Chu You accepted the friend request invitation sent by Lin Luoer.

It was already 11 pm. Why wasn’t she resting? Chu You glanced at the real time, and it was already very late.

As soon as the thought passed through Chu You’s mind, the system settings popped out.

“I want to enter sleep mode.”

“Sleep mode activated, deep neuropathic connection initiating…”

In fact, those who owned game cabin facilities (including the supreme version) should not use the Sleep Mode frequently. This was because there were no known restrictions on this type of technology, hence a special reminder to those who purchased game cabin facilities was that one should rest naturally unless absolutely necessary.

“Okay then, you all can continue your talking. I am going offline to sleep,” said the female student.

“Sure, go then. I’m already asleep.”

Female student: …

Chu You continued to slay monsters and practice to level up. He had already patronized all 5 major sectors, yet he was unable to comprehend why there weren’t any elite leaders to be found here.

He must have made a mistake in the way he walked.

“Chu You?” A message was uploaded onto the messenger. Chu You’s body stopped moving in the forest.

He opened the other person’s message, and a voice came through.

Listening to this strange yet familiar voice, Chu You became silent, to express his condolences for Lin Luoer in his previous life.

A short while later, Chu You regained his senses.

“I’m here, haven’t seen you for such a long time,” Chu You said as he glanced at the surrounding environment. He decided to explore further in the direction of the hill top. That was the only Level 5 area that Chu You had never explored before.

“We still haven’t seen each other before, have we?”

As he listened to Lin Luoer’s words, he observed the geographical terrain.

Chu You thought of how to raise funds for a while before asking, “How’s it going?”

“Just like that.” Lin Luoer was at the lakeside. As a priest in her early stages, she only had one skill which was healing. She had to use her wooden stick to slay the monsters, making it extremely difficult to level up as an amateur. Most of the time, priests who were unable to form a group with others could only depend on completing missions to level up slowly.

From time to time, other players would pass by behind Lin Luoer’s back. So often, they were in such a frenzy that they did not pay attention to this beautiful back of Lin Luoer.

Looking at Chu You’s profile photo, she realized that he had already reached level 4, yet she remained at level 0. Lin Luoer sat on the grass patch and gazed at the serene lake dreamily.

At a certain point in time during her second year of tertiary education, she almost dialed Chu You’s phone number, hoping that he would be able to help her a little. But she knew Chu You’s character. Moreover, her personal problems were too huge an affair, and the amount of money she needed was not a small sum. Hence, even though Chu You was extremely wealthy because he had inherited his parents’ wealth, financially speaking, Lin Luoer felt that Chu You’s parents must have been extremely stringent in teaching him. Hence, he may not have been able to help her.

But what Lin Luoer and all the other college students did not know was that when Chu You was in his first year, his parents had already passed.

As such, in the end, Lin Luoer slowly put down her phone. Their relationship had not been very cordial in the first place. During college times, she was cold in the way she treated princely Chu You.

At that moment, a harvestable plant had refreshed and appeared beside Lin Luoer. As such, she stood up and started to harvest it. Harvesting could only add a little experience, and attempting to level up just by harvesting was equivalent to dreaming of the impossible. But at the very least, having some experience was better than having none at all. Maybe, she thought, there was the possibility that she could go on the path of a living profession.

Something was about to happen!

Chu You realized that there seemingly appeared to be a cave within the dense forest at the top of the mountain. As such, he quickly activated the running mode and sprinted forward.

“Since your level is so low, why don’t you come over and join me? I can help you level up,” Chu You said through the messenger to Lin Luoer as he continued running.

Shortly after, Chu You arrived at a cave which had been slightly covered up by dense weeds. Chu You pushed aside the weeds and a black cave appeared in front of Chu You. A gust of cold wind came from the cave. The cave was not big, rather it was extremely small. One had to bend down in order to enter the opening.

Just based on the look of the cave, even female players would choose not to go in, much more the ordinary male players.

Chu You was thrilled. Judging by its looks, this was truly a cave, which meant there definitely were going to be elites residing inside. It was even possible that there was going to be a Level 5 Outfield BOSS inside.

An Outfield BOSS was different from an Instance Dungeon BOSS. Usually, an Outfield BOSS was more powerful and scary. The gear that an Outfield Boss left behind would tend to be better than those left behind by Instance Dungeon Boss of the same level. The experience that one could gain would also be pretty great.

Chu You took a glance at the surrounding environment, before he crouched and slowly entered into the cave.

Lin Luoer felt a little tempted. After having played a few hours of this new game, she realized that the way one advanced and leveled up in Heaven was much different from ordinary computer games. It was much more real and brutal. As a priest in her early stage, without a partner to depend on, it was very difficult for her to level up.

“Where are you?”

Very quickly, Chu You replied, “I’m in Wangshan City Liuying Village.” The voice that came through seemed to be followed by an echo. Could it be that Chu You was inside a cave?

From her map, Lin Luoer searched for the geographical location of the place that Chu You had mentioned. She realized that she was pretty far from him. Fortunately, both of them were still in Dayan Country and had not crossed the national borders.

She chose her destination and the conclusion was that she had to run from her current position for 7 hours to reach the destination.

