Super Zombie Factory - Chapter 14

Oasis Yipin.

Soon after a house was handed over, it would be renovated, which made the neighborhood a busy area. The entrance to the neighborhood was filled with vehicles and people carrying materials.

Monopolizing such an area meant that money would come rolling in.

Zhang Depeng moved a chair under a lush tree. He lay on it and squinted his eyes, enjoying the shade.

“After we are done with this neighborhood, excluding the sum paid to the service company, there will be at least three to four hundred thousand. Then, if we hire more men, we would be eligible to take down a bigger neighborhood.”

“Tiger already changed to a BMW, I can’t fall behind.”

Monopolizing small neighborhoods was definitely a fertile industry.

But for monopoly, he must have a backing strong enough to hold down the property in the neighborhood; then he would also need all kinds of workers on hand and a bunch of brothers that were willing to help him.

Otherwise, why would others let you get rich?

For those who are not convinced, Zhang Depeng’s method is very simple. It’s to finish them off.

Thinking of this, Zhang Depeng felt a little angry. The youngster he met today was disrespectful. He seemed to be working for a small renovation company. It seemed like he had to “speak” with the owner of the renovation company first.

For that b*stard to get lost.

Just then, a brawny man working under him ran over. “Brother Peng, that youngster brought men to move the boards.”

“What?”

Zhang Depeng was already angered, and he exploded when he heard the news, bolting upright. “Get Da Fa and the others to follow me there. He sure has guts.”

“Zhong Tong and Yang Pingan, move these boards to the 26th floor.”

Yang Pingan and Zhong Tong were the two zombies who looked like strong men. In terms of appearance, they had a physique that satisfied Lu Chuan.

Uncle Zombie was much thinner than them.

He was satisfied with their exterior, but their shortcomings were the same, inheriting the characteristics of zombies, making them complete fools. They didn’t have a mind of their own and would only move at his command.

The human form of an ordinary zombie definitely had a pale face, which seemed sickly at first glance.

Of course, as compared to their strength and mechanical endurance, it wasn’t considered a shortcoming.

After receiving Lu Chuan’s instructions, the two big silly zombies, Zhong Tong and Yang Pingan, did not hesitate. Two humans were needed to carry one board, but the two of them carried one each and went upstairs.

Lu Chuan hugged his arms and leaned against the elevator door.

Uncle Zombie, Guo Zheng, and Zhou Yinghao stood beside Lu Chuan coldly like statues.

The occupants and workers that passed all sped up when they saw Uncle Zombie and the others. It was as though they saw something evil.

I have got to say, a zombie’s endurance is incredible.

They were like robots that couldn’t feel exhaustion. Yang Pingan and Zhong Tong carried the boards up to the 26th floor in one breath, threw the boards on the floor, and climbed the stairs back down.

When they reached the first floor, they didn’t even pant.

Lu Chuan tapped his forehead. They really were dumb. Going up, they had to take the stairs since the boards couldn’t fit in the elevator, but couldn’t they take the elevator when they came down?

Lu Chuan shook his head. With a zombie’s intelligence, accomplishing the command was already exceeding expectations. What more could he ask for?

Yang Pingan and Zhong Tong grabbed another board each, prepared to climb the stairs.

“Stop.”

Right at this moment, Zhang Depeng brought three of his brawny men over. He saw that the little lad had really gotten someone to move the boards and there was actually someone who dared to accept the work. How could Zhang Depeng not get mad?

He howled, but that didn’t affect Yang Pingan or Zhong Tong. To them, Lu Chuan was the only person in this world that could give them orders. No one else mattered.

In their minds, they didn’t even register Zhang Depeng’s voice.

They didn’t stop and continued to carry the boards, disappearing up the stairs.

Angry flames burned in Zhang Depeng’s eyes. “F*ck.”

Lu Chuan crossed his arms and revealed a faint sneer.

When Zhang Depeng saw the two men walk upstairs, he didn’t give chase. Even if they left, the little lad was still here.

Zhang Depeng grinned nastily and said, “Boy, you’re bold.”

“Why? Are you going to beat me?” Lu Chuan remained unmoved.

The brawny men who followed Zhang Depeng were there, and the one called Da Fa stood up. There was a tiger with hanging eyes tattooed on his arm, adding a fierce air to him. With a swoosh, he stood in front of Lu Chuan.

With the increase in hostility, Uncle Zombie and the other two who had been standing behind Lu Chuan moved to stand in front of Da Fa.

“Oh.”

Da Fa burst into laughter. He was highly valued by Brother Peng because of his ruthlessness and ability to take action. In a society governed by law, there were few people who dared to take action, which made Da Fa more valuable.

When he saw the three of them, it wasn’t just Da Fa who laughed; Zhang Depeng and the others burst out laughing as well.

One of them was an old man, another was a young child, and the third a sickly man that could easily be blown away by a gust of wind. Did these three think they could stand up against him?

After laughing, Da Fa felt a sense of shame.

Who did they think he was?

