The Superstar Happened To Find Me - Chapter 27

Only, the pre-installed camera on the “fruit-branded” phone took rather blurry photos.

Yu Jiaojiao was so deeply invested in taking photos that she was unable to stop.

When Tangtang realized that Mo Heng had finished taking the photo, she struggled out of Gu Tingwei’s grasp and tottered towards Mo Heng’s leg. Out of curiosity, she stood on her tippy toes to peek at Mo Heng’s phone.

Mo Heng bent down with a smile and let Tangtang look at it.

“Eh?” The little girl crooked her head as she held the phone. When she saw herself in the image, she pointed it out to Mo Heng. “Tangtang.”

Mo Heng hadn’t seen his little darling for an entire morning, and he’d missed her. He tenderly pinched her bouncy cheeks. “It’s you!”

Tangtang returned the phone to Mo Heng. Wrapping her arms around his neck, she acted coyly and coquettishly in his arms. “Big Brother… Photo…”

Mo Heng thought that the little kid wanted more pictures taken of herself out of vanity, so he aimed the phone at her. However, she shifted his hand and aimed it at the two of them. Only then did she nod her head contentedly. “Photo.”

Mo Heng felt that Tangtang was teasing him!

Otherwise, why would he be so elated? This was even sweeter than eating candy!

In the beginning, when he had first picked up the mermaid and brought her home, it had been a huge inconvenience. What had happened was simply too unbelievable!

Now—

Things were really good!

Mo Heng scooped Tangtang up at once and carried her with one hand. Using his free hand, he took quite a few photos of the two of them before finally letting go.

The intimacy between this brother and sister pair was seen by a certain young boy, who felt a bit aggrieved.

When Yu Jiaojiao saw their familial affection, she was full of admiration. She grabbed her phone and approached Gu Tingwei as well. “Wei Wei, Mommy hasn’t taken a selfie with you…”

Gu Tingwei said, “Mom, send me the photo you took just now.”

Yu Jiaojiao: “Ah? Oh, okay.”

After she said this, she could only scroll through her gallery silently before sending the group photo she’d taken just now to Gu Tingwei.

She watched as Gu Tingwei unscrupulously dug out his phone from his pocket and changed his originally black background picture to the photo of him and Tangtang.

Yu Jiaojiao was a little disappointed.

Gu Tingwei had never set her image as his background picture!

Never mind, never mind. Gu Tingwei had already taken his first step towards change.

She shouldn’t set her expectations too high.

Hallelujah, thank God for the appearance of the adorable Tangtang. She was practically the light in Yu Jiaojiao’s life.

Yu Jiaojiao happily whipped out her black gold card and said, “Son, go and buy Tangtang and yourself something nice to eat! Just buy whatever you want!”

Gu Tingwei furrowed his brows. “Mom, this is a cafeteria. Your card can’t be used here.”

He took out his personal cafeteria card from his bag. “Just use mine instead!”

Yu Jiaojiao failed at being an imposing CEO. Stumbling, she awkwardly withdrew her hand.

Mo Heng asked Gu Tingwei apologetically, “Tingwei, it’s not convenient for me to appear in the cafeteria. Could you please take Tangtang to pick out something to eat and bring it over here?”

Gu Tingwei nodded his head like a tiny adult. “Of course I can.”

Yu Jiaojiao hastily added, “I’ll help you.”

Gu Tingwei declined. “Mom, can you guarantee that no one in the cafeteria will recognize you?”

When all was said and done, Yu Jiaojiao couldn’t lose to Mo Heng, who was standing behind her. She hurriedly fidgeted with her curls. “Ahem… Your mom’s still kind of popular!”

Gu Tingwei called out, “Tangtang, let’s go…”

Mo Heng set Tangtang down. “Tangtang, buy whatever you can finish. You can buy what you like, but you have to eat all of it. Do you understand?”

Tangtang nodded her head in partial understanding. Then, she walked over to Gu Tingwei and held his hand of her own accord.

Very good. Now, Tangtang belonged exclusively to him. No one would snatch her from him!

Gu Tingwei’s gloomy mood was immediately lifted.

Holding her soft little hand, he brought Tangtang to the cafeteria.
