At his words, there was a slight crack in Ishiel’s expression. Of course, she was aware of this fact — Clayo Asher had no friends to visit him at all.

“If the case isn’t resolved by the time my health recovers, I’ll attend your summon. However, please don’t bother me anymore if the case is settled before then.”
Jeongjin said as he looked up at Ishiel. He looked so incredibly weary of the world, unlike a normal 17-year-old boy.

Before Ishiel could stop the boy, a golden semicircle that was filled with a complex pattern extended from Jeongjin’s body. Then, the boy’s strong fist bounced off against the magic circle’s boundary.
“Oh, AGH!!”
The boy screamed loudly, grabbing his hand in pain. Meanwhile, Ishiel gazed at Jeongjin over the semicircle of brilliant gold. And she placed her hand on the hilt of her sword in reflex, ready to strike if something went wrong.
