The Vampire’s Love for Mankind - Chapter 32

While I was still in a daze, Ansir kissed me.

He took my lips without hesitation and sucked hard.

I couldn’t help but shiver as my eyes widened. At an extremely close distance, my vision was slightly unfocused, tangled with his heated gaze.

I felt like I was in a dream.

The kiss that Ansir pressed against my lips brought with it the heat of his breath. Sometimes he kissed me lightly, sometimes he took me in his mouth. My lips and tongue were numb from the sucking, and the sounds of his breath mingled.

His eyelashes lowered, but when he lifted them, his blood-jade eyes darkened, and he sucked harder, making me cross between reality and dreams.

Ansir seemed to have learned his lesson from the first two times.. This time the kiss was unusual, with a particularly deadly allure. As a result, I forgot to resist and instead kissed him deeper and deeper.

I almost forgot myself and wrapped my arms around his neck, my lips and teeth tangling with his, desperate for something from him.

As if sensing that he’d gotten his way, Ansir pressed harder against my back, as if he wanted to press me into his body. His hot body teased my nerves even more wildly, and the more I kissed him, the deeper I fell into it like a drowning man who had seized his only salvation.

Although my rationality kept reminding me that something was wrong!

But there was no choice. He seemed to have a magic that was hard to resist and escape.

For a moment, the room was so quiet that only the sound of the dryer running and the sound of Ansir and I kissing could be heard. An ambiguous and scorching atmosphere filled the room.

At this moment, there was a sudden banging on the door. I was so frightened that my body trembled. I finally regained my consciousness.

Ansir’s eyes flashed with irritation, his dark red eyes lighting up as he stared fiercely at the door.

Instinctively, I grabbed his collar and whispered, “Don’t be rash.”

As soon as the voice left my mouth, I realized I was kind of acting like a spoiled brat.

And Ansir looked down at me, a teasing smile on his lips.

A servant’s voice came from outside the door. “Miss Cecily, I heard a huge commotion in your room downstairs. What’s wrong? Did you fall or break something? Don’t use the dryer if you can’t fix it. What if there’s a fire?”

My palms were sweaty, but I maintained a calm expression. “I’m fine. I just accidentally knocked over a chair.”

But the servant was obviously skeptical of my response. “Miss Cecily, what are you doing in there? I thought I heard you talking to someone just now.”

“I was just on the phone,” I argued. “I’m really fine.”

Then I winked at Ansir, hoping he’d get wise to leave through the skylight and pretend nothing had happened.

But Ansir was pressing me down with a wicked grin, admiring the nervous, panicked look on my face, and opening his mouth like he was about to shout.

Startled, I almost instinctively grabbed his collar and pulled him close. I aimed my lips at his and kissed him fiercely.

Satisfied, he stroked the back of my head and licked my lips again playfully.

The banging on the door sounded like it was knocking on my heart. I was afraid that the servants outside would see the ambiguous posture between Ansir and me. If that happened, I wouldn’t be able to explain myself.

I wished it was all just a nightmare, so that when I opened by closed eyes, I would be lying on the large, comfortable bed with a soft, dry cup.

However, the fact that Ansir had his eyes closed and was engrossed in the kiss, and the servants outside the door were constantly knocking on the door, reminded me that this was really happening.

My lack of focus made Ansir open his eyes in dissatisfaction. His burning gaze made my heart tremble slightly. I thought he would be angry and I would receive a deeper kiss as punishment.

Unexpectedly, in the next second, I was pulled into Ansir’s arms, lifted into the air with him, and rushed out through the skylight.

Huge black wings spread out from Ansir’s back, noble and mysterious, like a god on earth. After being stunned for a moment, I subconsciously looked down at the open skylight.

The servant found the gardener at home and used a tool to pry open the door. He rushed inside the moment we left.

“Miss Cecily, we will not allow you to…” The servant stopped mid-sentence with the gardener.

The room was empty except for the dryer, which was still working diligently. There was no sign of me.

At this moment, the servant inadvertently glanced up. From the open skylight, she could probably only see Ansir’s unfolded pair of enormous black wings flying through the night sky.

I heard her scream. “Ahhh! Miss Cecily was abducted by a monster!”

Ansir pursed his lips in dissatisfaction. “Monster? What’s with that old fellow’s gaze? I really want to gouge out her eyes.”

I hugged him tightly. “Don’t say such horrible things!”

Although I wasn’t afraid of heights, I was scared out of my wits when I was in the air without any safety measures! He even said such inhumane words. I was afraid that he would throw me down on the spot.

But Ansir just leaned in and whispered seductively into my ear, “If you’re scared, hold tight.”

“Rogue!”
