The Greatest Extra in history - Chapter 8

Elder Filde’s third disciple, Desia Helly, collapsed on the cold floor and she was unable to move.

So did the elders. They stood up from the stands, stiffened and could not even blink. Their eyes were only rolling around as if crazy.

Their eyes were alternating between Desia, who fell on the battlefield, and the fifth prince, the cause of Desia’s defeat.

“We didn’t see anything wrong, did we?”

“Mee, I can’t believe it…….”

Raymond opened his mouth with a calm look at the noisy elders.

“Is this enough?”

It’s short, but the meaning has been fully conveyed to the elders. Someone nodded and Raymond then turned to Desia without saying a word.

Desia looked up with difficulty. And she lowered her head again without energy.

Desia is a talented wizard who pursues magical truth.

“Elder Filde, is this enough?”

Soon all the eyes were directed to a single place.

He could hardly shut his open mouth with his eyes wide open as if he could not believe the current situation.

“Fifth Prince, what the hell is this…….”

“I don’t think I need to hear a good answer.”

He turned away from Filde with a short talk to himself.

He left the field with the eyes of the elders in one elder.

When the fifth prince disappeared, the elder’s attention was directed to Lisefield, who is said to have trained the five princes not long ago.

“Lisefield, what’s going on?”

“Lord Lesefield, please explain.”

Elders crowded in. However, the Blue Tower, Lisefield Dior, did not answer any questions.

* * *

“I’ve issued an order to the elders. The order from the owner has never been taken lightly, no one will report anything to the Third Prince even Filde.” Lisefield Dior, spoke in a calm voice. He thought he had perfect control of the blue tower.

“The problem is the imperial knights who came to the royal court in the name of escorting the Fifth prince.”

“I know, it’ll probably leak out. To be exact, the information will eventually be given to Aloken.”

“You’re making a pretty specific guess.”

Raymond then gave him a brief account of what had happened.

Listening to the brief explanation for five minutes, Lisefield nodded with a stiff face.

“That’s what happened.”

“When I went to the palace after five years, I couldn’t live quietly.”

Even if he had not encountered the third prince that day, the report would have gone.

The Imperial Palace is surrounded by the eyes and ears of the princes competing for the succession of the throne. It was their daily routine to watch each other.

“I’ve been a jerk in the past, but there’s no reason to continue being so.”

If he continues to live in a mess, he will die at the end of the first volume when the story unfolds.

‘I’m sorry, but I don’t intend to die, so I have to survive.’

“Fifth prince, Your Grace…….”

Lisefield, who did not know the details of the situation, continued to correct his assessment of the fifth prince, feeling different from the rumors.

“Elder Filde’s gonna be quiet for a while, right?”

When asked by Raymond, Lifield grinned and opened his mouth.

“You can’t say anything because you’ve seen it with your own eyes.”

“I’m glad then.”

He replied with a nod.

“Are you going back to the Imperial Mansion now?”

“That’s right. There’s work to be done.”

“Come to the blue tower from time to time.”

“I’m thinking of visiting often even if they try to stop me.”

He said with a smile on his face. Lifield looked a little surprised.

“I’m a little interested in magic.”

Lisefield smiled at the answer, removing his surprised look.

“I’m glad.”

He didn’t want to miss out on the fifth prince who had excellent magical talents.

He wanted to watch him rise to a high level, even if he could not make him a disciple. This was the most honest feeling of Lisefield now.

* * *

Raymond is back at the Fifth Imperial Palace. Then, an Imperial knight secretly headed to the palace of the third Prince.

Those who guarded the palace opened the way for the imperial knight as if he was allowed to.

As he came deep inside, a shadow dressed in black popped out of the dark.

“This way.”

As the imperial knight nodded.

The two entered the lounge of the Third Prince Palace.

“Your Majesty the Third Prince will be here soon.”

“Okay.”

The wait was not long.

The third prince, Aloken, opened the drawing room door and appeared. Looking at the two guards accompanying him, the royal knight unknowingly swallowed dry saliva.

It was because they felt a very sharp and refined livelihood. It felt different from the usual three princes’ minions.

“I’ll report.”

The imperial article delivered exactly what he saw and heard. But right after hearing the story, Aloken’s expression was not good.

“Are you asking me to believe that?”

His voice was filled with distrust.

“Third Prince, Your Grace! What kind of safety would I lie about?”

The imperial knight was unjust. The third prince still showed a cold response, although they complained of unfairness with blood vomiting.

“He defeated Desia Helly, who is close to the mid-level wizard, in a week? It doesn’t make sense!”

It can be explained that his Junior-level wizard’s ability has been hidden so far, but it was hard to believe that he defeated someone close to the mid-level wizard in the battle.

“No matter how much I think about it, it doesn’t make sense…….”

“I swear I’m not lying!”

The eyes of the third princes touched the imperial knight. He didn’t think he was lying, but he couldn’t believe it easily.

“For now, I understand. Go away.”

“Yes, Your Grace the Third Prince.”

The imperial knight bowed his head and left the drawing room with courtesy. The three princes looked at the place where he stayed for a long time and opened his mouth with a calm expression.

“Captain.”

“Yes, Your Grace the Third Prince. Give your order.”

“Call your brother. You’ll understand if you ask me to taste it one more time before you start serving.”

“I’ll do that.”

That night, one of the third prince guards secretly escaped from the Imperial City.

