Bu Yi stared at the durian. She scrunched up her nose and shouted, “Baili, eat it!”
Baili Changcheng glared at her. ‘Eat it? How do you eat a flying durian?’ He gritted his teeth, and his sword appeared in his hand. With his Ice Control, thin icicles wrapped themselves around the durian, and it was covered in a layer of ice. With a swing of his blade, it was split into two, and the tender flesh of the durian was exposed. Baili Changcheng rushed towards it and swallowed it in one bite.
—”You’ve consumed a durian. Your attack range has increased by 10 yards, and you deal 50% additional AOE damage.”
Lin Jie looked at Bu Yi in admiration. Who knew this girl would have such high sensitivity towards food?

“Roar! Geraint is hungry!” The Boss cried out after its health bar was depleted by 30%. A burst of energy came out from his body, forcing all the players to move back by 15 yards immediately. The Boss turned away and ran towards an antelope. In just the blink of an eye, the antelope, which was running around just one second ago, was turned into roasted meat that smelled delicious by the Boss’ ability.
Every time the Boss’ health bar dropped by 30%, it would release a huge burst of attack that knocked back the players while it immediately created some food. The roasted antelope gave the Boss an additional 60% increase in all stats! This was the hardest part about clearing the Holy Light Kitchen. Once the Boss consumed two to three dishes, its power would increase exponentially. Once the main tank was killed by its high damage, the rest of the team would be annihilated too.

After the 10 minutes were up, the Boss would lose all of its strength and enter a weakened state for 20 seconds, allowing the players to defeat it.
However, if the Boss were to be killed before it entered the weakened state, there would be a chance of getting special items as loot.
The special item would not be food. They would be items that were referred to as “Special Boss’ Drops” by players. In the game, certain equipment with great stats could only be dropped by specific Bosses. Those were the special items.
With Baili Changcheng’s Ice Control and Qiu Yuan’s Dark Fog, it was really easy to chase after the Boss and kill it. Zheng Ziliang’s Mechanical Gargoyle was hovering about the air as it waited for the right moment to dive down and attack the Boss brutally.
