With some effort, she managed to squeeze herself onto public transport. It was peak hour for work, so it was crowded. Ye Yunxi took a deep breath and worked her way to the back to get herself a seat.
“Hey?” The two people in the seat in front of her looked like Dad and his assistant.
Ye Yunxi leaned forward. It really was Dad.
What were they talking about?
She leaned further forward.
“Director Ye, what do we do now. It’s hard getting money.”
Zhang Yu had been assisting Ye Junpo for three years, and even though he had not been getting paid, he did not leave. This was because he had a passion for the industry.

“Dad wants a record.”

Zhang Yu drew out a piece of paper without giving it a second thought. It was a record of where the money had been spent, addresses, and contact details.
“Here, keep it safe, don’t lose it!”

Ye Yunxi smiled at him sweetly, her face lighting up and glowing so exuberantly that it put Zhang Yu in a daze.
