Why would the female teacher commit suicide?
Wei Qimian could not understand. After all, the teacher was beloved by everyone. There was nothing special about a beautiful teacher being well liked by male students. However, Pu Yingxue was not only liked by male students but by the female students as well. She was the type of person that was well liked by everyone.
Why would such a female teacher commit suicide out of the blue?
Wei Qimian and Song Tingting looked at each other and rushed into the building. They saw two students who were on their way upstairs. Wei Qimian stopped them and asked, “What is going on? Where is Teacher Pu?”
The male student was from the class next door. He immediately stopped when he realized that his goddess was speaking to him. He could not stop staring at Wei Qimian in disbelief. With a trembling voice, he said, “Second floor… Teacher Pu Yingxue committed suicide in the female toilet on the second floor.”
Wei Qimian rushed upstairs without saying anything else. The male student was still stunned as murmured to himself, “My goddess actually talked to me. My goodness, she actually talked to me.”
The stairway was crowded. But upon noticing Wei Qimian’s presence, everyone shouted right away, “Move aside, move aside, Wei Qimian wishes to pass through.”
Beauty was very powerful. Everyone squeezed and moved aside in order to make way for her. Those that were standing close to the wall were squashed together like pie. Only then, could Wei Qimian and Song Tingting barely make it across. They rushed toward the toilet and were panting by the time they reached there. They saw many girls standing inside the toilet. More students—of both male and female—crowded the area. Lin Huai was also inside the toilet where Pu Yingxue was bleeding profusely from her head. She was in Lin Huai’s arms.
Pu Yingxue had a pale look on her face. Although she was not dead, she could only open her eyes slightly. However, it was obvious that she was terrified. She looked pallid and her body was still trembling from fear. Furthermore, she looked disheveled, giving everyone a rough idea of what happened.
At that point in time, there were two other male students inside the toilet. They were sneaking out of the toilet when Lin Huai lifted his head up and gave them a death stare. Lin Huai gritted his teeth and asked, “What happened?”
“It’s none of my business! It has nothing to do with us!” As the classrooms on the second floor were all for the sophomore seniors from the computer science major, it was obvious that these two students were sophomores as well. When Lin Huai rushed into the toilet, these two students were already inside of the toilet. They looked frightened and Lin Huai knew something was up.
Just then, a few teachers rushed in. They were the teachers that were in charge of the freshmen and sophomores. Hu Zhiqiang was there as well.
Hu Zhiqiang looked at Lin Huai and asked, “What happened?”
Lin Huai took a deep breath and asked, “Isn’t Teacher Pu in charge of the freshmen? Why was she in the toilet on the second floor?”
Hu Zhiqiang replied, “The music teacher in charge of the sophomores is away for two days due to family problems. Teacher Pu was their relief teacher…”
Lin Huai looked at the two male students and said, “Tell me what happened.”
The two of them hesitated. Lin Huai’s gaze was vicious and he said in a cold voice, “If anything happens to Teacher Pu, you all will pay with your life.”
In actuality, Lin Huai was exaggerating. He inspected Pu Yingxue’s condition and noted that she was not critical. She did smash her head hard against the wall. However, she was probably afraid of the pain and did not smash into the wall exceptionally hard.
However, the thought that such a good teacher would be pressured into taking such actions made Lin Huai extremely furious. He could feel the anger growing in his heart, and came close to losing control.
The two male students were shocked and one of them hurriedly said, “It’s not our fault. We did not expect things to turn out this way. All we planned to do was to scare her. Big Lei said this chick was too nosy and we simply wanted to warn her. So, we tried to scare her just now. We said that if she did not comply, we would rape her. As such we warned her just now and did not expect her to take it seriously…”
“Scare her? You think scaring her was enough to give her this disheveled look?” Lin Huai placed Pu Yingxue down, leaning her against the wall. Then, he rushed over to the two boys and slapped them twice, sending them flying out. He smacked them so loudly that the entire stairwell could hear the sound. It was so loud that everyone trembled with fear.
Pu Yingxue hugged her thighs and shivered. She burst out in tears. “If I had not smashed my head into the wall, they would have torn my clothes off…”
Everyone was in shock. How dare these sophomores do such things to a female teacher? It was unbelievable. They were way beyond rebellious!
Even Wei Qimian trembled as she gritted her teeth. “Damn it!”
“You are right! They deserve to be punished!” Lin Huai heard what Wei Qimian said and agreed with her. However, his consensus differed from Wei Qimian’s. Lin Huai meant to punish them with torture, enough to make everyone shudder.
Lin Huai asked, “Tell me! Why did Zhang Chunlei give this order?”
“Not just Big Lei, none of us could stand it.” One of the guys who was slapped got up, whereas the other guy had fainted over. The guy who just got up held his face which was swollen on one side, and said with a trembling voice, “Back then, nobody would care about us during class. This relief music teacher was only supposed to take over for two lessons. Yet, she was nosy and tried to control use. Thus, all of us agreed to prank her. However, we couldn’t control ourselves as she looked very beautiful…”
Bang!
