As both of them spoke, a sword-light flew swiftly across the sky. A young man in his early twenties dressed in fluttering clothes that were divinely white descended with his feet on the sword-light. Although his features were ordinary, he exuded a celestial aura.

The ones who mastered the Qi Plundering Boundary were true cultivators while all those beneath them were mere mortals. It was only at that boundary that one could be rid of mortal restraints and step onto the path of immortality.

“Mortal, your strength is commendable indeed,” said the young man who was stepping on the sword-light with obvious murderous intent in his eyes. He glanced at the middle-aged man lying on the ground who had been beaten to a pulp and blurted out, “Useless scum.”

“Brother Cang Yan, you’re finally here. Kill this little thief! He’s terribly arrogant!” immediately shouted the few people who had gathered nearby. The sight of the young man was like a divine encounter and all of them were on their knees.

“Break all of your own limbs and I shall spare your lives,” Cang Yan responded coldly as he gazed down at Ji Mo as if he was an ant.

“Hahaha…” At that moment, Old Man Qingzhu chuckled and used his broken bamboo pole to point at Cang Yan and gently uttered a single word, “Retreat!”

The broken bamboo pole lightly touched the air, but neither was True Qi visible nor did mana surge. However, Cang Yan, who was stepping on the sword-light, felt a sudden discomfort in his chest as though he had been hit by an enormous force. He could not maneuver the sword-light and felt straight from mid-air.

Bang!

Cang Yan fell to the ground embarrassingly. Pulling a disgraced expression, he lost the vigor he had.

The sword-light under his feet quickly vanished and turned into a sword talisman which drifted to the ground.

The sword talisman was a type of spiritual talisman, but its grade was not that high and the flying sword aura was sealed in it. The flying sword was a magical treasure of the cultivators and could demonstrate thousands of magical powers. It could be mobilized for a thousand kilometers to decapitate a person. However, it was not easy for an ordinary cultivator to obtain a magical treasure, especially an advanced-level magical treasure like the flying sword.

Therefore, people spent some Qi Gathering Pills to buy that kind of sword talisman. Even though the power of the sword talisman was not comparable to the flying sword, it possessed the aura of the flying sword within and could turn into a flying sword to attack enemies.

“Brother Cang Yan.”

The expression on the faces of the onlookers changed. Just a moment ago, Cang Yan was seen as an immortal with victory in his hands. How did the old beggar-like man point a bamboo pole and make him fall embarrassingly to the ground? What was that?

“I’d never have thought that there’d be another master here. It seems like you know Qi Plundering Boundary too.” Cang Yan stood up with a struggle, rubbing his chest where there was a burning pain.

At that instant, Cang Yan saw Old Man Qingzhu’s gaze become serious.

Ji Mo retreated further. He knew that he was no match for a Qi Plundering Boundary master. Old Man Qingzhu was mysteriously unpredictable. Although Ji Mo was old friends with him, he was clueless about Old Man Qingzhu’s capabilities. Just a while ago, when Old Man Qingzhu easily shot Cang Yan down from the air, it was evident that he had extraordinary skills.

“Old man, come on. I’m betting my principles that you will win!” Ji Mo shouted.

“Then, I’m not winning…” Old Man Qingzhu spat back and took a mouthful of wine.

At that instant, Cang Yan got his hands on the sword talisman again, and with the transfer of his True Qi, a golden sword-light appeared within his palm. “I don’t care who you are. If you dare be a busybody, then death is the only option!”

Immediately, the golden sword-light flew into the air and transformed into Golden Dragon Sword Qi above Cang Yan’s head.

“The Golden Dragon Flying Sword’s sword energy is sealed within this sword talisman. Unfortunately, it’s been used too many times, so the sword energy is very weak,” said Old Man Qingzhu. Thereafter, he turned to Ji Mo. “Kid, look closely. I’m giving you an opportunity: the Broken God’s Eye!

With a grunt at that instant, his pupils turned white and shot two beams of bizarre neon lights out.

“Kill!”

At that moment, Cang Yan had turned the Golden Dragon Sword Qi that was transformed from the sword talisman into an offering. The golden sword energy became a roaring golden dragon and writhed towards the direction of Old Man Qingzhu.

“Divine power!” Ji Mo watched enthusiastically. That was a move that only a Qi Plundering Boundary master could exhibit!

At that moment, a bizarre voice appeared in Ji Mo’s mind. It was Old Man Qingzhu’s voice.

‘Broken God’s Eye is my creation. It’s neither divine nor is it a martial art. Instead, it’s a visual technique. This visual technique can break through all illusions and see through fantasies or formations. If practiced all the way until the major advanced level, you can even see through the secrets of heaven and earth. From the mountains to the rivers, any rare treasure will not be able to hide from the Broken God’s Eye!

‘Of course, these aren’t the main functions of the Broken God’s Eye. There’s a greater power of the Broken God’s Eye, which is to simulate the divine power of another party. Any divine power that’s recorded by the Broken God’s Eye will be replicated for your own use.

At this point, Old Man Qingzhu directly faced the Golden Dragon Sword Qi created by Cang Yan and lifted the broken bamboo pole in his hand once again, lightly pointing it like before. Instantly, the Golden Dragon Sword Qi dissolved without a trace.

“How can this happen?!” Cang Yan was shocked and turned his gaze to Old Man Qingzhu seriously.

“Hahaha…” Old Man Qingzhu had a smile on his face while the broken bamboo pole in his hand looked ordinary as though it would break at any moment. Despite appearing as a broken bamboo pole, it seemed to contain endless divine power!

Cang Yan felt humiliated in the face of an inconspicuous old beggar and his eyes glinted with murderous intent. Immediately, his hands waved around in the air, forming ripples of Flaming Dao Qi that flew straight towards Old Man Qingzhu.

Although the Flaming Dao Qi was similar to Huo Lin’er’s Flaming Sword Qi, it was not as intricate as the latter. Huo Lin’er’s Flaming Sword Qi was like a gigantic wave that crashed one after the other in an endless cycle, causing one to be defenseless. In comparison, the divine power from Cang Yan’s Flaming Dao Qi was much more inferior.

Bang, bang, bang, bang!

Old Man Qingzhu whipped the broken bamboo pole easily like before, releasing a piercing whistle.

There was neither a surge of mana nor flow of True Qi, but the Flaming Dao Qi dissipated in the air and turned into embers that were not deadly at all.

“You…” Cang Yan turned pale. Even though he was a Qi Plundering Boundary master, he felt helpless going against the mysteriously unpredictable Old Man Qingzhu.

At that moment, Old Man Qingzhu giggled and white glows started to appear on both of his pupils. Within the white glows, there seemed to be flickering like some delicate runes prancing within his pupils as if his eyes were deriving something. When Cang Yan saw Old Man Qingzhu draw strangely in the air with his finger, shock flashed across his eyes instantly.

In that instant, numerous ripples of Flaming Dao Qi flew out of Old Man Qingzhu’s palm, rumbling in a deadly manner towards Cang Yan. The hundreds of Flaming Dao Qi ripples were far greater than the divine power that Cang Tan formed just a while ago.

“Impossible!” Cang Yan exclaimed instinctively. After all, the divine power of the Flaming Dao Qi was his family inheritance and no outsider would know about it. However, he was witnessing Old Man Qingzhu pull off the Flaming Dao Qi flawlessly. How could he accept that?