He was one of the top in his line of work and yet, this group dared to stop him? If news spread, he was going to be mocked by those in his industry.

Lu Chuan sneered. “Guo Zheng, show him.”

The ruthless old zombie stood up. His expression remained unchanged, his pale face extremely cold.

“Old man, go home and enjoy your life!” Da Fa yelled.

Without showing any politeness (zombies don’t know the meaning of polite), he reached out and grabbed the brawny Da Fa.

Zombies didn’t have moves.

Da Fa had been worried since his opponent was an old man. If he hit too hard and something happened, the matter would blow up. When he saw the old man claw at him, he held up his arm to block the old man’s hand.

Zhang Depeng and the others weren’t afraid. With Da Fa’s build, it would be an easy takedown.

But…

In the apocalypse, the survivors would definitely treat a zombie’s bite or scratch like that of a poisonous scorpion or snake.

Hence, it was a tragedy for Da Fa.

When he blocked, Da Fa felt a massive force smash down on him. He felt as though his arm had broken.

“Aiyo!”

Da Fa cried out. Before he could retract his arm, Guo Zheng’s five fingers clasped the tiger’s mouth, his thin hand seemingly an iron clamp.

The pain was severe and even a brawny man like Da Fa wasn’t able to withstand it. His thighs weakened.

Guo Zheng’s hand was so strong that he pushed his arm down, causing Da Fa’s arm to tighten and his palm to rotate approximately 180 degrees. His arm almost twisted like a Mahua (fried dough twist).

“F*ck.” It was as though his arm wasn’t his anymore. Da Fa, the brawny man, couldn’t hold on anymore and his knees hit the ground. He let out a ghastly howl.

“This…”

The relaxed Zhang Depeng and his crew were dumbfounded by the turn of events. Wasn’t he going to trample the old man? But now, the strong Da Fa was brought down by a senior.

This was the entrance hall of the building, where many owners and workers would pass.

When they saw a scene unravelling, they stopped to watch.

Previously, many people were worried about the weak old man, but who would have thought that this old man was so fierce that he could push a strong man down?

This scene startled them.

Guo Zheng’s techniques were definitely simple and violent.

Zhang Depeng’s face fell and he said, “Xiang Zi, give him a hand.”

Xiang Zi was also a sturdy man with a height of around 1.7 meters. He took a step forward, but a thin figure stopped in front of him. It was the young Zhou Yinghao, a twelve-year-old kid.

“F*ck, are you looking down on me?” A kid of about twelve years old with a height of 1.5 meters was practically a baby in front of a grown man with a sturdy frame.

But…

The little kid’s cold expression and hollow eyes looked horrifying.

Xiang Zi gritted his teeth and stretched out his hand to grab Zhou Yinghao’s collar. His idea was simple: lift the opponent and throw him aside. With his well-worked arm, he could carry a hundred pounds, not to mention this little kid who was only sixty or seventy pounds.

“Ahhh!”

A scream pierced through the air, and Xiang Zi’s wrist was covered in blood.

There was blood on Zhou Yinghao’s fingers from when he grabbed Xiang Zi’s wrist. Zhou Yinghao was fierce. A zombie would only think about clawing and nothing else.

“F*ck.” Xiang Zi was infuriated. Disregarding his pain, he slapped Zhou Yinghao’s little face fiercely.

Pa!

The slap contained his anger, and the force was so great that a grown man wouldn’t have been able to withstand it. His face was slightly bruised.

Zhou Yinghao swayed slightly but remained standing like a piece of wood, not a single expression on his face. It was as though he hadn’t been beaten. He didn’t cry out in pain or retreat. His fingers turned into claws and he started to claw about manically.

He was just a twelve-year-old little kid, but he had more strength than Xiang Zi and the maniacal clawing was a disaster for himi.

In the blink of an eye, Xiang Zi’s clothes were torn and there were scratches all over his body.

There were several bloodstains on his face from Zhou Yinghao’s nails. It was as though he had been scratched by a shrew.

Xiang Zi was in a pathetic state.

Lu Chuan raised his eyebrows. If they were in the apocalypse, it wouldn’t have just been an infection. The zombies would use the biting method, which was deadly and would definitely kill him. If he saw Zhou Yinghao’s true appearance, he would have ran faster than anyone.

Frankly speaking, the modern-day zombies had been merciful. If it wasn’t for Lu Chuan’s fear of causing trouble, these guys could be handled in minutes.

At this moment, Uncle Zombie walked toward Zhang Depeng. He seemed frail and sickly but had a chilling presence. He took large strides and flexed his arm. A brawny man that tried to stop Uncle Zombie staggered and was pushed down by Uncle Zombie’s massive strength. He fell straight onto the ground.

“What are you trying to do?”

Zhang Depeng couldn’t help shivering at Uncle Zombie’s incredible power.

Who are these people? It’s bad enough that the old man is so fierce, now the little kid is crazy. Why isn’t this sickly man in the hospital? What is he doing here?!
