The Great Trump Card - Chapter 4

Lin Huai grabbed Zhang Chunyu’s fist easily, punching at the bone and joint of Zhang Chunyu’s arm. Zhang Chunyu screamed in agony as Lin Huai kicked him to the ground.

The other three people did not expect that Zhang Chunyu, who was so tall and big, was settled by Lin Huai so quickly. They stood there frozen for a second, but Lin Huai slapped one of the students with no reserve, sending him flying. Then he kicked the other two students to the ground with one leg. He looked at them scornfully, “You dare to mess with me when you have so little strength?”

Zhang Chunyu covered his deformed arm, his face was sore and pale, sweating heavily. Then he stubbornly insulted, “You b*stard! You are ruthless enough, but I will not concede to you!”

“Good, you have a backbone. I like people like you with resolve, so you will get special treatment from me!” Lin Huai grabbed Zhang Chunyu by his hair towards the urinal.

Zhang Chunyu howled in pain, his hair was almost uprooted by Lin Huai.

The three students shuddered and were about to get up and run away, but Lin Huai said coldly, “If anyone dares to move, I will let them eat shit!”

The three students didn’t dare to move for an instant. They noticed Lin Huai’s vicious gaze, and they only felt that these ordinary fights were not at the same level as Linbei.

Lin Huai dragged Zhang Chunyu to the urinal. It was unclear who took a dump and didn’t flush it away. Zhang Chunyu had a face of disbelief, he had an expression like he was eating dirt, “What on earth are you going to do?”

Lin Huai patted Zhang Chunyu’s face gently, sneering, “Didn’t I just say it? You may have to eat shit today.”

“Impossible, how dare you … I will fight with you!” Zhang Chunyu’s face was pale, and he reached out with one of his hand to grab Lin Huai’s wrist.

“You don’t cry until you see the coffin[1]” Lin Huai grabbed his head and slammed it on the ground for a few times. Zhang Chunyu’s forehead broke a large section, and bled profusely.

Seeing that Zhang Chunyu had no strength to resist, Lin Huai grabbed his head and pressed it into the urinal. Zhang Chunyu shouted, “No, I’m Zhang Chunlei’s brother!”

“Hehe, I don’t know your brother!”

Seeing that the feces was getting closer to his mouth, the sickening odor came closer towards his face. Zhang Chunyu wanted to throw up, and he began to crumble in his heart. He pleaded miserably, “Brother Huai, I concede to you. I admit my faults to you. You are my grandpa[2], alright!”

Lin Huai threw him out of the urinal and he fell to the ground with a loud thud. Just after Zhang Chunyu landed on the ground, he lay on the ground and vomited, his mucus and tears all over the floor.

Lin Huai looked at him coldly, and said coldly, “Don’t mess with me in the future, or I won’t be so kind next time.”

“Brother Huai, I won’t dare to anymore, I won’t dare to anymore.” Zhang Chunyu knelt on the ground with a crying voice. The feces created a trauma in his heart.

Zhang Chunyu’s underlings also knelt down on the ground and shook, shouting as they knelt in a kowtow[3] position, “We won’t ever dare to do it again, we won’t ever dare to do it again.”

The moment Lin Huai opened the bathroom door, the two people in charge as the doorkeeper were also shaking terribly, they hurriedly lowered their heads when they saw Lin Huai. Obviously, they heard the activity in the bathroom.

After Lin Huai gave Zhang Chunyu a beating, Zhang Chunyu and the other students did not return to the class in the morning. The teachers who came to the class did not ask about it.

At noon when class ended, Wei Qimian was called away by two girls. Although Lin Huai agreed to be her bodyguard, it wasn’t good to follow them too closely, as it might be misunderstood by Wei Qimian that he had other intentions. So he decided to eat at the cafeteria alone. Instead he coincidentally met Zhang Jindong and his underlings at the exit.

This underling was called Mouse. It was the student who brown nosed Zhang Jindong and looked for Second Lei to deal with Lin Huai. The students in the corridors called him Brother Mouse. He was smug and arrogant at first, but when he saw Lin Huai, his expression became unsightly. Then it changed into rage. He rushed into class, asking loudly, “Where is Second Lei? Where did Second Lei go?”

Someone in the class said immediately, “Second Lei didn’t come to school in the last two classes in the morning. He probably skipped and went out to play.”

Mouse muttered a “Damn it” from his mouth, but thinking as Second Lei wasn’t someone to mess with, he could only hold back. He continued, “When Second Lei comes back, remember to tell him not to forget about what he promised Brother Dong.”

Mouse scurried hurriedly out of class. Just as he passed Lin Huai, Lin Huai stretched out his leg, and Mouse fell on his face disgracefully.

The students in the corridor laughed loudly, then one by one averted their gaze. Sports students were not easy to be messed with.

