The Great Trump Card - Chapter 132

Halfway through class, Wei Qimian whispered and asked, “Lin Huai, are you really leaving college for good?”

Lin Huai softly replied, “Aren’t I back now? My wife is here so how could I not return? Its just that I won’t be here every day to attend classes but I would still come back occasionally.”

Wei Qimian said, “Alright then. There is nothing much I can say after all…”

Lin Huai replied, “Yeah. Anyway, how’s college so far?”

Wei Qimian said, “Ever since you took charge of the college, the discipline of all the students have improved. The situation here has completely transformed. Because of that, I would like to thank you on behalf of my mother.”

Lin Huai smiled and said, “Aunty is the one that deserves the praise. My efforts are miniscule compared to hers.”

“That’s not the case. I witnessed with my own eyes the amount of effort you put in to transform everything in the college. Although you seemed like a naughty rascal most of the time, at the end of the day, you are a kind person.”

“Hey, we are a couple now, don’t friend zone me for no apparent reason.”

“Haha, I am not friend zoning you. I still feel that you are rather naughty.”

“That’s right. It’s good that you think I’m naughty.” Lin Huai stared at Wei Qimian before shifting over to look down at her shirt. Hmm, a red bra. Lin Huai smiled and asked, “Are you going to allow me to do some naughty things tonight?”

Wei Qimian blushed and rolled her eyes at Lin Huai as she said, “I am so beautiful that snot is dripping down your nose.”

Lin Huai laughed.

By then, class was over and the teacher instructed the students to complete their practice papers. Then, the teacher walked over to Lin Huai and with a smile on his face, he said, “Brother Huai.”

Lin Huai quickly replied, “Teacher, please don’t address me so respectfully. I am the one that should be respecting you.”

He was grinning from ear to ear as he said, “Alright then. Thank you Lin Huai.”

“Thank me? For what?”

“Thank you for bringing changes upon our college. Did you know that I had given up all hope in this college and was just planning to waste my life away just like that? I had no aspirations, no dreams and you were the one that brought us hope.”

Lin Huai smiled and said, “I am equally as pleased to see the tremendous change in our college. I was able to make a change in the past but the future of the college ultimately lies in your hands.”

“Don’t worry, we will make sure to educate every single student and guide them to become successful people. After all, that’s the ultimate vision of every teacher.”

For some reason, Lin Huai was pleased. No matter what, I have managed to achieve what I had planned and the results were much better than I thought. That’s good enough.

As for the rest of the problems, it’s up to me to deal with it and clean up the mess. If I don’t resolve the problems in the underworld once and for all, the college would eventually return to its usual state once I leave Tongcheng City.

Wei Qimian lowered her voice to a whisper. “Did you hear that? I am not the only one that friend zoned you as the teacher did the same as well.”

Lin Huai smiled and said, “That’s different. I am not planning to date the teacher and furthermore, he’s a guy. I am only interested in you.”

Wei Qimian blushed and shyly groaned, “You are excellent in all aspects but the issue with you is that you talk too much rubbish.”

Lin Huai smiled, “You have yet to see me naked. How do you know that I’m excellent in all aspects?”

Lin Huai said while staring at his groin. Wei Qimian was flustered and she yelled while giving him a few light jabs.

Once class was dismissed, Lin Huai returned to the mini jungle. He asked Dao Zi who was still hard at work to join him at the canteen for lunch.

After lunch, Lin Huai returned back to class and left Dao Zi in the mini jungle to continue training.

The day passed by in a blink of an eye. As there were no music lessons on that day, Lin Huai was not able to meet the beautiful female teacher, Pu Yingxue.

Once class was over, Lin Huai bid farewell to Wei Qimian and returned to the arcade with Dao Zi. Along the way, Dao Zi was constantly murmuring to himself and his mind was filled with scenes of a battle. Lin Huai looked at him and could not help but shake his head with a bitter smile. Dao Zi is such a martial arts enthusiast and there is no stopping him.

When they returned to the arcade, Lin Huai gathered all eighty of his men, to be specific, it was eighty three of them including Dao Zi and Chu Wenxing. Lin Huai glanced around at them and said, “My brothers. I am sure that you have heard about the incident that occurred this morning. Since Gong Zhenglong chose to pick a fight with us, there is no need for us to have any compassion for them and we don’t have to show them any respect. Even if I don’t need the money, you all still need it to cover your living expenses!”

Somebody in the crowd shouted, “Brother Huai, go ahead and announce your decision. We can help you to take him out!”

“Yes, we have to take him out!”

“Stopping someone from making money is equivalent to murdering their parents!”

Lin Huai nodded and said, “There is no need to take him out but we do have to get back at him. Chu Wenxing, bring along a team of people with you tonight and wait at the side of the road across Ying Di Bar. If you all receive a phone call from me to take action, charge in and beat everyone up. On the other hand, stay put if you don’t receive a phone call from me.”

Chu Wenxing acknowledged and asked, “Brother Huai, what about you?”

“I will be going into the bar with Dao Zi.”

Chu Wenxing was shocked. “That’s not a good idea, it’s too dangerous.”

Lin Huai smiled and said, “Dangerous? Do you think they are able to lay a hand on me?”

Chu Wenxing was still a little concerned when Dao Zi said, “Don’t worry, I will protect Brother Huai.”

Chu Wenxing gave a bitter smile and was speechless. However, since Lin Huai was so adamant about it, as his Red Cane, he had no choice but to strictly adhere to his orders.

