The Witch and Gretel - Chapter 11

“I think I’m going to die of pain. What should I do?”

“What kind of lizard is that? Throw your arm away because it might hurt.”

Zeta looked at the lost owner’s arm that fell to the ground. The entire arm had been rapidly frozen. Seeing that the condition does not spread to the floor, the freezing effect seems to be over.

“Katarina did a great job. It is a substance that continues to summon ice from the source until the creature freezes completely. I don’t listen to recovery or invalidation magic.” Katarina sighed and raised her arm, which had become frozen meat.

“You can’t put this back on, can you?”

“You don’t have to do that?”

When Zeta saw Katarina, who was crying, she floated a lump of light from her hand. The lump of light soon turned into a boomerang shape after only a large backpack. When the shape was properly trimmed, the light darkened and returned to Zeta’s hand.

“It’s always amazing.”

“Surely.

Zeta put a new arm on her shoulder, which was exactly like Katarina’s original arm, and then wrapped a bandaged suit around her shoulder. The new arm seemed a little longer than the original one, but it was back in balance by the time Katarina got up. Katarina admired Zeta’s cloning magic, which perfectly reproduced nail art at the tip of her fingernails.

“Tell me later if it tickles or hurts.”

“I don’t think so. I know Zeta the best.”

It has just been made, but it doesn’t interfere with movement at all. Katarina opened her mouth, dusting her hands and pants.

“You’re not welcome after all this fuss. We should say there’s no one here, right?”

“Once a man is.”

Alpha first hardened the metal water by melting it on the wall where the gun that annoyed them popped out. Katarina summoned zombies to the magic team and took the lead, and the three witches followed them and plated the ceiling, floor and walls with steel. She encountered several traps before reaching the door, but there was nothing the three could not handle.

Beyond the door was an office as clean and tidy as a model house. The three witches thought of prison before the model house. White wall, white ceiling, white floor, white desk, white chair, white computer…All the furniture was arranged in a row without a hitch, and all the desks were lined with the same kinds of office supplies, the same quantities.

Alpha twisted his lips when he saw ballpoint pens lined up on the desk.

“Psybies….”

Katarina swept the monitor with her second finger. There is some dust on it. If it were someone else, they would only ask what the problem is, but it is ridiculous for these people, the “guardians of order,” who would have originally been the owners of this office.

“It must have been a long time since you ran away after all your business.”

Thanks to you, I’ll get off work quickly. Still, the mission is not completely over.

“I’m really stressed out right now. Can I break all of this down when I get there?”

“Will it work…”

Katarina and Zeta turned on the computer, shaking their heads at the constant grumbling Alpha. Naturally, the computer hard drive and drawer were empty. Anyway, I’m going to leave them behind while they’re running away, so should I drop some information?

This does not mean that there is no income at all. You must have known the identity and location of the suspicious intruder, and soon the investigation team will arrive to retrieve and study the weapons used in the trap, and find out when they fled.

It’s annoying that there may be guardians of hostile order somewhere in New York, but it’s not bad for an opponent of this mission. This is because the field team’s investigation mission ends quickly because it is so well organized. Katarina, who was able to leave the office on time, hummed and now walked leisurely in the safe hallway.

“Ah…”

In the middle of the hallway was an object that was once a precious part of her. She lifted her frozen arm in a sentimental mood.

Although there was little mana, Katarina was also a powerful witch. She was enough to replace someone from the combat team. She decided to give her arm, who has been working hard for decades, a fitting gift.
