“Should we go to the nearby water park and have some fun? There are kids your age there, so you’ll make new friends and have a good time with them.”
Little Treasure dutifully nodded. “Okay.”
She requested that the driver pick them up before sunset. They ate, drank, and played while they were there.
Zhan Qi was already at home when they arrived, much to Fu Qing’s surprise. He was sitting at the dining table, with a lavish feast spread out before him.

Fu Qing flushed and averted his gaze. “I had dinner outside with Little Treasure, and I didn’t tell you because I figured you’d be home late tonight.”
As he observed the two of them interact, Zhan Qi became irritated.
“It looks like you are so fond of Little Treasure.”
“Well, Little Treasure is extremely cute and smart,” Fu Qing said genuinely, without pausing to think about her response.
“Are you ignoring me now that you have him?”
“What?”
