Chapter 31: She Has Nothing to Do with Me

“I don’t know Jiang Xue. Is she your old flame?”
Helian Ze replied hastily, “No, no, she has nothing to do with me.”
“Now then, take me to see her. She was trying to kidnap and kill me, but I don’t think I’ve seen her. Jiang Xue was kept in a small villa under close guard. She had no freedom of action. Except for the person who brought her meals, no one would talk to her. So, after being imprisoned for several days, she was having a nervous breakdown.

Jian Rushi walked out from behind Helian Ze and said, “It seems that you two had a romance before.”

Helian Ze quickly reached out his hands to catch her into his arms.
Seeing that she fainted, Helian Ze panicked. He immediately picked her up and before he ran out of the villa, he said to Jiang Xue, “You will spend the rest of your life in prison.” Then he took Jian Rushi to the hospital.
Jiang Xue was speaking about those trifles again and again. But when she heard what Helian Ze said, she stopped abruptly, stared at his receding figure, and then burst into loud sobbing.
Jiang Xue was not reconciled to her defeat. She had known him for so long, and refused so many other men because of him. Jian Rushi was good for nothing. How could she be defeated by such a useless woman?
Helian Ze brought Jian Rushi to the hospital for a check-up. Then he was told that she was pregnant for a month. Obviously, a month ago in the hotel, he had got a hole in one.
