As Lin Huai was enroute to the canteen, there was a huge group of people following behind him. Other than Lin Huai’s earliest followers, there were also the class leaders that had just pledged loyalty to him. Now, all of these class leaders were mid-level personnel of Lin Huai’s gang. The entire group of people were vast and mighty, and the majestic scene was eye-catching.
A senior with a large brain who had been following behind Lin Huai laughed out loud and said, “Brother Huai, I happened to notice that Brother Di was watching us from afar just now. I am guessing that he must be furious at the example you raised. You are so badass!”
Lin Huai smiled and said, “Don’t worry, he wouldn’t dare to do anything. Furthermore… Are you all satisfied being leaders of such few followers?”
Their eyes all sparkled and lit up when they heard this. Everybody had ambitions. Lin Huai used force to conquer them and instigate their ambitions. In terms of strategy and tactics, these students were novices and not equals of Lin Huai. Back in the past, even when faced with well-known killers that were known for their scheming, Lin Huai could easily circle around and not fall into their traps. Lin Huai lowered his voice and said, “Now is only the start. Wait and see. Not only are we going to become among the four top gangs of the college, we are also going to become the strongest gang. In the future, you all can walk around college without fear.”

Just as they walked into the canteen, they bumped into a few tall and burly sports major students. Their leader was a bald guy. Upon bumping into Lin Huai, he immediately scolded, “F*ck! Do you want to die? Do you know who I am? How dare you bump into me!”
Pu Chengji, who was next to Lin Huai, whispered carefully, “Brother Huai, don’t provoke this guy. His name is Li Ban and everyone addresses him as Mr. Ban. He is the henchman and important fighter of Li Guangzhi, the Furious Tiger. Li Guangzhi is someone who is very protective of his people. Thus, if we offend Li Ban, that would also mean offending Li Guangzhi.”
Although Pu Chengji had lowered his voice, Li Ban could easily guess what Pu Chengji was saying. Thus, his expression suddenly changed and he had a smug look on his face.
Lin Huai smiled and said, “Oh, so you are the famous Mr. Ban!”
Li Ban stuck his chest out and stood tall. He glanced sideway at Lin Huai and said arrogantly, “Oh, I recognize you. You are Lin Huai from the computer science major. How does it feel like to be in the limelight recently? Better be careful when you walk next time. Don’t think that you can offend us from the sports major just because you have conquered your computer science major. In this college, nobody is allowed to offend those from the sports major, do you understand? Brothers, let’s go!”
There were three other tall and burly students following behind him. Just as they planned to leave, Lin Huai suddenly turned around and said with a smile, “Brothers, it’s time for you all to showcase your abilities.”
The various class leaders that had just joined Lin Huai’s gang were rather hesitant. Wu Jun knew that somebody had to take the lead so he led and rushed forward. He punched Li Ban right in the head. Li Ban did not expect that anybody from the computer science major would dare to lay a hand on him. Thus, he was completely defenceless and bore the brunt of the hit. However, he was tall and burly and had a strong body as well. Even after the hit, he only staggered a little and took a step back. Next, he was extremely furious and aimed a punch at Wu Jun.
His fist was bigger than Wu Jun’s. He punched Wu Jun right on the head and Wu Jun staggered two steps back. Although his head felt dizzy, Wu Jun did not back down at all. He leaped forward and continued fighting.
Lin Huai secretly nodded his head. Based on fighting prowess, Wu Jun was the strongest in the computer science major. However, there was still a slight gap between him and powerful fighters from the sports major. However, Wu Jun had an advantage whereby he was courageous enough to fight at any time. Lin Huai regarded this trait very highly. He understood that while it was possible to improve one’s fighting prowess, it was difficult to cause a large change in one’s mental fortitude.
Once Wu Jun took the lead, the rest of the people behind Lin Huai also rushed forward. They each tried to be the first to land punches.
Based on individual fighting prowess, Lin Huai’s henchmen had no advantage at all. However, due to the advantage of numbers, on top of being leaders of their respective classes, very soon, Li Ban and his followers were defeated. After all, Li Ban was the only powerful fighter and the other three of his followers were of a much lower standard. Thus, although Li Ban managed to fend off the attacks, his three followers were beaten down very quickly. That way, everyone focused their attention on Li Ban and very soon, he too was beaten down. Once he was down on the ground, everyone surrounded them and started punching and kicking them.
Lin Huai stood at one side and lit a cigarette. He took a puff and his face looked peaceful. With a surprisingly calm voice, he said, “Until I give the order to stop, nobody is allowed to stop.”
Upon hearing what Lin Huai said, everyone got even more excited with their attacks. As such, the few people from the sports major could only hold their heads and cry out in pain.
Everyone in and outside the canteen was shocked. Countless bystanders were dumbfounded as they witnessed this scene. It was nothing if they beat up an ordinary gang member from the sports major. However, Li Ban was a famous person in the sports major and at the very least had the same status as Zhang Jindong. Therefore, him being beaten up in public was something that nobody could have expected. Through this incident, everyone truly felt the dominance and might of Lin Huai.
He punished Zhang Jindong on his first day at the college. And now, he had moved on to beating up Li Ban. Since many years ago, this was the first time that anyone had dared to frequently lay hands on the people from the sports major!
After a long time, Lin Huai waved his hand and said, “That’s enough, stop now.”
Lin Huai’s henchmen stopped. Then, they moved aside, one after another.
