Song He was stunned that Lu Lu ordered a glass of wine. Was the food on the menu not attractive enough? Out of everything she could have ordered, why did she want red wine? Why was a children’s restaurant selling wine anyways?
Song He looked at the waiter, confused.
“Often, when guests bring their children to dinner, they also want to have a drink,” the waiter explained.
Song He cringed. Turns out that there were still these alcoholic parents.
But when he thought about it, every time he had dinner with his parents, they always had a cup of wine as well.
Lu Lu’s table had a few rows of dolls: angel dolls, demon dolls, and dolls with little patches of grass on their heads. They looked cute standing in a row. She seemed to be energetic, as she kept playing with the dolls the moment she sat down.
Song He looked at Lu Lu and asked, “Do you know what you ordered?”
Hearing her brother, Lu Lu turned away from the dolls. “Something delicious, of course.”
When it came to delicious food, her eyes fell on the next table, and she watched a little boy dig up the head of a little white rabbit with a spoon and put it in his mouth. He looked like he enjoyed it, too.
Lu Lu was stunned.
The bunny was so cute, how could he eat it?!
After the boy quickly scarfed down the palm-sized little white rabbit, he immediately began to eat the second one. Lu Lu stared at the fat brother who was enjoying the food.
It looked like it was delicious.
Now she wanted to eat bunnies too, but she doesn’t know if it was expensive. Could she replace the food she just ordered with a bunny? But the bunny was so small.
As Lu Lu looked down at her little belly, she felt that one wouldn’t be enough to fill her appetite. This time she wouldn’t eat the bunny, but she would come back after she made enough money.
“Rabbit, you have to wait for me,” Lu Lu said in her heart.
Lu Lu may be greedy, but she wasn’t a child that didn’t know her limits. It was good enough that she was with her brother. As for good food, that would have to wait until she had more money.
Lu Lu gave herself a thumbs up for being sensible. But she remembered that she was saving so much money for her brother, he must be a screw up!
Song He thought that something must be wrong with his brain, letting a three-year-old order whatever she wanted. He removed the wine and looked at the menu, ordering everything that looked good.
Children’s meals were served in small portions, so it didn’t matter anyways.
Song He proudly ordered all the things he liked and didn’t even pay attention to the price.
The waiter warmly reminded him: “Sir, I think these dishes are enough for the two of you. We encourage kids to not to order more than they could eat.”
Lu Lu quickly added, “Brother, we can only eat the cheapest ones.”
“Why?”
“Because we are poor! I ordered all the cheap ones.”
When Lu Lu looked over their order, she realized her 99 RMB had been crossed out and her brother ordered a bunch of other expensive items. She angrily looked at her brother and was about to object, but the waiter had already left with the ticket.
Song He looked at Lu Lu making a cute face and finally realized, she didn’t even know what wine was, she just ordered it because it was cheap.
Did this kid think he was broke or something?
Alright, if she thinks he’s poor he’s poor.
“Brother, you spend so much money!”
Lu Lu crossed her arms, she was pissed that she knew to budget more than her brother. Tch, big brother was too difficult to control.
“Then don’t eat.” Song He said as he looked at the disappointed Lu Lu.
Her small head swung away from him; she decided to give her brother a lesson.
“Fine, I won’t eat.”
However, getting hungry after smelling the scent of food always existed. She saw the waiter put the plates of food on the table and her stomach made a sound protesting her decision.
Song awesomely handed over a spoon and asked her, ” Do you want to eat?”
“Hm.” Lu Lu wouldn’t lose to a loser brother.
Just then, the waiter put down a plate that had a rabbit that looked identical to the one she saw the boy eat. The bunny gave off an irresistible vanilla scent. Touching her hungry belly, she drooled over the delicious food. She was hungry.
So hungry.