Eighty over of them arrived at the bar in a mighty fashion. They all came over by foot and it took them about half an hour. Along the way, the passer-bys gave them a respectful yet fearful look. Thus, despite understanding how dangerous this mission was, they still felt a sense of satisfaction which they have never felt before. As such, all of the worries and fear within their heart vanished.

After arriving at the bar, the waiter who was standing by the entrance was shocked by the sudden appearance of such a huge group of people. He immediately ran back into the bar to report about this incident.

Lin Huai instructed, “All of you wait on the other side of the road for my phone call. Dao Zi, let’s go.”

Dao Zi nodded his head while grasping tightly onto the dagger in his pocket.

The both of them walked into the bar together and disappeared before the eyes of Chu Wenxing and the others. One of Chu Wenxing’s henchmen was a little worried and asked, “Brother Chu, wouldn’t Brother Huai be in danger? It’s dangerous for the two of them to walk in just like that.”

Chu Wenxing said, “That’s my thoughts exactly. However, there is no need to be overly concerned about this. Don’t we all know Brother Huai’s personality? Although he is brave and courageous, he would never walk into a fight that he’s not well prepared for!”

Chu Wenxing added on, “For example, back then when he went against Zhou Minghu, he only had a few men with him. They went against the entire sports major which had more than a hundred men. Not only that, he had to go against another large group of people that were ready to side with Zhou Minghu. Everyone thought Brother Huai was mad and doomed. However at the end of the day, Zhou Minghu was the one that died.”

Prior to this, they were all worried about facing off with Gong Zhenglong of the Thunder Gang. However after Chu Wenxing’s speech, their confidence grew. In reality, Gong Zhenglong was very different from Zhou Minghu. No matter how powerful Zhou Minghu was, he was merely a leader in a college. Gong Zhenglong on the other hand was an actual big boss of the underworld.

Lin Huai brought Dao Zi into the bar and just as they walked in, five to six thugs surrounded them. One of them was the guy that was smoking at the entrance of the bar just now. That thug pointed at Lin Huai and said, “That’s him. He brought along many people with him.”

Another tall man dressed in black clothes had a scar on his forehead and he stared at Lin Huai. He coldly said, “Brother, I am Zhang Sheng, the person in charge of this bar. If you are here to have fun, I would welcome you with an open arm. However, if you are here to cause trouble, I am afraid you would not be able to walk out of here in one piece.”

The man dressed in black clothes exuded a rather tough aura and although he was certainly not at the Observable Energy Stage, he was definitely someone who could take on a couple of guys at the same time.

Lin Huai asked, “You all are Gong Zhenglong’s henchman right?”

Zhang Sheng stared coldly at Lin Huai and in a chilly voice said, “I am afraid you don’t have the rights to address Brother Long by his full name.”

“Brother Long?” Lin Huai suddenly laughed and grabbed onto Zhang Sheng’s neck. Lin Huai took action so quickly and his movements were so fast that it was impossible for Zhang Sheng or any of the five men around him to react. By the time they came to their senses, Lin Huai had already grabbed onto Zhang Sheng’s neck.

“Brother Sheng!”

“Brother Sheng!”

“Let go of Brother Sheng. F*ck! Brother Sheng is our boss. Now that you have laid a hand on him, don’t ever think of leaving this place in one piece!”

All of them clamoured and shouted arrogantly.

Lin Huai smiled as he gripped harder onto Zhang Sheng’s neck. The cracking sounds of his neck could be heard and his face soon turned purple. Lin Huai casually said, “If you all continue to make noise, I will snap your Brother Sheng’s neck off.”

Zhang Sheng grabbed Lin Huai’s hand and tried to pry Lin Huai’s fingers apart. However, he was no match for Lin Huai’s strength. The calm look on his face as well as his casual voice terrified Zhang Sheng.

All of his men kept their mouth shut and Lin Huai slowly relaxed his grip. He then casually said, “I am not worthy to address Brother Long by his full name? How dare you speak to me like that? Bring me to Brother Long and tell him that Lin Huai is here.”

Upon hearing Lin Huai’s name, their expression changed. Zhang Sheng gave a complicated look at Lin Huai. He took a couple of deep breaths before saying, “No wonder you exuded such a tough aura. Brother Huai, we are on the same team. My apologies for the mistake. Let me bring you to meet Brother Long now.”

Lin Huai casually acknowledged and followed Zhang Sheng’s lead. Everyone made way despite looking down on a newbie like Lin Huai as he looked like a student. However, he was still one of the five Red Canes so they had no choice but to pay him a sufficient level of respect.

The bar was filled with people drinking and having fun. Lin Huai received a couple of curious stares as they were surprised to see Brother Sheng, the man in charge of the bar showing respect toward a young person.

Lin Huai followed Zhang Sheng to the second floor and they arrived outside a room. The sounds of people playing poker could be heard and Zhang Sheng said, “Brother Long is inside.”

He then stretched his arm out with the intention of knocking the door but all of a sudden, Lin Huai kicked the door open. With a loud bang, the lock of the door crumbled and the door was kicked open.

Zhang Sheng was stunned while everyone inside the room shouted, “Who’s there?”

“Who did that?”

“F*ck! Who had the guts to kick the door down?”

Lin Huai kept his hands in his pocket and he strolled into the room. He glanced at everyone inside and coldly said, “It’s me, Lin Huai!”
