Lin Huai tenderly placed his hand on Li Qianqian’s legs and slowly inched toward her inner thighs. Li Qianqian’s trembled and she let out a soft moan. Then, she slapped Lin Huai’s hand away. Her face red as she breathed, “Stop messing around. Don’t blame me if an accident happens.”
Lin Huai immediately withdrew his hand and smiled cheekily, “Then stop seducing me. Otherwise, don’t blame me if I can’t control myself.”
Li Qianqian chuckled and said, “You are so brazen-faced. Who shamelessly asked to come over to my house? Who is doing the seducing?”
“I merely came over to accompany you. I simply don’t want you to be bored. How is it seduction? You are so dirty minded.”
Li Qianqian chuckled, “What makes you think I’m bored? All you do is find reasons for yourself. What if I had a boyfriend and my boyfriend was home? Would I be bored with my boyfriend by my side?”
Lin Huai startled for a moment and gasped, “Oh my, you are too much. You have a boyfriend and yet you let me into your house? If you really cannot keep it in, we can always find a hotel or simply do it in the car.”
Li Qianqian slammed on the brakes and stopped the car. She blushed and punched Lin Huai in the chest. She then said, “Why are you so dirty minded? C-Can’t you see that I am injured? You want to piss me off?”
Lin Huai glanced at the gauze around Li Qianqian’s head and let out a dry cough. He knew that he shouldn’t tease an injured person. Furthermore, he did not know if Li Qianqian was dating anyone. Teasing was fine, but Lin Huai really did not want to cuckold anyone. That would be unethical.
Lin Huai probed, “Your partner… Does he have abusive tendencies?”
Li Qianqian immediately knew what Lin Huai was thinking about. She hesitated and gently sighed, “Don’t overthink. I don’t have a boyfriend yet. However, I’m open to introductions if you know anyone suitable.”
Lin Huai smiled sinisterly and replied, “You don’t actually think I believe you injured yourself from a fall, right? You know what I do for a living. I am very sensitive to injuries like these. The injury on your head might’ve been from a fall. The strangulation mark on your neck, though, was that from the fall as well? I don’t buy it.”
Li Qianqian had a gloomy look in her eyes.
Li Qianqian was in trouble—that was what Lin Huai deduced. Usually, Lin Huai won’t dig any deeper. However, their proximity just now had bred tender and protective feelings in Lin Huai. He asked subconsciously, “Who laid a hand on you? I will teach him a lesson on your behalf.”
“It’s okay.” Li Qianqian panicked and a flustered look crossed her face. She was afraid of Lin Huai’s questions. Her tone became icy. “Anymore questions and I will ask you to leave immediately.”
Lin Huai did not expect the escalation. He kept quiet for a while and then apologized, “Alright, everyone has their secrets. Mine is bigger. If you don’t want to share, I won’t ask.”
Li Qianqian heaved a sigh of relief and turned apologetic. “I know your intentions are good but you can’t help. You might even complicate the situation. So, I’m sorry….”
“No worries,” Lin Huai smiled and said nonchalantly. “Like I said, everyone has their secrets. Mine is that I am too handsome. This is not a secret I tell simply anybody.”
“You mentioned.” Li Qianqian rolled her eyes at him. She lightly bit her lip and said softly, “Besides, I could tell without your mentioning.”
“Haha, you are seducing me again. Be careful or I might take advantage of you. However, because of your injuries, I’ll let you off the hook today. I have impressive artillery power.”
Li Qianqian blushed and her eyes were as soft as silk. With a voice that could melt the coldest heart, she coquettishly said, “If this was last time, I would ignore you. But today… I am scared. Thus, you are not allowed to do anything except accompany me in my home. In a few days time when I’m better, I would compensate you well.”
Lin Huai asked, “Compensate me how?”
“By indulging your impressive artillery power…”
Lin Huai’s eyes brightened as he looked at Li Qianqian’s curvy and slender body. As a result, a certain body part of him got excited and ready to act. He took a deep breath and said, “Okay, if you insist, I will take a look at your room today.”
Li Qianqian calmed herself down and continued driving. Not long after, they arrived at her apartment. She unbuckled her seat belt and got out of the car.
Lin Huai exited the car and took a look at the apartment. He asked, “This is your house? It looks pretty good. It even has two floors. I think it’s too luxurious for the two of us.”

“I…” Li Qianqian wanted to turn him down. But her previous encounters made her feel insecure. Thus, some company was for the better. Besides, it’d been a few years since she had male company. It was happenstance that she met Lin Huai just as she needed a sense of security. He was so handsome… maybe this was predestined.
Li Qianqian mumbled, “Let’s see.”
Lin Huai was delighted. Usually when girls said that, it was basically a yes.
Li Qianqian was walking ahead so Lin Huai quickened his steps to match her and grabbed her arm. He cheekily remarked, “Since you’re injured, allow me to offer you assistance so as to prevent another fall.”
Li Qianqian smiled slightly and decided to ignore that Lin Huai might be taking advantage of her. She opened the door to the apartment and the two of them walked in together.
“Oh, smells good.” Lin Huai took a deep breath. The sweet aroma entered his lungs and eased his body. He said, “It’s not coming from you, is it? Here, let me take a whiff.”
As Lin Huai said that, he nudged his face into Li Qianqian’s chest. Li Qianqian chuckled and pushed him away. She flirtatiously said, “Didn’t we agree that today we would only hang out? You are not allowed to take advantage of me. You forgot as soon as we came through the door?”
“Ah? Hahaha, I didn’t forget, of course not. You overthink. I was simply curious about the fragrant smell. I am pure and innocent. Don’t overthink. Overthinking makes you dirty minded.”
“Flippant and insincere. I am unable to outargue you.” Li Qianqian walked over to the couch and sat down. Her spotless, fair finger pointed at Lin Huai, bright red nails alluring. She continued seductively, “There is fruit in the kitchen. Help me to wash two and bring them over.”
“Hey, I am the guest!” Lin Huai could not help but cry out. “Why am I serving you?”
“I am injured. The guest is caring for the injured. Does that make sense now? Hurry up and go, please!”
Seeing that Li Qianqian was acting coquettishly, Lin Huai’s legs turned soft. He immediately ran into the kitchen and found some fruits. He washed the fruits, cut them up, and placed them on a plate. Then, he found two toothpicks and brought the plate into the living room. He placed everything on the coffee table and said with a serious tone, “The fruits are ready, my Queen.”
“So you’re into this?” Li Qianqian’s gaze went funny as she asked. “Next time when you come over, I will have whips and pepper spray ready….”
