The Richest Girl Just Started Kindergarten - Chapter 21

Lu Lu has no parents.(1)

As Lu Lu watched Gu Enyu and his dad walk away, she recalled that horrifying memory in her mind. Hopefully Uncle Gu remembered her warning.

Brother En Yu was a good person, and she didn’t want someone she just met to lose their own dad. That would be really sad. She hoped her good luck could help them a bit.

“Lu Lu, it’s time for us to go.” Song He spoke as he returned.

Lu Lu looked at her brother and remembered how mad she was when she fell and how he wasn’t there. Puffing out her cheeks, she angrily asked, “Where did you just go?”

“I went to the bathroom.”

The bathroom stall was close by, and he thought he didn’t need to tell Lu Lu that he’ll come back in 3 minutes. Who would have expected her to know out about this?

“Hmph,” Lu Lu spoke as she stood up tall and used her childish voice.

“Brother, you are not allowed to go to the bathroom without telling someone!”

Lu Lu used her human memories and spouted, “The teacher says going to the washroom without permission is bad.”

Huh?

“Whatever, I’m not a child.” Song He spread out his arms, showing that he didn’t care.

Confused, Lu Lu stared at Song He’s head. Her brother was so much taller than her. She was only as tall as his waist. He really wasn’t a kid anymore.

But as an adult, didn’t her big brother feel shame misbehaving more than a kid? How did her dragon-like brother become so shameless after he became a human?

Lu Lu’s little head was turning. Song He didn’t know what she was thinking, but he figured it wasn’t going to be something good anyways.

“Let’s go, we still have to go shopping.” He said as he reached out to grab Lu Lu’s hand.

“Brother, where are we going?”

“Buying something.”

“What are we buying?”

“Buying you new clothes.”

Clothes…… Lu Lu mind immediately thought about clothes in every style and fashion, but she still thought a skirt was the prettiest.

“Big brother, are we buying a skirt?” She asked excitedly.

“Mhm.”

Girls wore skirts all the time during the summer, it’s pretty, refreshing, and convenient, too.

“Really?”
“Of course.”

Lu Lu excitedly sped up after hearing her brother’s answer.

At first, she didn’t want to leave the play place when her brother told her to because she hadn’t played enough, but now she was going to buy a new skirt. Compared with the play place, a new skirt was more important.

Lu Lu remembered the bad sister’s skirt. The bad woman bought a lot of beautiful dresses for the bad sister. Her sister dressed like a princess every day, but she would never buy one for Lu Lu. She made her wear old skirts the bad sister didn’t want anymore. The bows on the old skirt were all ripped off and they didn’t look pretty at all.

“Brother, are you a snail?””

Song He was being dragged forward by Lu Lu. He originally thought that Lu Lu wouldn’t be able to catch up, so he walked slower, but now he was the one being left behind.

So Song He walked faster and Lu Lu quickly lagged behind.

The movement speed of a child was truly hard to understand, and so Song He simply picked Lu Lu up and carried her in his arms.

Lu Lu tightly hugged her brother’s neck. She smiled and revealed a row of white teeth.

She knew her brother treated her the best.

She remembered the teacher saying that complimenting people is a polite act. Brother took her to eat delicious food, and now he’s taking her shopping for a new skirt. She needed to compliment him, so that way he would treat her well in the future. So Lu Lu grabbed her brother’s ear and whispered, “Brother, you look very handsome.”

Song He clearly heard Lu Lu. He had heard people call him “handsome” countless times, but there was something different about hearing it from a 3 year old.

When Lu Lu saw her brother’s lack of response, she wondered if maybe her brother didn’t catch what she was saying. And so she pulled on his ear again and shouted, “Brother, you are very handsome!”

Although Lu Lu’s voice was quiet, Song He still felt his eardrums hurting.

Of course, for Song He, the pain didn’t matter, what mattered was that he was letting a child touch his ear! Did no one tell her not to anger the tiger?

“Lu Lu, don’t touch my ears!”

“Well… fine.”

When Lu Lu let go and placed her hands back onto his neck, Song He was truly speechless. He felt that all of his patience in this life had been spent on Lu Lu.