Li Ban and his group of followers were lying on the ground with blood all over their faces. The three followers of Li Ban had eyes filled with anger and fear. Li Ban, on the other hand, was unbending and had a look of pure hatred and resentment. He struggled to get off the ground and wiped the blood off his face. He enunciated, saying, “Lin Huai, my big brother would not let you go!”
Lin Huai smiled and said, “Sure, let him come. By the way…”
With a loud sound, Lin Huai slapped Li Ban at lightning speed and Li Ban was sent flying. Lin Huai said casually, “You don’t have sufficient status to address me by my full name. In the future, you must address me as Brother Huai. Do you understand?”
Li Ban’s head buzzed and by the time he got up again, he kept quiet and did not dare to say another word.
Lin Huai casually said, “Get lost and don’t provoke anyone from the computer science major in the future.”
After that, Lin Huai took the lead and walked into the canteen. Everyone in the canteen quickly lowered their heads and focused on eating. All of them held their breaths. At this point in time, in everyone’s eyes, Lin Huai had risen to be on par with the other three leaders of this college.
The class leaders of the computer science major that were behind Lin Huai were proud and felt a deep sense of satisfaction. Although they used to be leaders in their respective classes, none of them ever thought that they could ever lay hands on anybody from the sports major. Not only that, they also humiliated the sports major students and put them in such a humiliating situation. Even their previous leader Zhang Chunlei wouldn’t dare to do that.
Lin Huai first subdued them with power, then he gave a speech that sparked the ambitions within them. Through the incident just now, he let them take action, hence instigating the ambition deep in their hearts. At the same time, it curb the fear they had toward the sports major. Lin Huai had purposely planned for that fight to occur. Since the beginning, Lin Huai could tell that these people were fearful of the sports major and that fear was deeply embedded within them. Therefore, Lin Huai knew he had to figure out ways to slowly dilute the fear they had. Only then would they eventually be of his assistance in the future.
Upon seeing that Lin Huai was going to order food, all the people in the queue consciously moved aside to make way for him. In a loud voice, Lin Huai said, “Queue and proceed as how things were, you all don’t have to make way for me.”
Those students were puzzled and confused as they stared at Lin Huai with respect and awe. They returned to their position in the queue and Lin Huai was at the end of the queue.
Everyone was dumbfounded. Even the leaders of the computer science major behind Lin Huai were stunned. They thought that it was normal for the other students to make way for Lin Huai. All of them—Zhou Minghu, Wu Shanhe, Gao Mengchao—enjoyed that treatment.
However, Lin Huai then loudly announced, “All of you from the computer science major, listen up. The rules of the college are also my rules. We cannot be bullied by other people, but at the same time, we cannot use our reign to bully others as well.”
Zhou Yuanyuan—who was in the vicinity—put down her chopsticks and whispered to Wei Qimian who was seated at the same table as her. She smiled and said, “Lin Huai as the big boss of this college will be interesting…”
Wei Qimian also chuckled. She fancied Lin Huai when he was like this. He was domineering yet righteous, strong and powerful yet had principles.
Very soon, it was Lin Huai’s turn and he managed to order his food. Wei Qimian and her friends were just about to leave when Lin Huai walked over quickly and said, “Sit with me for a while.”
Wei Qimian said, “But I am done eating!”
Lin Huai said, “That’s why I said sit with me for a while.”
Wei Qimian snorted and said, “You are addicted to being a big boss! You are so domineering!”
However, she still took a seat and had no conflicted feelings toward Lin Huai at all.
There was a smile at the corner of Lin Huai’s mouth. He grinned and said, “In my eyes, you are the big boss.”
“Oh my.” Song Tingting clutched her chest. “I cannot stand this, I cannot stand this. It’s too mushy.”
Zhou Yuanyuan also laughed and said, “Alright, I think the both of us should not third wheel them. Let’s return to our dormitory now. Big Boss Wei, we shall make a move first!”
Lin Huai waved his arms, smiled and said, “See you all in the afternoon.”
Once Zhou Yuanyuan and Song Tingting left, Wei Qimian punched Lin Huai lightly and softly groaned. “You are spouting nonsense again.”
Lin Huai smiled and said, “Since I am your bodyguard, are you not my boss?”
“But even then you shouldn’t say it that way… they will misunderstand.”
“What’s there to be misunderstood? Furthermore…” Lin Huai smiled cheekily and said. “Even if they misunderstand the true meaning, there is also nothing wrong with that.”
“Gosh, all you know is to talk nonsense.” Wei Qimian blushed but deep down in her heart, she felt a warmth.
Lin Huai’s dormitory mates were also aware enough to not come over and disrupt their time alone. Instead, they went and joined the other class leaders and sat at other tables to eat their rice. Thus, Lin Huai and Wei Qimian were alone at their table. Lin Huai suddenly whispered, “Mianmian, tell me, do they think we are dating?”
Wei Qimian snorted and her mind was in a mess. Before she could get angry and say anything, Lin Huai already said seriously, “You cannot talk nonsense. I am a very strict person so if you want to be my girlfriend, there will be a probation period!”
“Gosh! I am not going to stay here with you anymore!”
Wei Qimian stood up and Lin Huai held on to her hand. As their hands came into contact, both of them felt their hearts skip a beat. Wei Qimian’s hands were soft, smooth, and tender. Lin Huai felt a slight ripple in his heart and his heart softened. A deep feeling of affection brewed from deep within his heart.
