Ye Shaoyang took out some copper beads and threw them at the creature . It growled instantly, as the spots struck by the beads boiled with white foam . The creature shook in pain, but this only angered the creature . It roared, as it leaped toward Ye Shaoyang .
Ye Shaoyang avoided it with a swift move, and he gripped the creature by its hair . He pulled hard, and the creature fell backward . Before the creature could get up, Ye Shaoyang pinned it onto the floor by its neck with his knee . With his other hand, he quickly reached out for a talisman paper and stuck it onto the creature’s head . Then, he dipped his fingers with red ink and drew onto the talisman paper .
“With the power of Yin and Yang, absorb the evil power within!”
As soon as he finished chanting, a trail of black Qi rose from the creature’s skin . The black Qi streamed upward steadily until the talisman paper absorbed it all .
The creature struggled for a little while longer, as it weakened little by little . Before long, it laid motionless on the floor .
“All done?” Xie Yuqing walked forward to get a closer look at the creature, “Is this an undead?”
“Kinda . A demon undead . It’s a kind of undead . ” Ye Shaoyang said . He plucked a handful of white fur from the creature and sniffed it with a disgusted frown . He pointed at the lower body of the creature, “His legs must have been eaten by some kind of devil . Demon Qi invaded his body, and it mixed with the hateful Qi inside him . Since the mix of Qi could not escape, it turned him into a demon undead . ”
“A demon?” Xie Yuqing frowned, “Where did it come from?”
“How would I know . ” Ye Shaoyang stood up and told Xie Yuqing to take care of the body . Xie Yuqing quickly instructed her men to do the job . Ye Shaoyang observe the room a little further, “Was this room locked all this time?”
A policeman answered, “Yes, it was . The neighbors who reported this incident saw it through the window and reported to us . Nobody dared to enter the room since there was such a scary creature inside . We need to thank you for settling the problem for us, Mister Ye . ”
Ye Shaoyang came forward to the room door . There was an air window on the door . It was quite wide like a glass window in a hospital ward . Ye Shaoyang pointed at the window, “Since the door is locked, the murderer must have entered the room through this . ”
Xie Yuqing was taken aback, “Isn’t there a window? Why wouldn’t it enter through the window?”
Ye Shaoyang said, “The window bar was not wide enough for a person to enter; this would be the only way . ”

“The white fur was created by demon Qi the murderer left behind . There’s a trail of human Qi in it . So, the murderer is also a demon undead, and it is much more powerful than this one . ”
As he was speaking, Ye Shaoyang removed a nail from the air window . There was a piece of flesh attached to it . Ye Shaoyang observed the piece of flesh, “This must belong to the murderer . ”
Xie Yuqing approached him, “Can we get this tested at the lab?”
“Sure, if you think that will be helpful . ”
Xie Yuqing ordered a policeman to carefully store away the piece of evidence before she continued asking, “Why does a demon undead kill? Where does it go after killing a person?”

After ten minutes, the lime powder reacted . Part of it turned black, revealing foot and handprints on the floor . It was a trail that came from the door into and exiting the house .
The footprints suggested that the creature was barefooted and crawled on the floor . Xie Yuqing observed the footprint, “These feet are small in size, it must belong to a woman . ”
Ye Shaoyang nodded, “Now you have some clues, so let’s investigate . ”
Xie Yuqing thought for a while, “Can we use the same method to find out where it went? We’ll pour lime powder on the road and follow the trail . ”

Xie Yuqing looked at him with a smile, “I can see you are doing better now too . You took this better than I expected . ”
Ye Shaoyang knew exactly what she meant, “I have been doing this job for such a long time . I’ve seen a lot of deaths . Besides, Tan Xiaohui didn’t really die . ”
