After Lin Huai sent Wei Qimian back to the hostel, he was about to turn around and leave when a familiar and charming voice came from behind. “You’re really a lover who is very reluctant to part with her.”
Lin Huai smiled and said, “Are you jealous?”
Lin Huai turned back and looked at Liu Meiqi who was standing behind him as he laid open his hands in helplessness. “Hey, you should be called a bad penny, Liu Meiqi. How is it that you are able to find me wherever I go?”
Liu Meiqi smiled flirtingly. “You’re so famous now so it’s really not that hard to find you.”
Liu Meiqi kept throwing him flirtatious looks, as if trying to seduce him.
Lin Huai laughed. “You didn’t even let me push you onto the bed. I’m not interested anymore. I’m going back to my class.”
“What’s the rush? There’s quite some time left before class starts.”
“Why? You want me to bed you? I’m afraid there isn’t enough time for that, my stamina is pretty good,” Lin Huai said cheekily.
“Ew!” Liu Meiqi was not upset; she just rolled her eyes and said playfully, “I am not the one who wants to meet you today. It’s our Big Boss who wants to meet you.”
“Your Big Boss? Gao Mengchao?”
“Yes, my big sister.”
Lin Huai then laughed. “I’ve met your Big Boss once. She’s pretty and has a good figure. The only unfortunate thing is that she’s evil and I am not interested in this type of woman. What if she accidentally turns me into a eunuch?”
Liu Meiqi spat, and said, “You think my Big Boss would need to take my man from me? She said that she wants to meet with you to talk business.”
“Oh, then let’s have a quick meet up.” Lin Huai’s eyes lit up. He wanted to push for the unification of power for every group in Yulan College; it would be great if he had the chance to meet all the gang leaders of this college. Lin Huai had already given everything a thought; Zhou Minghu must be gotten rid of, whereas Gao Mengchao seemed like a decent person, so she could stay. As for Wu Shanhe, Lin Huai still needed some more time to get to know him better and find out what kind of person he was.
Liu Meiqi walked over and hooked onto Lin Huai’s arm as she smiled adorably and said, “Then let’s go!”
While Liu Meiqi was talking, she even rubbed her chest against Lin Huai’s arm; she was indeed a very seducing little thing.
Lin Huai followed Liu Meiqi to the building of the music department; almost 80 percent of the students who were entering and exiting the place were girls. Lin Huai wondered to himself, why didn’t Wei Qimian register for the music department? If he was a spy here, that feeling would have been so nice.
Liu Meiqi seemed to have seen through him as she chuckled beside him. “Do you want to transfer to our music department? There are many pretty ladies here.”
“I’ll pass,” Lin Huai said. “No matter how pretty they are, my Wei Qimian is still the prettiest.”
She snorted at his statement. “Since when did she become yours? You will belong to me sooner or later!” The two of them had reached the top floor and they went straight to the rooftop.
Gao Mengchao was standing alone on the rooftop and she was wearing a black, skin-tight dress that looked sexy. She had a cigarette in her mouth and her figure gave off an impression of beauty, sexiness, coolness and dominance; it was especially so because of her curvy buttocks.
As soon as she saw Lin Huai arriving arm-in-arm with Liu Meiqi, the cool, pretty lady cracked a smile and said calmly, “The air here is good. We’ll just talk here then.”
“The air here is indeed not bad.” Lin Huai took a deep breath and looked over at Gao Mengchao as he asked, “What do you want to talk to me about?”
Gao Mengchao smiled slightly. “Lin Huai, you’ve only entered Yulan College less than a month ago, yet you’ve already chased away Zhang Chunlei and Xuan Yuzhai, and even the sports major students bow down to you. I must admit that you are the new gang leader of Yulan College. Very well, you are doing great.
Lin Huai smiled and said, “Miss Gao, you’re flattering me.”
“I always speak the truth and I don’t beat around the bush. I am looking for you this time because I have something to discuss with you.”
“Oh?” Lin Huai asked curiously, “What is it?”
Gao Mengchao looked at Lin Huai with a sharp gaze and said ambitiously, “You will be Liu Meiqi’s boyfriend and from now on, we will be a family. We can work together and against the people from the sports major.”
Lin Huai was startled. What in the world? Is this a forced marriage?
Lin Huai could not help but laugh awkwardly as he said, “What is going on? Fairy Qi, are you now using your parents to force me into a marriage?”
Gao Mengchao knitted her brows and said coldly, “This is not considered as a forced marriage. You two are still too young. For the time being, it will just be the two of you staying together.”
“I am sorry, but I refuse!” Lin Huai rejected immediately.
