Yu Chu put down the slice of watermelon as she thought silently. She had been waiting for him to come online. She didn’t feel good about implicating him in such a scandal. She wanted to explain to him.
Mentally, she marshaled her thoughts slowly. Suddenly a private message appeared in her inbox.
In the private chat, S said, ‘I saw the post on the forum.’
As Su Yanbai typed, his eyelashes shuddered lightly, covering his inky black eyes. His expression was impassive, yet his exquisite eyebrows were furrowed.
Yu Chu was dumbfounded. He had read the post… Normally, shouldn’t someone ask what was going on? Instead, he declared that he had seen it, making her shudder slightly. For some strange reason, she felt as though she had been caught cheating on him.
Her fingers trembled unconsciously as she thought about what to say. Another message arrived in her inbox.

From his succinct and concise question, she could visualize the expression of the other party as he typed. Master’s nonchalant tone contained a subtle trace of displeasure. Yu Chu was taken aback.
What she had originally planned to say was that, ‘Did the post on the forum cause you any inconvenience? Sorry…’

Yu Chu pressed her lips together as she contemplated briefly.

After explaining, she feared that Master would be angry at her for implicating him in this matter. Thus, she continued to type.

The young man watched the screen with an impassive expression on his exquisite-looking face. His fair fingers gripped the mouse and he didn’t move for a long time.
His eyelashes drooped lower and he relinquished his grip on the mouse. A cold, wry smile flitted across his mouth.

When the man read her reply, his expression turned frigid and cold. Silently, he clicked to enter the forum. What greeted his eyes was the trending, explosive post.
He stared at the photo of A Boat As Light As a Leaf. The nonchalance in his eyes was marred by a flash of iciness. He tapped the surface of his desk lightly with his fair, slender fingers. He narrowed his billowing eyes, looking stoic.
Suddenly, a pitiful message seeking his forgiveness appeared in his private chat inbox.
In the private chat, Meowmeowmeowmeowmeowmeowmeow asked, ‘Master, are you angry? Sorry, I shouldn’t have implicated you. Hold on. Let me go clarify myself on the forum.’
Su Yanbai pressed his lips together and his eyebrows were knitted closely together. He seemed rather nonchalant but his annoyance had increased.
His long eyelashes fell.
In the private chat, S asked, ‘What do you need to explain.’
Yu Chu was taken aback for a moment when she read his reply. She pondered the meaning of his reply. Was he trying to ask what she was trying to explain or was he questioning her?
She was still deciding when Master sent another message.

Yu Chu blinked in confusion. However, she placed her head on her desk as she ate the watermelon.
After several minutes, the system announced a piece of news which made nearly everyone’s jaws drop.
