As for the third heavenly scroll, it was still blank today. Neither Su Han nor the old Daoist knew exactly what its content was. He merely said that Su Han would know once the opportunity arrived.

One of the purposes of leaving the old Taoist this time was also to find this opportunity.

Su Han sat cross-legged on the bed with his eyes closed, allowing his mind and body to completley quieten down, as if he had entered some sort of a mysterious space, free from a trace of distracting thoughts.

And at this moment, a fiery red sports car sped into the Qiao family’s courtyard. The security guards at the door seem to have already gotten used to it and hence were not surprised at all. They exclaimed, “Second Missy is back!”

Qiao Yuman got down from the car, the boots on her feet jingling incessantly. Her clothes were rather non-mainstream. According to her, she was being fashionable, something that ordinary people wouldn’t understand.

She got out of the car and humphed a tune while entering the house. She acutely smelled a different scent and pinched her purple hair, which was draped beside her ear. Her eyes were just like that of a playful genie, filled with cunningness.

“Madam Wu,” Qiao Yuman said in a sweet voice that would give one the goosebumps. Upon sight of Madam Wu walking over, she leaped and held onto her arm. She asked coquettishly, “What are we having for dinner tonight?”

Madam Wu seemed to be full of adoration. Even though Qiao Yuman was extremely playful, Madam Wu doted on her like she was her own granddaughter. “I’ll make you anything you want to eat.”

“Hehe, you’re so kind, Madam Wu!” Qiao Yuman smiled cheekily, her eyes curved up like crescents. She was charmingly beautiful.

Her little nose twitched and she suppressed her voice again. She said softly, “Madam Wu, why do I feel that the atmosphere at home is not quite right?”

Madam Wu didn’t say anything, and instead, just looked upstairs. The intelligent Qiao Yuman immediately understood and let go of Madam Wu’s hand, immediately after which she dashed upstairs, and charged into Qiao Yushan’s room.

“Sister, I’m back!” Qiao Yuman gently knocked on the door, twisted the handle to open it and pushed it open as she entered. She smiled cheekily and tried to joke with her sister, but she heard a soft sobbing coming from inside.

Qiao Yuman dashed in and saw Qiao Yushan looking aggrieved with reddened eyes. She immediately became a little anxious and asked, “Sister, what’s wrong with you? Who bullied you? I’ll take revenge for you!”

Looking at her sister, Qiao Yushan felt aggrieved. She was a little touched after hearing how worried her sister was for her and that she wanted to take revenge for her. She shook her head with a bitter smile and said, “It was Grandpa who reprimanded me. Do you dare to take revenge against him?”

Hearing that it was her grandfather, Qiao Yuman sulked immediately. She would never dare to take revenge on her grandfather!

A thought suddenly surfaced in her mind. ‘Grandpa usually pampers us and dotes on us very much. Why would he reprimand Sister?’

Qiao Yushan knew that her sister was puzzled so she had no choice but to shake her head and tell her what happened. As soon as she finished, Qiao Yuman sprung up.

“Brother-in-law? I have a brother-in-law? What a joke!” Qiao Yuman stared as if she had heard the greatest joke ever. She continued, “He’s a college dropout who managed to join our family’s hospital through connections? Are you going to marry such a man? Even I won’t agree to that!”

In her opinion, her sister was favored by god, and was also her role model and idol since they were children. Yet, she was being forced to marry a person who even failed to graduate from college and even had to go through the back door to get a job.

Even Qiao Yuman disapproved of it, not to mention Qiao Yushan herself!

‘Psht! Become his sister-in-law? Impossible!’

Qiao Yushan shook her head helplessly because she was well aware that no one can change her grandfather’s mind once he has come to a decision. This was the first request her grandfather had ever made to her and she didn’t even know the reason for it.

Without waiting for her to say anything, Qiao Yuman humphed indignantly like a female leopard cub that was about to lose its temper. She turned around and walked out of Qiao Yushan’s room. “Sister, don’t be afraid, I’ll help you teach him a lesson!”

She stormed out of Qiao Yushan’s room and ran straight to Su Han’s room, seemingly emanating a flame that would burn Su Han alive!

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Qiao Yuman was not the least bit polite at all as she knocked hard on the door right away. “Brother-in-law! Brother-in-law! Open the door quickly!”

Su Han had long heard Qiao Yuman’s movement from inside the room. He restrained his aura and proceeded to open the door, only to see a girl who resembled Qiao Yushan a little. He knew that she was Qiao Yuman.

The Qiao sisters, who were nicknamed ‘Big Qiao’ and ‘Little Qiao’, were extremely beautiful. However, Qiao Yushan was mature, stable, elegant and dignified; while Qiao Yuman was more like a little witch, witty, cunning, and intelligent.

“I’m not married to your sister yet, you can just call me by my name.” Hearing her address him as ‘Brother-in-law’, Su Han felt even more embarrassed than he was when he heard Madam Wu address him as ‘Sir’. Hence, he had no choice but to explain.

However, Qiao Yuman deciphered it differently.

‘Hmph, I called you Brother-in-law to deal with you! You still dream of marrying my sister? Don’t even think about it!’ Qiao Yuman thought in his heart, but she was smiling brightly like a blooming flower. Her large eyes were curved like crescents and she was extremely adorable.

“It’s just a matter of time! Brother-in-law, you should know who I am, right?” Qiao Yuman deliberately blinked, looking very playful. There was a trace of cunningness in the depths of her eyes and she said, “I’m Yuman and I just learned that you’ve arrived so I quickly came over to get to know you. Hehe.”

“I know, I’m Su Han, just call me by my name.” Su Han nodded. Given how hard Qiao Yuman knocked on the door, he didn’t think that she had come to him for something good.

“Hehe, Brother-in-law since you’ve just arrived in Shanghai, you haven’t even gone out to play yet, right? My sister is busy with work but I have time,” Qiao Yuman smiled cheekily, reached out and pulled Su Han, “Come on, Brother-in-law, I’ll take you to play. Let’s go, let’s go!”

Qiao Yuman didn’t care if Su Han agreed or not. She was bent on teaching him a lesson today for lusting over her sister, who was way out of his league. She had to make him realize the difference between himself and Qiao Yushan.

Before Su Han said anything, Qiao Yuman had already pulled him into her sports car. She got into the driver’s seat and turned around to look at Su Han. With a sly smile, she said, “Brother-in-law, I just got my driver’s license so I’m not good at driving. Remember to fasten your seatbelt.”

As soon as she finished, Qiao Yuman started the car and stepped on the gas pedal, after which her sports car reversed quickly in a circular arc and started shaking violently, depriving Su Han of the time to fasten his seatbelt.

Qiao Yuman turned around in a bid to see Su Han making a fool out of himself, only to see Su Han remaining seated solemnly. Even though he wasn’t wearing a seatbelt, he was still as stable as ever!

She thought to herself, ‘How is that possible!?!’

Su Han glanced at her and then continued to pull the seatbelt over himself calmly without swaying in the slightest, as if he was fixed to the seat. He buckled the seatbelt and said indifferently, “It’s alright, you’re quite a steady driver.”

Qiao Yuman humphed and revealed two pointed teeth, feeling rather indignant. However, she still looked adorable. She stepped on the gas pedal again and the engine roared. Giggling, she said, “Thank you for the encouragement, Brother-in-law.. Sit tight!”
