For the previous seven years, because of Quan Jin’s extraordinary talents in business, none of the noble families had dared to suppress or bully the Quans. They had chosen to make concessions for any conflict of interest.
That piece of news, however, had just dropped a bomb on the upper class.

Looking down, Quan Jin noticed the date of the event. It was going to be in a month’s time. The tenth day of the following month, at ten in the morning, the event would take place at the Emperor Hotel in Jiang.
“Miss Quan, are…are you going? They will set you up to test the facticity of the news. Those families have been coveting the Quan Corporation for so long.. Miss Quan, do you want me to reject the invitation?” The butler was looking carefully at Quan Jin’s face to read her emotions as he spoke. He was afraid that she would look upset.

No! She was beyond happy.
Didn’t those upper-class families just want to see whether she had become an ugly loser, so that they could be more assured to work with one another for the acquisition of the Quan Corporation?
What a nice plan! Should she go?

After returning the invitation card, she turned to go back to her room. As she was closing the door however,, she suddenly thought of something and stopped to ask the butler, “How about the government’s Central Talent Training Programme? Do they still have a quota for me like seven years ago?”
He looked shocked, guessing the reason why she had asked, “Miss Quan, the government once said that Miss Quan’s quota would always be reserved.”
“Oh.” Quan Jin nodded.
She said something that shocked the butler once again, “Give me the contact information of the authorities. Notify everyone in the house that I will be taking the recruitment test next month. “I will resign from school effective from tomorrow.”
What…what? Miss Quan wanted to quit school and join the Central Talent Training?
