Adams brought Vivian up the mountain and helped her bandage her wounds by a red creek. However, her clothes were damaged from the battle, revealing her tender skin.

“Let’s rest for a while! Then, we should make a move!”

Adams helped Vivian to the only large rock on the far side of the creek. Then, he got up, dusted his hands and said this in a very serious tone. However, his eyes kept inadvertently glancing over Vivian’s body.

Vivian turned her body to the side in embarrassment, avoiding Adams’ gaze. Fishing out two pieces of black bread from her quantum ring embedded with rainbow gems, she handed one of them to Adams and said, “Let’s replenish our energy first!”

Adams accepted the black bread, and couldn’t help but lament inwardly, Aristocrats are indeed extraordinary. During times when ordinary people treated a bowl of animal-feed-like soup as a delicious meal, Vivian still had bread as food!

However, after Adams took a bite of the bread, he immediately began to sympathize with the aristocrats of this world.

The texture of this black bread was truly terrible. Not only was it as hard as a rock, but even if one chewed it and swallowed it, it was like swallowing a thousand needles. Instantly, he felt a burning pain in his throat.

Then, he looked at Vivian and saw that she was also eating cautiously and frowning when she swallowed.

“Forget it, I’m not used to eating this food!”

Adams shook his head and decided to give up. He put the black bread into his quantum ring and prepared to keep it as a weapon for self-defense. Then, he took out an apple and a small piece of honeycomb and started gobbling them down.

When Vivian saw the food in Adams’ hand, she blinked in disbelief. Is this the so-called ‘fruit’ that is recorded in books?

What shocked Vivian was that Adams actually had fruits to eat!

In the present era, the most precious thing in the human world was definitely not magic scrolls, martial arts skills, or high-grade cultivation materials, but food!

In an era where both cultivators and ordinary people were shrouded in famine, no one could resist food. They would even give up all kinds of important resources for it.

In some places, it was said that food had even replaced currency and become the hard currency of trade.

In particular, fresh fruits and vegetables which were on the verge of extinction, had prices that were immeasurable!

There was once an old aristocrat who just wanted to eat a portion of vegetable salad before he died and was even willing to use a city to exchange for it. In the end, he could only die with regrets.

Yet, Adams had eaten such a valuable item!

Looking at the juices flowing out of Adams’ mouth and smelling the sweet scent in the air, Vivian tried hard to remind herself of the aristocratic education she had received since she was young to keep her composure at a time like this and also to not gulp.

However, the temptation of the fruit was too strong. Vivian still subconsciously swallowed her saliva.

Noticing Vivian’s reaction, Adams retrieved two more apples and a large piece of honeycomb and handed them to her.

“Th-this is for me?” Vivian asked in surprise. She raised her hands a few times, but then lowered them again.

Adams nonchalantly said, “In the future, use this food to replenish your stamina. The effects will be better!”

Vivian couldn’t believe her ears. How can someone use such precious food to replenish their energy? What a waste!

However, Vivian was greatly encouraged by Adams’ generous tone. Eventually, she mustered up her courage and took the apple and honeycomb from Adams’ hands.

Under Adams’ astonished gaze, Vivian took out a small knife from her ring and carefully cut off a small piece of apple followed by a thin layer of honeycomb. She then carefully placed them in her mouth, closed her eyes, and slowly savoured them.

The crisp sweetness of the apple combined with the sweetness and softness of the honeycomb instantly made Vivian feel a blissfulness that she had never felt before. Every pore on her body exuded a sense of satisfaction!

“Isn’t it just a bite of an apple? Why does this girl look like she’s having an orgasm?” Adams looked at Vivian with a perplexed expression as he stroked the stubble on his chin.

Finally, Vivian slowly opened her eyes and wiped away the tears from her eyes. She put the remaining apple and honeycomb into her quantum ring before standing up and giving Adams a deep bow.

“Thank you! This is a feeling I’ve never experienced before. It’s simply wonderful!” Vivian thanked Adams sincerely.

“Err… You’re welcome. Looks like you’ll be able to experience it many more times!” Adams replied to her while scratching his head.

Vivian rose to her feet, and her aura instantly changed. She turned to look at the vast mountain forest, and said, “Now, we need to come up with a plan to search for the scattered survivors and unite everyone to survive together!”

Adams walked to Vivian’s side and turned his head to look at this woman who had suddenly become more imposing. He murmured in surprise, “I didn’t think that apples can make people orgasm, and also revive them with full health power.”

“What?” Vivian turned to Adam and asked with curiosity.

Adams quickly explained, “Nothing! Erm, I’m talking about the plan. Seeing how confident you are, you must have a plan in mind already. Why don’t you elaborate? I’ll see if there’s anything I can add!”

“Alright!”

Vivian readily agreed and said, “If we want to fight against the unknown and obtain endless resources, we need enough manpower and weapons. Therefore, we should go back to the camp immediately and persuade Anthony to understand the importance of our companions and search for the remaining survivors with us!”

Adams shook his head and disagreed, “No, no, your cousin doesn’t need companions. He only needs cannon fodders to die for him! We can skip the part about your cousin and go straight to the part about saving those unlucky people who are still alive!”

Although Vivian suspected that Adams was a descendant of a military noble, she still argued, “No matter what you think of Anthony, just the two of us are not enough. We don’t even have weapons to fight!”

“Who says we don’t? The weapon is right under your feet!” Adams said calmly.

Vivian refuted angrily, “Please don’t patronize me, alright?”

Adams didn’t explain further. He turned around and walked to the stone that Vivian had sat on just now. He reached out and pushed the stone away, only to see that there was an iron box under the stone!

“Huh?” Vivian turned around, and raised an eyebrow in surprise.

Adams opened the metal box and saw a deep blue longsword, a scarlet crystal bow, and a quiver containing ten scarlet crystal arrows!

“Hint! Congratulations to the Host for obtaining an S-rank weapon, Winter Sword; an S-rank weapon, Bow of Death; and an A-rank weapon accessory, Arrows of Death!”

Adams picked up the Winter Sword and stuffed the Bow of Death and the Arrows of Death into Vivian’s hands. He then said to her, “From now on, we’ll carry out my plan!”