Lin Huai kicked him hard before he could complete his sentence. The student flew backward and blood gushed out of his mouth. He collapsed to the floor and was convulsing.
“Bastard!” Lin Huai’s eyes turned red. Deep down, there was a roaring in his heart. He blamed himself and felt a deep sense of regret. He was in pain and everything was his fault. He reprimanded the teachers for not being responsible about their students. From then on, Pu Yingxue was a lot more responsible and serious in her work. Yet, Lin Huai did not expect that to be the reason for all this trouble!
Lin Huai took a deep breath and looked at Pu Yingxue. She was still in fear. His heart ached and he said with pain, “I will settle this problem that I started!”
His voice was ice cold and had a murderous vibe. Nobody there understood how severe the murderous vibe was, but everyone could not help but get goosebumps.
Wei Qimian ran over and held Lin Huai’s arm. She said, “Lin Huai, the college will handle this type of problem. You cannot take things into your own hands!”
Lin Huai said, “Mianmian, take care of Teacher Pu.”
Wei Qimian looked at Lin Huai and he averted her gaze. However, she could still see the cold, determined, and stubborn look in his eyes. She finally understood that she was never going to stop him once he set his mind on something.
She could only let go of Lin Huai’s arms and sighed. “Alright, I will not stop you. But you must be careful not to go too far. If things spiral out of hand, I will settle it for you!”
“Alright.” Lin Huai walked out of the female toilet and walked toward the first classroom.
Hu Zhiqiang tagged behind and kept asking, “Lin Huai, what are you planning to do?”
“Educate the seniors as to how to be a proper person!” A savage smile could be seen on Lin Huai’s face.
“F*ck you! We’re your senior, so you think you are in the position to educate us?” Five to six male students walked out of the nearest classroom. Their leader had short, golden hair and a pair of big earrings. He looked muscular and glared at Lin Huai.
Lin Huai asked, “What kind of connections do you have with Zhang Chunlei?”
“Zhang Chunlei is my big brother!”
“Alright, I choose you then!” Lin Huai grabbed the head of the muscular guy and smashed it against the wall. He did that a couple of times and loud banging noises could be heard. The muscular guy screamed in pain and blood was all over the wall. The blood dripped onto the floor and he wet his pants from seeing the blood all over the place. He cried and begged for mercy. “Brother, I am sorry!”
Lin Huai let go of his hair and turned around to face the henchmen behind him. He slapped them on their faces and they all flew backward.
Lin Huai quickly rushed into the classroom and shouted, “Where is Zhang Chunlei?”
There weren’t many people in the classroom. Most of them were in the corridor and they were staring at Lin Huai fearfully. Nobody dared to say a word.
Lin Huai gave a cold smile. “Then I will look for him myself!”
Lin Huai walked out of the first classroom of computer science major sophomores and headed for the second classroom.
Hu Zhiqiang roared at Lin Huai. “Lin Huai, are you crazy? Do you want to be expelled? If you continue being this way, I cannot help you!”
Lin Huai kept silent. He was utterly disappointed at the college and was extremely furious at people like Zhang Chunlei. He had to settle things with Zhang Chunlei today so that he would no longer be a threat in the computer science major. That way, incidents that happened to Pu Yingxue would not happen again.
Anyone who wanted to break the law needed the permission of his fist.
At that moment, a couple of sounds could be heard from the corridor. “Where is Zhang Chunlei?”
“Damn it! Zhang Chunlei, get the f*ck out here!”
Lin Huai turned around and looked. Everyone was in shock. Wu Jun, Wu Mengjie, Pu Chengji, Fan Hanning, Zhuang Bifan—they were all behind Lin Huai and were shouting loudly.
Lin Huai was touched and he smiled.
Wu Jun walked over with large strides and said, “Brother Huai, I did not become your follower as early as Pu Chengji did. I also did not have good foresight like him. However, now I truly understand, and I want to be your follower for the days to come. Even if we are not able to beat Zhang Chunlei, as your brothers, we would rather die together!”
“Alright!” Lin Huai gave Wu Jun a pat on the shoulder.
Pu Chengji winked at Lin Huai and said, “I talked to them just now and we all feel the same way!”
Lin Huai knew that although Pu Chengji was incapable in other areas, he was intelligent. Under normal circumstances, Wu Jun and the others would not feel comfortable if he started a war with Zhang Chunlei. However, Pu Chengji played a big role in getting all of their support.
No matter what, he managed to unite the dormitory mates. These few guys that used to be timid losers were now united. They stood tall with pride and gathered the self-esteem that used to be gone.
Lin Huai heroically proclaimed, “We will not only survive but also live well together! From today onward, as long as I am around, the computer science major will be under our control!”
