Lin Huai stepped closer and closer as Zhou Minghu’s eyes turned red; the evil inside him could be felt permeating from his body with increasing intensity. Lin Huai could see that Zhou Minghu actually had the guts to open fire.
When Zhou Minghu was fighting with Zhang Hongdi and Li Guangzhi just now, Lin Huai could see that he was a formidable opponent. His strength was definitely above the Yulan’s Four Tigers and was similar to Li Kandao’s strength. From what Lin Huai had been informed, Zhou Minghu’s power when fighting one-on-one was not that strong but it was clear that he had been concealing his strength all along.
Lin Huai walked closer to him, treading very slowly, but his footsteps were firm and steady. Zhou Minghu’s gun barrel was still pointing directly at Lin Huai’s face and the look in his eyes was getting more frantic; he looked like he would pull the trigger any moment.
There was a deafening silence in the school compound and all the girls were covering their mouth with their hands.
Liu Meiqi was weeping as she shouted out, “No!”
Zhou Minghu asked, “Do you have any last words?”
“No.”
Zhou Minghu continued, “If I had known that you have such wild ambitions, I would’ve given a hand to Zhang Chunlei that time.”
“You’re wrong.”
“I’m wrong?”
“Yes, you’re wrong.” Lin Huai asked, “You think I’m doing all this just to become the Big Boss of the school?”
“Isn’t that so?” Zhou Minghu laughed coldly. “Don’t joke with me. We are all boys, you think I don’t know what you have in mind?”
“You really don’t.” Lin Huai’s eyes were also gleaming with an intention to kill as he asked calmly, “This is a school, a sacred ground for learning, but look how chaotic you turned it?”
Zhou Minghu chuckled and replied, “This must be a joke. You’re putting the blame on me now? I admit I’m not a good person but doesn’t this responsibility fall onto that old principal? If it wasn’t for his compromisation, would the school even be in this state?”
Lin Huai glanced at the principal who was feeling uneasy and looked back to Zhou Minghu and said, “The principal and you have your own responsibilities respectively. If you are merely the Big Boss of the school, perhaps I wouldn’t have wanted to take you down. However, you violated a taboo.”
“What taboo?”
“Drugs!” Lin Huai clenched his teeth and continued, “Do you know how harmful drugs are to us? Do you know how many families have been destroyed by that substance and how many families have been separated because of it? Yet you still came up with the idea of dealing drugs. It was from that moment on that I knew I could not tolerate you!”
Upon hearing so, the students who did not know about this suddenly started babbling.
Zhou Minghu exhaled sharply, but he did not deny it. “So what if I did? I am a fierce and ambitious person, not a saint. I only care about earning money. We will be part of gangs in the future anyway, so why pretend to be kind?”

Zhou Minghu had a look of certainty in his eyes; his murderous aura made everyone tremble and his fingers pulled the trigger. Bang! The gun was fired.
However, Lin Huai’s body suddenly flew forward at this instant and while his body was in mid-air, the dagger in his hand flew out; the dagger was like a meteor as it streaked across the air and dug itself straight into Zhou Minghu’s throat. Zhou Minghu’s eyes opened wide and his hands grabbed onto his throat as he looked at Lin Huai—who was lying on the ground—with disbelief.
Of course, Lin Huai did not die and get shot, but that scene was so perilous and intense that everyone was shocked by it. Liu Meiqi’s body felt weak but Gao Mengchao held onto her.
Gao Mengchao mumbled to herself in shock, “What a superb skill.”
Lin Huai’s reaction was indeed very agile. He managed to dodge a bullet and although this was partly because he had anticipated it, not everyone could mimic his thought process.

Zhou Minghu collapsed to the ground and after a moment of twitching, he did not move anymore.
The whole school fell into silence; it was so quiet that even the sound of everyone’s heartbeat could be heard.
Right at this moment, Pu Chengji suddenly stepped out and yelled, “I can testify that Mr. Huai was only defending himself just now!”
Wu Jun also stood out and shouted, “I can testify!”

Pu Chengji agreed and made the call.

Lin Huai continued loudly, “After this, I will establish my own Red Canes. The girls in the school will still be under Miss Gao’s supervision and I will not interfere with that. Gao Mengchao’s gaze turned cold; although he had just said that her people still belonged to her and he would not interfere with that, he was setting up rules for her and her people now. How was that any different than her having submitted to him?