Lin Luoer couldn’t help but raise her eyebrow.

A bat flew past Chu You swiftly and left the cave.

He couldn’t see anything clearly inside. Chu You felt like the terrain was extending downwards. As such, he opened his Space Bag. Seeing that there was a torch within it, he took it out.

The torch automatically lit up once it had been taken out. Holding the torch in one hand, and clutching his training sword in the other, he bent his body and slowly inched himself downwards.

There was completely no need to worry that the torch’s light would be extinguished all of a sudden because it was divine fire. The natural environment here could not extinguish the player’s torch light.

Not long after, the light of the torch illuminated a silhouette in front. It was the enormous body of a snake, which appeared to be gliding forward slowly.

It was just right that Chu You stopped moving at that movement, and locked his attention on the target.

Reticulated Python, Level 4, One star elite, Species: Boss level.

Damn! What a great catch. The first monster he met with here was a Boss level species!

He looked at the narrow and compact terrain. It was not advantageous for the utilization of his skill. Not only was the height of the cave very low, it was also very narrow.

At that moment, Chu You realized that the python was gliding slowly towards his direction.

It seemed as if it had smelled the presence of a human.

Snakes were unable to see physical objects. They relied on their senses instead.

“So do I come over?” At that moment, Lin Luoer’s voice came through the messenger.

Chu You’s bent his body even lower. He bent both his legs and squatted down. “Come quickly, I’m waiting for you,” Chu You said as he kept a close look over the python in front.

Monsters of the Boss level had a much wider detection radius than ordinary elites. When the reticulated python sensed Chu You’s presence truly, it stopped moving immediately.

Thereafter, it made a sudden movement, propelling itself towards Chu You at an extremely high speed.

Seeing the overwhelming attack of the opponent, Chu You started to retreat naturally.

The reticulated python opened it’s hideous mouth, and swiftly arrived in front of Chu You.

At the moment that Chu You unleashed his sword, a damage of -32 had been inflicted.

The enormous snake was not affected by the attack at all and immediately wrapped itself around Chu You’s body and contracted it’s strong muscles violently.

The twine of death!

-20, -20. -20. Damage was being inflicted every 2 seconds.

A strong stench came and overwhelmed Chu You. He was unable to move at all, because the python had twined itself around him. The production of the game was so real that the scene at that moment was somewhat daunting.

“Chu You, I’m really going to come over. Don’t you bluff to me.” Lin Luoer sounded extremely serious.

Chu You’s entire face had been flushed red as the python had curled itself so tightly around him. Chu You could not do anything but watch his own health drop by -20 continuously.

“I’m really not bluffing to you!”

-20,-20.

 “What’s happening to you?”

-20.

“Nothing, come quickly. Be my personal nanny.” After having suffered 5 continuous damages without being able to move at all, the reticulated python released its grip over Chu You. But at the moment it released its grip, the reticulated python opened its mouth and tried to bite Chu You.

Chu You quickly dodged and struck with his sword at the python before he turned and started to retreat.

The python hissed as it tried to catch up with Chu You. Chu You enabled running mode, although he purposely controlled his speed. When he was within the attack radius of the python and when the python suddenly gilded forward to bite him, Chu You either increased his speed or tilted his body, preventing him from being attacked by the python.

When such a circumstance arose, Chu You would counterattack the python.

With a single jump, Chu You ran out of the cave. He took a quick glance behind and realized that the other party had not lost it’s hatred for him. The huge body of the snake was approaching quickly.

What a huge worm… Immediately, he put the torch in his hand into his Space Bag.

Instantly, the terrain expanded and Chu You’s fighting experience was unleashed immediately.

When the Boss level python was left with only half its original health, it attempted to use it’s death curl again. With it’s big mouth, it propelled itself forward, and curled it’s body in an attempt to twine itself around Chu You’s body.

Again! Chu You was enraged as he quickly dodged the attack.

At that moment, the snake’s tail lashed out at Chu You’s legs. If Chu You had been hit by the attack, Chu You’s body would have fallen down. Then, yet another death curl would occur, because at the very least Chu You had dodged the python’s skill attack. Chu You jumped into the air, and landed with one leg on the snake’s body before striking the snake with his sword.

-48. It was a critical attack.

At that moment, blood was already starting to flow out of the python’s mouth. Evidently, it was nearing its death. Chu You struck again.

Not long after, the Boss level python crooked it’s head and fell onto the ground. It had been completely killed by Chu You.

A piece of gear popped out of the snake’s body and landed on the ground. It was emitting spots of green light. Chu You realized that it was a handguard and immediately walked over to pick it up.

The elegant snake skin handguard was a Green Vessel Level item. Attack power +5, Defence +3, Health +3, Critical hit damage +6%, attack speed +2. Only characters that had reached level 5 could be equipped with it.

Wow, such a good item. Chu You was overjoyed. The gear left behind by outfield elites was indeed of the highest grade.

He kept the good stuff and used a bandage. He sat on the floor and started to replenish his health and regain his stamina.

Not long after, Chu You stood up and entered that same cave again.

Shortly after, Chu You had reached the place where he had found the Boss level. Thereafter, Chu You realized that the terrain had gradually become wider, and the height of the space had increased such that he could erect his body within it.
