The second post: Terrifying scene at the Demon Wolf Valley of 00520 novice village as a purple dragon hovers across the sky (with videos attached).

As he looked at the date the post was uploaded, it should be before the system announcement. He wasn’t curious at all about the situation at the Demon Wolf Valley because he was there personally. Therefore, he went on to the third post.

The third post: Cat monster found at 00520 novice village that aimed for players. Super powerful and brutal at the same time!

The third post was about Chikage which was something that he already knew, so he didn’t care about it either.

Then, he continued looking through some of the posts that had more number of clicks and amongst them, there were three that were about him. There was one about Jiang Ming killing the three brothers, another one about him trading for ore and the last one was about him reaching level 10.

All three of these posts had a high number of clicks which instantly made him famous.

The other posts were about monsters and missions and there were even some rubbish posts. Since he wasn’t interested in these, he closed the public forum and went to the premium forum.

The premium forum contained mostly strategy posts and would only be posted once they were approved by the system.

However, there weren’t many posts on the premium forum.

Amongst the strategy for certain missions and to level up, there was one monster’s strategy that he was interested in.

This monster’s strategy was actually a video and it cost him 10 yuan as he clicked onto it. There was only a video with no text introduction and it was uploaded by a player named ‘Bali’.

As the video started playing, there was a man in a blue suit with a long sword as he faced a giant lizard boss.

In order to show how difficult the battle was, he revealed his character’s name and level.

The main character that uploaded it was Bali who was level 5, but the lizard boss was level 8. There was a difference of 3 levels between both parties, but Bali who was only level 5 had a major advantage over the boss.

Bali’s attack was exactly what it needed to break the lizard’s defense and each time he attacked, he took away 21 HP from the boss. The lizard’s attack was also very powerful. There was one time when Bali could not dodge it and was hit by its tail, which immediately took away about one-third of his HP.

At this moment, Bali’s voice sounded from the video.

“The giant lizard has 4 types of attacks: the mouth, claws, tail and venom. Therefore, before fighting this boss, make sure you have the antidote potion ready. The other three attacks are easy to dodge. When it attacks with its mouth, all four of its limbs would slightly jerk and when you see this happening, make sure you start moving. Otherwise, once it starts attacking, it will come at an extremely fast speed and you may not be able to dodge it. Just like this…”Just as Bali attacked the giant lizard with his sword, all four limbs of the lizard started quivering. Bali quickly moved backwards to the left and right after he retreated, the giant lizard suddenly fluttered and immediately appeared at the spot where Bali was before this. One could only imagine how quick the attack was.

“Then, this is how you dodge an attack from its claw…”

  …

“This person’s reflex ability is quite good and it looks like he has been trained by a martial arts expert,” Chikage said after watching the video as it licked onto its paw.

“True.” Jiang Ming nodded his head. “This guy is good and his understanding of the lizard is pretty accurate. Just that this post was a little expensive, but since it came with an analysis, I guess it’s actually still quite worth the price.”

When Jiang Ming saw that there were already thousands of people who had paid to watch the video, he had a look of envy on his face. If there’s a thousand people who had paid to watch, it meant that he would have earned a total of ten thousand yuan. Even if he had to share 50% of the profit with the game, he would still have five thousand yuan. An analysis post about how to kill monsters had earned more than his original monthly income, it would obviously make him envious.

In fact, he actually had a recorded video as well in his account. However, the video wasn’t a strategy post which meant that he wouldn’t be able to charge the other players for watching it. Of course, he could write his own strategy and upload it, but if there were no pictures or videos attached with it, no one would actually believe since he had no proof that his strategy actually worked. The other posts on the forum were good examples of this situation.

After closing the premium forum, he opened the system announcement.

Update;

1: Profession system activated. Players above level 10 can be transported to all 36 cities in Divine Land, in order to choose a customise profession.

2: Clan system activated. Once players have chosen their profession, players would be able to join clans. There are only two clans at this point: Demon and Holy Clan.

3: Ranking system activated. These include level ranking, equipment ranking and reputation ranking.

“Once the clan system was activated, the game would be much more interesting.”

Jiang Ming kept his pendant and muttered to himself.

Once the clan system was activated, players would be divided into two groups and they would also be divided into cities under the jurisdiction of both the camps. Since both the clans were enemies, it meant that players would start killing each other when they encountered. If you managed to kill someone from the opposite clan, you would gain glory value and these glory values could be exchanged for some rare items.

“Yo, Xiao Ming, why are you still walking around this late?”

He had been in the jam for 24 hours and it was already night time now. As he walked into the night market, a middle-aged man who sold skewers there asked Jiang Ming.

“Yeah, I was hungry… So I decided to have some skewers here.” Jiang Ming laughed awkwardly as he walked towards Brother Zhang and sat at an empty table.

The middle-aged man who owned the skewer store looked at Jiang Ming curiously. “Xiao Ming, am I hearing you correctly? I have known you for almost three years and the only time you ever ate at my stall was during New Year’s Eve. What’s happening?”

Jiang Ming revealed a bitter smile. Brother Zhang was right, it was because he had to save up money for his sister’s tuition fee. In order to make sure that he didn’t starve to death, he had only eaten the skewers here once. As he thought about the past three years, he really didn’t know how he survived.

“Nothing much. I got a new job and managed to earn some money, so i wanted to reward myself,” Jiang Ming replied perfunctorily. “Brother Zhang, give me a mutton skewer. I haven’t had it for the past three years and I already forgot what it tastes like.”

“It’s great that you have a new job now. It’s much better than collecting garbage. It doesn’t matter how much more you make, but at least no one would look down on you now.” While roasting a mutton skewer, Brother Zhang continued to chat with Jiang Ming.

Since it was already about eleven at night, there were not many people at the stall. As the other customers started leaving, Jiang Ming was the only one left.

Brother Zhang brought a few bottles of beer for Jiang Ming. While he poured a glass of beer, he looked at Chikage who was sitting right next to Jiang Ming. Then, he tore a small piece of mutton and gave it to Chikage. “Looks like you’re earning quite a bit since you can even afford a pet now.”

“Pet? This is just a stray cat that kept following me. I didn’t want to abandon it, so i decided to keep it.”

Jiang Ming picked up the glass of beer and finished it in one gulp. Then, he took a look at Chikage and smiled. Chikage, on the other hand, was enjoying its food and it ignored Jiang Ming as a way to show its anger.

“Little Ming, did you know that there was a plane that exploded the other day? I heard that there are a lot of high officials here now, even the mayor is here. The entire place was flooded with people. That scene…”

“Really? Tell me about it…” When Jiang Ming heard Brother Zhang talking about the plane crash, he pretended to not know anything about it. Then, Brother Zhang started telling him the story while slamming the table once in a while.

“Bang~”

Just as the both of them were engrossed in the story, a beer bottle suddenly landed next to their feet and both Jiang Ming and Brother Zhang were caught off guard.

Jiang Ming who was shocked turned pale and looked towards the direction where the bottle came from.
