It looks like she would have to take matters into her own hands. She must eat and grow up faster, then she could make money and move to a better house.
After Lu Lu finished her plate, she was carried to the sofa by aunty Liu, who turned on the TV and put the remote control in Lu Lu’s hand.
Lu Lu looked at the buttons on the remote and couldn’t figure it out, so she tossed it to the side. She then remembered how her brother just talked to the tv and it played what he wanted.
Staring at the TV, she shouted,” I want to watch cartoons!”
“Sorry, I did not catch that.”
“Cartoons!”
“Searching for Chinese cigarettes for you…”
“Teletubbies!”
“Searching for a rice cooker for you, please wait…”
“Not a rice cooker…Teletubbies!”
“Searching for a light bulb for you, please wait……”
“Oh, stupid, no!”
“Sorry, I did not catch that!”
Lu Lu jumped off the couch in frustration.
The TV was so stupid.
How could there be such a stupid thing?
“Sorry, I didn’t catch what you said. Call me when you need anything.”
“You’re so stupid.”
Aunty Liu, who was cleaning the kitchen, heard Lu Lu’s voice and came to the living room. Finding that Lu Lu’s face so red after messing with the TV’s built AI, she let out a chuckle.
Picking up the remote control and flipping to the cartoon channel she asked, “What do you want to watch?”
“Teletubbies.”
Aunty Liu played Teletubbies and calmed Lu Lu down.
After watching two episodes, Lu Lu talked about the plot with her. Aunty Liu then paused the TV and took out toys for Lu Lu. Aunt Liu was very gentle, especially when playing with Lu Lu. Lu Lu liked this nanny very much.
They were so into their game that they didn’t realize that it started raining.
Meanwhile, at another mansion…
Gu Shengming looked at the heavy rain. He wanted to call his driver, but he remembered that he sent his driver to pick up a client at the airport.
He must drive himself.
He was about to go to the garage with the car keys, but his son Gu Enyu stopped in front of him.
Looking at the car keys in his father’s hand, Gu Enyu noticed that his driver uncle wasn’t with him.
You must not let dad drive on a rainy day.
Holding out his arms, he stopped Gu Shengming. “Dad, Lu Lu says you can’t drive on a rainy day.”
“Who is Lu Lu?” Gu Shengming frowned as he thought for a second. “You’re listening to the words of a stranger?”
“Dad, just don’t drive today, okay?”
“Gu Enyu, get out of my way!”
Gu Shengming was normally very serious and scary so Gu Enyu is afraid of him, however, at that moment he was more afraid of Lu Lui’s words. His father might be in danger.
He held Gu Shengming tightly and thought to himself that even if dad insisted on driving, he would not give up. Gu Shengming felt that his son’s sudden rebellious nature was odd. He was baffled.
But there was an important meeting in the afternoon, and he didn’t have time to waste arguing. “Okay, I’ll call a driving service. Let go.”
Gu Enyu was afraid that his father would suddenly change his mind, so he still refused to let go. He only let go after he saw the car arriving at his doorstep.
He hoped that what Lu Lu said wasn’t true.
With an angry hmph, Gu Shengming thought about what that little kid said when he sat in his car. What were her parents teaching her, for her to be spouting nonsense at such a young age.
Just then, the GPS said: “Re-planning the route for you……”
Looking intently, he found that the driver took a longer route instead.
Noticing Gu Shengming’s eyes from the rearview mirror, the driver was afraid of being misunderstood and explained, “Sir, when I came over the road was blocked because of an accident, so I had to take a longer route.”
“What car accident?”
“Just 10 minutes ago, a truck collided with a small car. It sent the car straight into the lake, so they’re probably still looking for it.”
Gu Shengming’s face turned pale as he thought about the little girl’s warning.
“Uncle, don’t drive on a rainy day, or you will be hit by a big car and fall into the lake.”