Mouse scolded something in his mouth, and saw Lin Huai looking at him coldly when he raised his head. He hurriedly got up and ran outside, thinking, Wait until Second Lei comes back and teaches you a lesson!

Zhang Jindong planned to do it himself, but he was badly injured this morning. He had to rest for at least two days, so he thought of borrowing a knife to kill a man [4].

After Mouse escaped, Lin Huai heard someone shouting for him just as he reached the stairs. Looking back, it was a little fatty. The little fatty ran in front of him, and bowed, “Brother Huai, I’ll be your follower from now on.”

Lin Huai’s gaze carried a hint of pleasant. “Didn’t you notice I have offended Zhang Jindong? And Zhang Chunyu also looked at me in a dispising way.”

“I …” The little fatty hesitated a little while hearing Lin Huai’s words, but he said courageously, “I’m not afraid.”

Lin Huai thought in his heart, This guy is quite interesting. Hence, he smiled and said, “You can stay with me, but it’s not called mingling around. I don’t have any interest in being a school bully. In my opinion, it is silly to be called the School Overlord. However, I can protect you well.”

The little fatty’s eyes brightened with an excited expression as he bowed repeatedly, “Thank you Brother Huai, thank you Brother Huai.”

“Don’t rush to thank me first.” Lin Huai assessed the little fatty, his voice was calm but with a little suspicion. “I’m just a new transfer student, who is unfamiliar with life here. I already offended someone when I just entered school. Why did you choose to follow me?”

There was a hint of slyness in the little fatty’s eyes. When he saw that there were no people around, he lowered his voice and said, “Brother Huai beat up Second Lei during recess, is that right?”

Lin Huai was surprised, “How did you know?”

It was equivalent to indirectly admitting it as Lin Huai asked in that manner. The little fatty chuckled proundly, and Lim Huai slapped on his head, “Hurry up and tell me.”

“Actually, when the Mouse came to Second Lei, I could see that that guy was misbehaving. When you went to urinate, Second Lei drove everyone out, but he did not drive you away.”

Lin Huai had to applaud the kid for being smart, but still said, “Maybe they taught me a lesson in the bathroom. How do you know it was me who beat up Second Lei?”

The little fatty seemed very proud, “At the time, there were people to keep watch at the door. I didn’t dare stay there for too long, but only you came back safely in class. I knew it was Second Lei who suffered a big loss.”

Lin Huai wrapped his hands around the little fatty’s shoulders and walked downstairs. The little fatty’s eyes were squinted into a thin line, and he finally got Lin Huai’s approval.

Lin Huai walked downstairs while holding him, and kept asking, “I am curious, have you ever wanted to be someone else’s underling before? Is the reason why you want to be my underling is because I am better than Second Lei?”

“If you are better than Second Lei, I will not be bullied.” The little fatty said with a gloomy expression, “I have been beaten three times since the beginning of school. They saw that I was chubby, and like to bully me when they have nothing better to do. Later, I wanted to be Second Lei’s underling. However, he did not accept me, saying that I was short and fat, and that I was useless at first sight.”

Lin Huai smiled, “Those people are blinded. Someone’s capability isn’t reflected by their appearance. What’s your name? Follow me from now on.”

Ling Huai didn’t want to mingle around like a bully He needed to protect Wei Qimian. It would be good to have a few more followers around. Even though the little fatty wasn’t some fighter, but him being the informant was acceptable. This little guy was also alert enough.

The little fatty said excitedly, “Brother Huai, you are really accepting me? My name is Pu Chengji, they all call me Fatty Ji.”

Lin Juai said, “Fatty Ji, help me pay more attention to Wei Qimian in the future. If anyone bullies her, tell me at the first moment.”

Park Chengji blinked, showing an “I understand” expression with a smirk on his face, “Brother Huai, I also think that only the class belle in our class can match up to you.”

Lin Huai did not deny it. If he wanted to misunderstand it, so let him misunderstand it.

Pu Chengji talked a lot about Wei Qimian. For example, she seemed like a child from a wealthy family with one glance, and her academic performance was very good. She was the first in the class’s monthly exam and was rated as the course belle of the computer science major. She was also the first of the four belle among the freshman…

He heard a lot, except that he did not say that Wei Qimian was the daughter of Wei Sihai. No one seemed to know the true identity of Wei Qimian. It was unclear if the teachers in the school knew about it.

The two walked towards the cafeteria while chatting, and Park Chengji suddenly pointed to the front. His eyes widened so much it almost seemed like his eyeballs would pop out of their sockets. He was drooling while talking, “Fairy … Fairy Qi … She … She was smiling at me. I didn’t expect that I, Pu Chengji, would have a turn of luck. I was spotted by one of the four belle among the freshmen…”

Lin Huai looked up. The pretty girl whom he asked directions from this morning was walking over, looking at himself with great passion. She had a mesmerising smile on her face too.
