Ji Xinxin observed the peaceful smile on Ling Chuxia’s face. She was so done with being angry that her rage started to cool off instead. She stared at Ling Chuxia for a long time and suddenly spoke. “Chuxia, are you seriously not angry?”
Ji Xinxin could not comprehend Ling Chuxia’s train of thought. Any woman who saw her husband being intimate with another lady would immediately rush up and slap that bitch, or at the very least get angry. But Ling Chuxia acted as if she saw nothing and showed no sign of anger. She could even drag Ji Xinxin away as if nothing happened and could even break out a smile now!
Ling Chuxia drooped her eyes as her smile faded. Her tone, however, remained calm. “There’s nothing to be angry about.”
“Hmph.”
Ji Xinxin could not hold back her snigger at the response. “There’s nothing to be angry about?”
Ji Xinxin had to repeat Ling Chuxia’s statement. She laughed uncontrollably for a bit. “Ling Chuxia, look at my reaction. Isn’t this the normal reaction to have? If people didn’t know, they would think that Shi Che was my husband instead!”
An outsider like me was already worrying for her. But the person in question, Ling Chuxia, appeared unmoved at all of this.
Ling Chuxia’s expression froze for a second as she kept silent. At the same time, the server brought the warm water to their table. Ling Chuxia picked up the cup and took a sip quietly.
After the drink, Ling Chuxia looked up and looked at Ji Xinxin composedly. “Don’t you have an event tonight? It’s about time, let’s go.”

It was already sunset when Ling Chuxia reached home. The sun hid behind the grey clouds that rolled across the sky. She sat in the car and watched the slowly passing scenery in the car window. The lights had just lit up and Liangcheng remained as busy and happening as it always was.
Ling Chuxia quietly sat and watched. She gradually fell into a daze.
In her mind, the images she had witnessed a while ago inadvertently started flashing. An insanely handsome man and a coquettish young woman hung out intimately with each other. The lady appeared to have said something as the man’s lips curled slightly to form a light smile.
