At the Abandoned Mining Area, after the bandit leader went on a killing spree and exterminated more than 200 players, the news about the Boss appearing in the area spread like wildfire throughout the game.

More and more players came because of the news, hoping that they could gain something out of the chaos.

There were only so many players who would drop items after their death and the odds for players below level 10 were further lowered.

Nevertheless, after following the bandit leader around as he killed the 200-odd players, Mohai was able to pick up several pieces of low-level equipment along the way.

Thankfully, low-level equipment was shared between players and the NPC, so Mohai was able to equip them after picking them up.

The setting for a humanoid monster in the game was actually an NPC that would oppose the Adventurers. In the middle or later stage of the game, there would be more Adventurer-exclusive items or NPC-exclusive items to collect. Whenever an Adventurer picked up an NPC-exclusive item and vice versa, the only way to make use of the item would be to trade with the respective party.

There were four items: a pair of green cloth shoes, an iron wrist guard, old leather gaiters, and a bronze ring. They boosted Mohai’s HP to 1050 and his Physical Defense to 42. On top of that, there was also an extra effect of recovering 5 HP per second with the ring.

The effect of recovering 5 HP per second would be obsolete in a few days, but on the first day of the game, the player who lost this item would certainly feel heartache.

At the current stage, players did not have access to potions which were quite a decent recovery method for low-level players.

The bandit leader saw Mohai pick several pieces of equipment up while the five other bandit goons only had one each, but he did not say anything. He could afford the deaths of the other bandit goons but not Mohai because the latter was their guide to the black iron ores.

[Powerful Sweep!]

More and more players came because of the news, especially when they noticed that the bandit leader’s Magical Defense was a lot weaker than his Physical Defense. A swarm of Sorcerers also joined the crowd.

More parties surrounded the bandit leader and a dozen Sorcerers were furiously tossing [Fireballs] at him from more than 10 meters away.

A single [Fireball] attack could inflict damage of 10 to 20 HP on the bandit leader, so it was much more effective than physical attacks.

Chipping away at the bandit leader’s 5,000 HP would take them around 300 to 400 [Fireballs], and if a dozen Sorcerers attacked together, he would not last long.

However, after being hit by a dozen of [Fireballs] later and losing around 200 to 300 HP, the bandit leader shouted furiously and swung the giant wooden club at the players, unleashing a bright yellow flash.

It was the first time that he was unleashing a skill and it encompassed a large area, covering a radius of 20 meters!

-330, -321, -308…

Red damage counters popped up one after another and what followed was a large area of light that signified death called death lights.

Every player within the range of [Powerful Sweep] was killed with a single blow!

[Powerful Sweep]

Before the dozen party leaders could react to the situation, the bandit leader raised his weapon up and unleashed another [Powerful Sweep].

20 to 30 more death lights shone across the area.

“Retreat! Retreat now!”

The surviving players panicked when they saw the bandit leader raise his weapon to unleash another [Powerful Sweep].

‘Fighting the bandit leader without Magicians and Sorcerers is really a suicidal attempt,’ grumbled Mohai in his heart.

The bandit leader only had one area of effect attack using the [Powerful Sweep], and he would only use the skill when he was attacked by multiple magical attacks or ranged attacks within a short period or when his HP dropped to 10%.

The skill normally had a 30-second cooldown time, but if it could kill a player or damage at least three players in a single strike, the cooldown time would be reset.

It was said that in the early stage of the game, a lot of parties who tried to kill the bandit leader were tormented back and forth by the [Powerful Sweep].

Since it had a high damage area of effect or AOE and was a skill that practically had no cooldown time, the sound of [Powerful Sweep] alone would throw the players into despair.

However, it was actually quite easy to counter this seemingly [Powerful Sweep].

As long as there was a Magician in the party who cast [Silence] when the bandit leader raised his weapon, [Powerful Sweep] would be interrupted and forced to cool down.

Another counterattack would be for the party members to dodge the skill by scattering away. If the skill could hit less than three players, it would go into cooldown mode and the players would have a chance to break through the bandit leader’s defense. However, this strategery demanded a higher sense of tactic as a slight misstep would wipe out the entire party.

[Silence] was only available to a Magician after officially accepting the occupation at Level 10. Magicians on Levels 3 and 4 only had a single ancillary skill that could cast a debuff to minus several defense points from the target and a debuff to their own damage over time.

At the early stage of the game, there were basically no Magicians around and the occupation would only surge after Level 10.

Many Sorcerers who wanted to attack the bandit leader together were forced to retreat in a panic after they saw how easily he wiped out the vanguards.

The Sorcerers only had [Fireball] which was more like a discounted trial version, and the farthest attack range was only 15 meters.

The bandit leader’s [Powerful Sweep] had a range of 20 meters. If the Sorcerers attacked, they would be caught by [Powerful Sweep] and die.

“Hey, hey, is that it? Isn’t anyone trying anymore?” Mohai was rendered speechless by the players’ performance.

