at the 30th treasure box where the mission was not clear… Under normal circumstances, this mission to “Save Osina” was certainly not easy.
However, Chen Bing had the Shadow of Slime, and discerned Lu Ke’s disguise at the very beginning, and obtained the Illusion Ring. No other player had been successful in doing so. His mission difficulty was greatly decreased.
Now Chen Bing only needed to track the whereabouts of Osina and rescue her out of the city.
However, he only had 3 days. Chen Bing did not dare let his guard down, or else he would suffer terribly if he failed.
Such a mission must have a great reward!

After leaving Lu Ke, Chen Bing returned to the beach where his ship was anchored.
In “Evolution Island,” ships were an essential item. Ships could be robbed away, but only if the player was there too. As long as the player left their ship, the ship turned invisible after 3 minutes, and would only reappear when the player returned.
However, this setting was dependent on the size of the boats. Large-sized boats were not applicable to this setting.
Following the direction of the compass, Chen Bing moved towards Black Crow Island.
After 3 hours, Chen Bing safely sailed through the seas and reached Black Crow Island.
Black Crow Island was the largest island in the region. Around it, there were several islands big and small, and they had monsters with varying levels.
There was a large city on Black Crow Island, and players could buy equipment in the city.
That is why many players flocked to Black Crow Island after finding out they spawned near it.
At Black Crow Island, they could receive all kinds of missions and buy a full set of gear, helping them to be capable to fight on themselves
As Chen Bing docked in the port of Black Crow Island, large numbers of players were coming in and out.
Even though Chen Bing was alone, nobody engaged in battle with Chen Bing.
“Buying high-quality fur! Minerals! Even better if there are high-level outfits!”
“Buying middle-level Regenerative Potions and herbs!”
“Recruiting elite players, priority given to members who have healing skills!”

It was busy at the port, as if it was a small trading market.
“Evolution Island” was a game that was about killing one another. Most players were still in the early phases and they had not reached the phase where they would kill each other.
There were people selling in the ports too. Having 1000 silver coins on him, Chen Bing was considered to be rich.
However, he took a few glances and continued moving towards Black Crow City without even stopping after realizing those were just basic items.
If there was actually anything good, it would be sold out already, considering the number of guilds and players there were in this area.
Black Crow City was not far from the port. It was only a few minutes’ walk.
Upon leaving the port, Chen Bing saw Black Crow City from afar, which was surrounded by stones.
The walls were greyish-white, battered by the sun and wind. On top of the walls, Chen Bing could see the black crows forming rows on the city walls, their eyes looking at the players which were moving to and from the city.
“So many crows. It really is Black Crow City after all,” Chen Bing said to himself.
If not for the large volume of players, it would have been an eerie town.
There were guards with black armor at the city doors, but they were not stopping anyone who was entering the city.
After passing through the city doors, he officially reached Black Crow City.
Black Crow City was built in the mountains, and the city center was at the highest point of the city. The architecture there was beautiful, and influential people in the city all lived in that area.
Looking around, the smaller and older buildings were where the peasants lived.
However, it was already much better compared to the wooden cottages in Ogar Village.
Chen Bing knew what he had to do. He walked on the stone path for a while and walked in front of a beggar.
If one wanted to receive information about Black Crow City, they would need to find the beggars, as they knew things that many people did not know.
Of course, they would not give out the information for free. The rarer the information, the higher the price.
As he walked in front of the beggar, Chen Bing did not say anything. Instead, he placed 10 silver coins in the beggar’s bowl.
“Dear adventurer, what do you wish to know?”
The old beggar looked at Chen Bing and put the coins away.
“I want to know the locations of the alchemists of Black Crow Island and their attitudes.”
Chen Bing got straight to the point.
He wanted to know about Osina too, but he still had the time and decided not to risk it.
Just asking about the alchemists would be fine for the moment, and he decided to ask more after he explored more of Black Crow City.
“Do you want to find the alchemist for missions, or do you want to learn alchemy from them? Hm, it has nothing to do with me, but I can tell you that there are seven alchemists in the city, but six of them will not meet anyone at the moment. They have been lost for three to four days and if you are looking for an alchemist urgently, only old man Popa is available right now. Popa has been looking for adventurers these past few days, but it seems that he has gathered enough people. However, if you are willing to give out 100 silver coins, I can help arrange you in as one of the adventurers. I have told you the facts, but it still is up to you to grab the chance.”
The old beggar gave it some thought, then answered Chen Bing’s question.
“Bring me there.”
Chen Bing gave the old man 100 silver coins without any hesitation.
100 silver coins was a large sum, but he did not have much time to waste.
He needed time more than he needed silver coins.
If the beggar dared to lie to him, it would be the end of him.
The old beggar brought Chen Bing to an extravagant manor. He whispered to the guards of the manor and the guard nodded towards Chen Bing.
“The timing is perfect. You will be able to find Popa after following the guard into the manor.”
“Follow me.” The guard brought Chen Bing and walked across the grass of the manor and came to an underground room.
There were a few players in the room. The players looked at Chen Bing as he walked in.
Chen Bing was shocked to realize that somebody he knew was there.
