Translator: Nyoi-Bo Studio Editor: Nyoi-Bo Studio

Lydia could not help but sneer in her heart. It seemed that this Miss Dunbar was not only arrogant and despotic to the people in her life, but also to the people at work. Although meeting her was considered bad luck, but now, she would not cower like before.

The makeup artist asked flatteringly, “Is Miss Dunbar going to join Feiyan?”

Irene Dunbar did not even look at her. Her eyes were fixed on Lydia as if she wanted to eat her up. “Hey, parasite, are you dressed like that to become a cleaner here?”

Lydia did not want to bother with her at all. She quickly found the exit and wanted to wait outside.

Seeing that Lydia was ignoring her, Irene Dunbar was furious. She stood up and rushed in front of Lydia to stop her. She shouted, “Are you deaf? I’m talking to you. Can’t you hear me?”

Everyone in the dressing room was attracted by this roar. They all looked at Irene Dunbar.

Lydia really wanted to roll her eyes. As the preparation time she was given was not very long, Lydia did not want to waste a single second on her.

Lydia turned sideways and was about to leave. When Irene Dunbar saw the script in Lydia’s hand, she reached out to take it away. However, she did not expect Lydia to be so strong that she could not move the script in her hand at all.

Lydia’s footsteps did not stop. Irene Dunbar refused to let go. In the next moment, Irene had been dragged along by Lydia and turned around. As she was wearing extremely high heels, she quickly lost her balance and fell to the ground.

A few jeers suddenly came from the dressing room. There was an obvious sense of ridicule. However, it was as if those laughing suddenly realized that they should not be laughing at a famous actress, so they immediately stopped.

Irene was lying on the ground. Initially, she just felt pain in her feet and knees. When she heard the laughter, she immediately looked up to see who was laughing. However, she found that everyone was working quietly. The entire dressing room was eerily quiet.

Irene’s assistant immediately ran over to help her up and asked her where she fell.

Lydia looked down and was relieved to find the script intact. She was too lazy to argue with Irene. However, Irene quickly ordered her assistant, “This b*tch caused me to fall. Beat her to death!”

Beat?

Lydia was very sensitive to this term. She looked at Irene’s assistant. He was a skinny young man. Even though he was a man, if he really wanted to fight with her, he would not be able to survive even one move from her.

The little assistant twirled his orchid finger and placed it on his lips. He was very troubled. “Sister Irene, this, this, this, this… this is the interview venue for ‘A Big Family’. I heard that Mr. Marcel is here today. We… should we…”

Irene Dunbar was so angry that her face was distorted. “If you are not willing to hit her, then pack up and get out of here right now!”

The little assistant trembled from being yelled at. He looked at Lydia with a very apologetic look in his eyes, as if he was saying, “I don’t mean to hit you, I was forced to do it.”.

He raised his hand, gritted his teeth, and was about to hit Lydia. Lydia grabbed his wrist and pushed him back, causing him to fall backward.

In the process of falling, out of self-defense, he instinctively wanted to grab onto something, so he accidentally grabbed Irene’s clothes and pulled her down with him.

The dressing room suddenly burst into laughter, as if someone had been holding back for a long time while watching a carnival show.

Lydia did not want to waste any more time with her. She took the script and left.

Lydia found a quiet place and carefully analyzed the character’s personality. She wanted to think of a way to show it off in all its glory.

Soon, half an hour had passed. Lydia made use of the time to appear on the right side of the hall. Nourse was waiting for her there.

There was a person performing on stage. She was also auditioning for the role of second female lead. The judges below the stage all had solemn expressions on their faces.

Nourse said kindly, “Miss Lydia, you don’t have to look at the faces of the judges. They are all a little nervous because Mr. Marcel is here today.”
