Xia Wei’an knew that those people were afraid of her, and she was also aware that she had indeed gone too far previously!

Every time she came to the residence, the maids would prepare a sumptuous spread for her, but she never once sat down to eat properly. She would either deliberately pick on the food, throw them everywhere, or smash all the plates with the excuse that the food tasted horrid. One time, she even spilled hot soup and ended up scalding herself and the others. Di Xingchen finally flared up, and they got into a heated argument.

After the quarrel, she smashed all the valuable things in the room, thinking that since Di Xingchen was rich and had bought her with a large sum of money, she would break his things until he became poor!

However, the truth was that the items that she smashed would be replaced with things that were even more valuable the next time she visited!

Seeing how terrified of her the people in the room were, she suddenly felt that she deserved it! She knew that it would be impossible to make them change their opinion of her immediately, but she would try her best to change her attitude. Hence, she nodded at Meng.

Meng was a little surprised, but she dared not let her guard down. Instead, she stayed by the side and only felt at ease after they finished the meal.

After dinner, Xia Wei’an went straight back to her room. Although she was Di Xingchen’s fiancée, they did not share a bedroom.

When she locked herself in the bathroom and looked at herself in the mirror to see that she was wearing a hipster dress, she suddenly felt like she had woken up from a dream and snapped back to reality. She had really been reborn!

Thinking about her messed-up life in her previous lifetime, she didn’t feel that melancholic. Since God had given her the chance to start over again, she would lead an interesting life in this lifetime!

In Di Xingchen’s bedroom.

“Young Master, I’ve checked. Young Madam didn’t see anyone special today. She stayed in school all day and hasn’t been anywhere else.”

Hearing the report from Assistant Ji who was on the other end of the line, Di Xingchen frowned.

The person who had always hated him and never spoken to him nicely suddenly changed drastically. Not only did she listen to his instructions and waited for him obediently, she even ate her meals without throwing a tantrum. That was puzzling to him.

He hung up the phone, and before he knew it, there was a knock on the door.

A trace of displeasure flashed in his eyes. He remembered instructing them long ago that no one was allowed to step foot onto the second floor without his permission. Yet, someone was brazenly knocking on his door now. ‘Are those people turning a deaf ear to my words?’

Xia Wei’an was standing at the door, and when she noticed that there hadn’t been a response even after she knocked on the door, she decided to just enter on her own. As soon as she opened the door, she saw Di Xingchen who was walking over and was about to open the door. She immediately put on a sweet smile.

She had just taken a shower and was now wearing pink pajamas, holding a pig plush doll in her arms. Her damp, waist-length hair draped across her back, and her face was rid of all the messy, colorful makeup. With bright, supple, and glowing skin, she looked just like a clean and pretty flower, extremely pleasing to the eye.

Xia Wei’an watched as Di Xingchen looked surprised and then stunned. She knew that her bare-faced beauty would definitely make one’s eyes light up when they saw her.

However, she could not express her conceitedness. Hence, she stopped smiling and put on a pitiful expression instead. She asked softly, “I’m a little scared, can I sleep with you tonight?”