* * *

‘You’ll be up against the Fifth Prince.’ said her teacher, Filde.

Is there any reason to fight the famous prince?’

She was always following her teacher, but this time she didn’t quite understand.

‘I don’t have a hobby of trampling on weak people.’

She knew that the fifth prince had no talent for either sword or magic.

‘I felt Mana’s flow from the Fifth Prince. He’s probably hiding the power of a junior wizard.’

‘The fifth prince is a Junior-level wizard?’

It was an unexpected answer. Despite a slight change in the perception of the fifth prince, his title as a fool was not easily broken.

‘Go and defeat the Fifth Prince, and we must stand behind the Third Prince.’

‘… Junior-level wizards have the least qualifications.’

She thought 10 minutes would be enough. However, it was her who collapsed in 10 minutes.

“What do you think?”

She thought it was a mess. However, there was no mana at the center of the bomb blasting with the blue glow.

“This is the power of a junior-level wizard……?”

She wanted to hit her teacher, but she couldn’t put strength in her body.

Eventually, she lost her mind.

When she regained consciousness, the first thing she did was to find a teacher who didn’t even come to visit her.

He was walking toward the elevator connected to the top floor, which has the main office of Blue Tower

“Miss Desia Helly?”

As soon as she stood in front of the elevator directly connected to the top floor, a Matap knight approached and asked a question.

Desia nodded positively, but she looked nervous about being restricted from entering.

Looking at her, the Matap knight opened his mouth with a faint smile.

“The Lord of the Blue Tower is waiting.”

“The Lord of the Blue Tower is waiting for me?”

It was a different development than expected. Desia asked with her eyes round.

The Matap knight nodded with a calm look and guided her with a lift, but there was no explanation.

The Matap knight accompanied her to the front of the main office .

“We’re here.”

After saying so, he backed away. Desia knocked on the door with a nervous look.

There was a voice of a Lisefield who said it was okay to come inside. She opened the door vigorously.

“Welcome, Miss Desia.”

Lisefield, the blue tower owner, slowly rose from his chair and welcomed her.

‘As the Fifth Prince said.’

Raymond said Desia would be here in a few days. When he first heard it, Lisefield never imagined that his prediction would become true.

He was a little surprised, but it couldn’t be seen on his face since he had lived for a long time. He was good at hiding his feelings.

“Did you know I was coming?”

“Your Majesty the Fifth knows everything.”

“Everything was an act?”

There was no subject, but Lisefield could easily tell who she was talking to.

‘That’s what I also thought.’

The first time I met the fifth princes he was calm and far from being a troublemaker.

When he materialized Mana and gained the spear of sacrifice, I thought all the absurdities so far might be just his acting.

And when the Fifth Prince defeated Desia, who was considered a genius, Lisefield was convinced.

‘He acts as a fool to fool everyone.’

He must have been forced to make a fool of himself to survive the battle for succession to the throne. There was a big difference from the actual situation, but this wha Lisefield thought so.

“Miss Desia.”

“Yes, Lord of the Blue Tower.”

“Do you think that’s important now?

Lisefiled hit the nail on the head. A smile spread around Desia’s mouth.

It wasn’t because of that that she came today.

“It’s not important.”

“Then go ahead and tell me what you need, Miss Desia.”

‘What will she say? Is this what the Fifth Prince expected?

She opened her mouth in light tension.

“Fifth Prince!”

As soon as Raymond finished eating, his vision shook and his body lost strength.

If it weren’t for Alex’s help, he might have collapsed unexpectedly.

“Fifth Prince, are you all right?”

Alex asked carefully. Raymond nodded slowly with a stiff face.

His Mana flow seems to be a little twisted because of the excessive use of the secret transmission of the blue tower.

“I’m fine.”

Raymond shook his hand and roughly answered and headed toward the bedroom. He felt like he had to take a rest and untangle the twisted mana flow today.

When he left the restaurant, three imperial knights followed him.

When he first saw them, he felt reassured, but after he found out that some were the eyes and ears of the three princes, he felt bothered.

“I need to create a secret squad soon.’

The necessity of a secret squad, a direct escort allowed only to the royal family, was what he desperately needed today.

‘I need a single-armed swordmaster.’

He is a high-ranking knight who lost his left arm after being betrayed, and if it is a normal development, he will meet the main character in the second book and grow into a swordmaster.

‘I can do what he wants.’

In other words, there is a bait to attract a single-armed swordmaster.

When Alex was out of the room, Lisefield Dior appeared.

“As Your Majesty the Fifth said, Desia came to you.”

“So what happened?”

“She’ll be be here soon.”

Lisefield disappeared after leaving the words.

knock, knock

“Fifth Prince, may I come in for a moment?”

Alex’s voice was heard with a light knock.

“Come on in.”

“Fifth Prince.”

“Which wizard came to see me?”

“How can I…….”

“It’s not important, bring the wizard here.”

Alex stepped down without adding any more words. When he appeared again, he was with a blonde female wizard in a blue robe.

“Alex, go get some rest.”

“Yes, Your Grace the Fifth.”

Alex left.

“Sit down.”

Raymond recommended that you sit facing Desia, who was staring at him.

She nodded her head small and sat on the sofa rather modestly.

“Why did you come to me?”

“I think you already know.”

He smiled at Desia, who spoke boldly.

As was the case in the royal court, the royal family was well-mannered but not intimidated. He seemed to be the type to say what he wanted to say.
