The mirror showed an image of a completely rotten face, filled with worms and flies .
“How… how did this happen? Are these her true colors?”
Ye Shaoyang turned the Eight Trigram Mirror around, “This mirror has two sides . One shows you the truth, one shows you the karma . Her true body is a corpse, nothing much to see . Xie Yuqing took a deep breath to calm herself down . Suddenly, the room door was opened . The duo stared down in anticipation . Accountant Liu came into the room with a bowl of red liquid in his hands . He gently passed it to the old woman on the bed, “Mommy, I bought you something different today . It’s cow’s blood . Drink it while it’s still warm . ”
“Mmm . ” The old woman reached out her hands, which were as skinny as bird’s claws, and took the bowl from Accountant Liu . Then, she gulped the bowl of blood down in one breath .
Xie Yuqing almost puked upon seeing this . Accountant Liu, on the other hand, was happy to see his mom satisfied with the blood . He took the now empty bowl from her and said, “Mommy, please get some rest, while I prepare some beef for you . It won’t take long . ”
Right after Accountant Liu left the room, an unlucky bat flew into the house through the window on the roof . It flew around the room, looking for a way out .
Suddenly, Granny Liu stood up . Her eyes brightened up, as she stared at the bat with hungry eyes . Meanwhile, the bat was unaware of the danger it was about to face, and it flew passed her several more times . Granny Liu jumped up into the air with lightning speed and grabbed the bat . She was so quick in her action, it was almost hard to believe she was the fragile old woman resting on the bed just a minute ago .
Granny Liu caught the bat and directly ate it whole . She chewed it alive like a snack, and fresh blood dripped down from her mouth, as she enjoyed her little meal with a satisfied look on her face .
Xie Yuqing could not take the sight anymore, so she backed away from the window to catch her breath . Then, she turned to Ye Shaoyang with a horrified look on her face, “What do we do now?”
“There’s no other choice; we have to get down and kill her . ”
Xie Yuqing frowned, “You mean, without her son noticing?”
“Of course . You saw how he treated her . If we kill his mother in front of him, there’s no way he will keep quiet about it . If he reports us, how should you explain this to your boss? Convince your boss that we were killing an undead?”
“Then… it’s your call . ” Xie Yuqing thought for a while, “However, doesn’t Accountant Liu realize his mother is not a human anymore?”

Ye Shaoyang looked back into the window . The old woman was now done with her snack . She had returned to her bed and was lying on the bed motionless again, as if nothing had happened .
Chopping sounds could be heard from the outside of the room now . Ye Shaoyang guessed that Accountant Liu was preparing meat for his mother, so he would not come into the room for now . Ye Shaoyang steadied himself at the side of the window and leaped with an agile move while looking up at Xie Yuqing, “You… . ”
Xie Yuqing leaped down too, following Ye Shaoyang, while she asked, “What?”
“I was about to ask you to stay where you were . ” Ye Shaoyang shrugged helplessly . He looked at the bed . The old woman had stood up from her bed and was staring at the duo with lust . She let out a deep growl like an animal .
Xie Yuqing hid behind Ye Shaoyang, as she asked in fear, “What does she want?”
“She is treating us as her food now . ”
“Seriously? Doesn’t she realize that you are a Heavenly Master?”
“She has no soul . Her cultivation is not enough to judge yet . ” Ye Shaoyang wielded his Date Wooden Sword and stabbed at the old woman .
The old woman grabbed the sword . To her, it felt like she had grabbed fire with her bare hands, as black smoke rose into the air . At the same time, her skin was burned away . She quickly let go of the sword and took a few steps back .
“How dare you even grab my sword? Now you have tasted its power . ” Ye Shaoyang laughed a little as he wielded his sword and stabbed at the old woman again . This time, she knew better to avoid it . She got down on her knees and crawled to the side as quick as lightning .
Ye Shaoyang carefully observed as she crawled around on the floor . He frowned a little, as the old woman moved around the room in a circle . When Xie Yuqing realized that she was in danger, the old woman was already a feet away from Xie Yuqing, with both her hands extended out, wanting to grab her .
“With the power of Yin and Yang!” Ye Shaoyang waved the sword in the air and chopped at the old woman’s arms . Both arms were instantly detached from her body, and no blood was even shed . The old woman yelled in pain, as it backed into a corner .
“Trying to escape?” Ye Shaoyang raised his hand and darted out eight copper coins at her . Five of the coins pinned to the floor, while the rest pinned into the wall, forming a barrier that trapped the old woman . The old woman tried to run, but a golden ray emitted by the coins bounced the old woman back into place .
Ye Shaoyang did not want to waste any more time . He rushed toward the lady . Just as he raised his sword and was about to slash the old lady into pieces, a loud thump suddenly sounded from behind him . Ye Shaoyang turned back . Xie Yuqing was lying on the floor in pain, with her hands covering her head . A furious looking man stood behind her, with a long wooden stick in his hands .
It was Accountant Liu! When did he get into the room?
“I’ll kill you both!” Accountant Liu wielded his wooden stick and struck toward Ye Shaoyang’s head . Ye Shaoyang avoided it swiftly and responded by hitting the man’s hand, knocking away the stick . With his other hand, Ye Shaoyang gripped Accountant Liu by his neck and pushed him to the wall .
“Little Ye, don’t hurt him!”
Xie Yuqing’s voice suddenly came from behind him . Ye Shaoyang turned back . She had already gotten up on her feet, although her hand was still rubbing her head, obviously pained . Ye Shaoyang worriedly asked, “Are you okay?”
“I’m fine . Not hurt . ” Xie Yuqing looked up at Accountant Liu, “Don’t hurt him . He is innocent . ”