To Level 3 and 4 players, the bandit leader was just too strong. Overpowering the bandit leader with human wave tactics was not that difficult, but relying on this bunch of misfits to execute it was not very reliable.

The crowd was restless as a dozen more players arrived. Mohai studied the new batch and somehow showed some interest.

It was FallenMoon and LadyDragon from the Blooming Dream guild! Finally, there was a much more organized party!

Despite FallenMoon and LadyDragon facing pressure from DancingSandstorm from the start of the game, they were able to lead the Blooming Dream into steady development. They were indeed capable ladies!

Although they did not reach the level of Iron Legion and make their way to the top 10 guilds of the Huaxia Area, they were considered a famous guild in the game at one point in the game. It was until that ominous incident, Blooming Dream disbanded overnight.

FallenMoon was known for her exceptional commanding capabilities and LadyDragon was the only female player in the top 10 Holy Knights of the Huaxia Area with outstanding powers.

With the two ladies, they might have a better chance of killing the bandit leader!

Mohai was energized when FallenMoon and LadyDragon appeared.

However, when a loli Warrior squeezed herself out from the crowd and entered Mohai’s sight, he tripped and almost smashed his head into the bandit leader.

Was this little girl also from Guggenheim?!

In the near future, the lolicons 1in the game community came up with a list called the Seven Lolis.

There were only that many lolis in the game, but getting on the list was not easy.

The first on the list was a pair of twin lolis.

With puffy cheeks, black hair, and round heads, they had the three major traits of having fewer words, fewer expressions, and being unpredictable. Besides that, they were Assassins that had an astonishing player kill or PK techniques. More importantly, the twin lolis shared the same characteristics as the legendary Twin Clan, so they were able to get their hands on a combined transformation skill, which allowed them to combine and transform into a lady, or a big sister in this case, while retaining the three major traits.

They had a large fan base in the game and were just a little shy from making lolicons and siscons 1kneel and worship them.

With all the traits and characteristics that captivated the hearts of men, the two lolis occupied the top spot of the list and were practically invincible.

The loli Warrior that had appeared was in the fifth place of the list as an average ranking because of her name and her rather busty body compared to the other lolis. However, in terms of reputation, she was on par with the twin lolis in the first place. She was nicknamed ‘StickyCandy’ and ‘Terrorist’.

Her nickname of StickyCandy was due to her heavy curiosity. Whenever she got hooked on a certain matter, she would be unstoppable and would stick to that matter until she got to the bottom of it. She was probably even stickier than a sticky candy.

This little girl loved Bosses in particular, and whenever there was a Boss fight, she would go to watch. A lone Warrior getting close to a Boss was almost impossible. Therefore, when the big guilds were having their Boss fight, she would take the opportunity to see the show.

The large guilds were used to clearing the premises during a Boss fight, thus her persistence to watch a show got her killed countless times to the point that killing her had become an appetizer before a Boss fight. Whenever she was not around for a Boss fight, those guilds would actually feel empty and hollow.

Once, one of the top 10 guilds, the Elemental Tower, had killed her without saying anything before a Boss fight.

On that afternoon, the guild leader of the Elemental Tower, Apathy, together with a group of higher-ups and core members of the guild were killed by the loli Warrior, who had charged furiously at them from a hundred meters away and activated her [Self-Destruction] skill. The entire group was wiped out!

Apathy was the first famous figure who she killed with [Self-Destruction] but was definitely not the last, and it was just the start of many.

For quite some time after the first kill, a dozen more guild leaders and core members of various guilds were killed by the little girl’s [Self-Destruction].

The annihilative power of [Self-Destruction] was efficacious and the penalty of it was a few times higher than that of normal death. A player would lose a level after being committing [Self-Destruction] twice.

At first, all the higher-ups of the guilds were furious after being killed by [Self-Destruction]. They swore to put an end to the ignorant loli’s crazy attempt and teach her a lesson.

However, the guilds soon learned that the little girl’s [Self-Destruction] never cost her any levels, and the items that she dropped after her death were always the worst she had.

The higher one’s level was, the harder it was to earn XP. The little girl barely lost anything from death, yet the guilds lost a whole bunch of higher-ups, equipment, and XP from it. If they were to tangle with the loli, their rivals would probably wake up from their sleep laughing.

Therefore, the guilds finally compromised and turned a blind eye to the loli even when she came to watch a Boss match.

Of course, there were always non-believers in the game who somehow made the little girl’s title of Terrorist even louder and scarier.

Mohai ran into the little girl on a certain mission and experienced her strong curiosity firsthand. Calling her StickyCandy was rather euphemistic, and after that encounter, he swore to walk the other way to avoid meeting her.

The girl came from Guggenheim, and if Mohai became a Boss, he might be on her watchlist.

However, it was not something that concerned him. If she dared to come close, he would just kill her. He would destroy her to the point that she would not dare show her face.

When he thought of tormenting the loli with all kinds of powerful skills of a Boss, Mohai somehow felt an unusual delight and excitement in his heart. Somehow, he looked forward to the appearance of the little girl after he became the Boss.
