Amiletta murmured as she looked at it.
She thought that as it always had been, there would be a cease-fire at the right time after continuing a war of attrition.
It felt strange that the war ended so quickly and without much damage.
‘But where are they?’
Amiletta was looking at Alin searching for Soo Hyuk and Yeon Jeung.
They went on a reconnaissance of Alin. But now that she arrived in Alin, she couldn’t see them.
‘They’re not inside.’
Soo Hyuk has her mark. Had he been in Alin she would have felt it.
It was then that she heard a loud shot.

A small dot appeared in front of the castle gate.
Amiletta strengthened her sight through magi and was able to find out the identity of the small dot.
‘Kyrad!’
It was Kyrad.
‘You were here too.’
As expected, Kyrad was in Alin.
‘Is that what happened?’
Amiletta recalled Soo Hyuk and Yeon Jeung again. Kyrad is in Alin. What if they were attacked by him?

“Do you want to take off the pretenses in this situation? Weren’t you the one who ordered humans to attack our villages first?”

Thus, Amiletta and Kyrad quickly exchanged attacks and continued the battle.

At one point, Kyrad’s magi flew towards the ground.

Magi that touched the ground exploded and a cloud of dust rose. Kyrad disappeared in the cloud of dust.
Amiletta quickly widened the distance when she missed him. She was vigilant in case any attack came from the cloud. But Kyrad’s attacks did not come anymore.
Soon the cloud of dust settled.
Like Amiletta, Kyrad kept his distance.
“Now let’s get started.”
Soon after he said that several Kyrad Demons appeared along the castle wall.
His battle with Amiletta was a greeting. Now it was time for the real battle to begin.
“I don’t know if I can last a few days.”