The looks on Gao Mengchao and Liu Meiqi’s faces changed instantly; Liu Meiqi became slightly upset while Gao Mengchao’s expression turned cold.
Gao Mengchao asked calmly, “Why? Although you are popular in the computer science major now, there are still people in the college that will be very glad to get rid of you for good. Your foundation is weak and if you have my support, you will be able to build a strong base of influence. Furthermore, Liu Meiqi is so pretty and is among the most beautiful girls in the school. You would not be getting the short end of the stick no matter how you look at it, so why would you reject my offer?”
Liu Meiqi slowly let go of Lin Huai’s arm and pouted as she asked, “Yeah, how am I not good enough for you?”
Lin Huai shrugged his shoulders and answered, “This has nothing to do with whether you are good enough for me or not. Let’s not talk about whether we have any feelings between us first, we’ll talk about what Miss Gao has just said to me. If the two of us get together and I work with Miss Gao, how is it any different from a political marriage? If we really do so, will you feel comfortable?”
Liu Meiqi was left dumbfounded for a moment before nodding her head sadly as she said, “Fine, he’s right, Big Sister. Even if he agrees to it, it is only because he wants to borrow your influence. I won’t agree with it as well.”

Gao Mengchao continued, “I know that you have a good relationship with Wei Qimian but she is obviously the daughter of a rich and influential family. I don’t even know why she came to this college to study. Do you truly think that her family will accept you? Will they let Wei Qimian be together with a poor student from Yulan College? Liu Meiqi shook her head and said, “Big Sister, I don’t want to be used as a tool for political marriage. Even if I love him, I still don’t want to…”
“Shut your mouth!” Gao Mengchao glared at her with her almond-shaped eyes; her voice was stern and even had a hint of aggression. Liu Meiqi was frightened and shuddered as she quickly shut her mouth.
Lin Huai looked at Gao Mengchao in shock. This woman… Is she the type that dares to kill people? It has never crossed my mind that there would be someone so powerful in a college like this. No wonder she could command most of the girls in the school and they would listen to her every order. This lady’s ferocity definitely tops the Yulan’s Four Tigers!
Gao Mengchao’s almond-shaped eyes were filled with rage but when she turned back to Lin Huai, her eyes softened again as she asked patiently again, “Do you know that you now have a target behind your back among the sports major students now? Don’t assume that you guys have reached a truce, they are just waiting for the opportunity to arrive. Li Kandao will be back to school tomorrow morning. When the time comes, it will be the day for your fates – and yours as well – to be decided.”
Li Kandao is going to be released from the detention centre tomorrow? Lin Huai felt a hint of excitement. What a coincidence since Dao Zi was also coming back the next day, on the same day as Li Kandao; both of them even used knives; this surely was fated.
Gao Mengchao said coldly, “You are still unfamiliar with the terrifying power of the people from the sports major. Zhou Minghu is not easy to deal with. Don’t you dare assume that you have united the students of the computer science major, it’s just a matter of appearance. As a matter of fact, you guys from the computer science major are still scattered around like a plate of loose sand. Furthermore, you guys cannot compete with the strength of the sports major. They have the most students in the entire school, and 90 percent of them are male students. Zhou Minghu has hundreds of followers, what are you going to use against him?”
Lin Huai smiled. “Then we won’t fight. I can just give in and acknowledge his status as the Big Boss of the school, can’t I?’
“Are you pulling my leg?” Gao Mengchao burst out laughing and her laughter was cold. “You have never thought of submitting to him. From your inspection at the field, I could see that you were trying to provoke the people from the sports major. You were just waiting for an excuse to start a fight! Lin Huai, although you are mingling around quite well now, I must say that you are a fool. Furthermore, if you don’t cooperate with me, you will end up a fool whose life is on the line!
Lin Huai laughed. “Even if you are sure that I will lose, do they have the courage to kill me? Don’t forget, this is a school and they are still students.”
“You just don’t understand their level of insanity yet.” Gao Mengchao flicked her cigarette to the ground and stubbed it out with her black leather shoes. She then gazed into the distance and mumbled to herself, “If a group of people fought you and you were beaten to death, will anyone know who the killer was?”
Lin Huai was startled and his body gave an involuntary shiver. So Gao Mengchao had seen the big picture. Since Gao Mengchao had said so, with her familiarity toward those people, could it be that those people really dared to kill?
Gao Mengchao said empathically, “I must admit that you are someone of influence, but people like you tend to be the ones that die earlier. They won’t stop at just beating you up until you end up in a hospital, or chasing you out of this school. On the rooftop of the music major’s building, Lin Huai and Liu Meiqi felt a chill down their spines.
